The Indian Air Force has said that its fighter jets have shot down a UFO.
A Sukhoi Su-30 MKI fighter jet was dispatched to deal with a 'balloon-shaped' object seen over the northern state of Rajasthan on Tuesday.
A statement from the IAF said the 'unidentified object' was 'intercepted and brought down'.
'Between 10.30 and 11 am today an unidentified balloon-shaped object was picked up by the Indian Air Force (IAF) radar,' it said in an official statement.

'An IAF fighter was launched, which intercepted the object and brought it down. Materials have been retrieved and further investigation is ongoing.'
Scott C Waring of UFO Sightings Daily told Yahoo it 'looked like a giant cloud orb'.
'Sometimes if they are struck by lightning, they can malfunction and fall to the earth,' he added.

They might have shot down an unidentified object , but it was not an ET craft , no way can you ""shoot"" down one of those . It might be something that black ops has that looks like  an "ET"" craft. 8)

QuoteIt has emerged the three-metre wide balloon appeared between 10.30am and 11am as the 67th annual Republic Day parade was happening in New Delhi.

Rounds fired at the balloon were said to be from the fighter's 30mm GSh-301 auto cannon.

According to a Government source, the balloon had "Happy Birthday" printed on it - in an apparent reference to the anniversary.
