Great post!!

Of course, we don't "yet" know what this is, but, IMHO, this is pretty incredible. Referred to as looking like "a sphere on an umbilical cord".

I think I have seen other presentations of sun videos, that discuss possible UFOs near the sun. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out in the "scientific" arena"!!!

Size of the sphere was not mentioned, but just the size of it, in the video, relative to the size of the sun,  - this sphere must be huge, just huge, to our way of thinking. Can anyone here put an estimate on the size of this thing??

Mayan Calendar 2012 Doomsday Scenarios Debunked By NASA Scientist (VIDEO)

Scientists at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory have put out a new video to address false claims about the "Mayan apocalypse," a non-event that some people believe will bring the world to an end on Dec. 21.

In the video, which was posted online Wednesday (Mar. 7), Don Yeomans, head of the Near-Earth Objects Program Office at NASA/JPL, explains away many of the most frequently cited doomsday scenarios. [See video]

Addressing the belief that the calendar used by the ancient Mayan civilization comes to a sudden end in December 2012, and that this will coincide with a cataclysmic, world-ending event, Yeomans said: "Their calendar does not end on December 21, 2012; it's just the end of the cycle and the beginning of a new one. It's just like on December 31, our calendar comes to an end, but a new calendar begins on January 1."

Yeomans also attempted to allay fears regarding potential causes of a Mayan apocalypse, including Nibiru, an imaginary planet that some people think is swinging in from the outer solar system just in time to collide with Earth in December. "This enormous planet is supposed to be coming toward Earth, but if it were, we would have seen it long ago. And if it were invisible somehow, we would have seen the [gravitational] effects of this planet on neighboring planets. Thousands of astronomers who scan the sky on a daily basis have not seen this," he said. [Believers In Mysterious Planet Nibiru Await Earth's End]

He added that there is zero possibility of a NASA cover-up.
"Can you imagine thousands of astronomers who observe the skies on a daily basis keeping the same secret from the public for several years?"

It has been seen before.  there are a few similar pictures to show just that in previous posts.

My problem with the whole "oh it's an explained phenomenon" and "our scientists postulate that it is an amalgamation of space dust coming to life" and "magnetic pole CME type event".

well... how many people actually went there to check it out.  none..that is how many.  they can all look out the ocular end of a telescope or the monitor, depending on the observatory i guess, they can all theorise and look at data and do the math.  but the fact of the matter is.. they don't have a friggen clue whatsoever.

It could be a space bound biosphere stopping for a picnic for all we know of the truth.

All I'm saying is never stop thinking "what if" because sometimes, things are PROVEN true one day, are PROVEN wrong the other...

last time I check the earth was a sphere, not a pancake...

I have to say. The sun is not just some ball of fire 

Maybe it is a black-hole after all, The solar-system stargate as Nassim proposed   
To bad the "slurping" Sphere didn't come up at exactly 19,47 degrees, we could invite mister Hoagland to explain?  

However, to much interactive thingies between planets, life, longitudes, ufos, me, you, knowledge?
