That's what I said before, political correctness is a direct result of the English language, in south-European languages like Portuguese, Spanish and French (I don't know enough Italian to say if it also applies) those words have either a neutral gender or we have a word for male and the word for female. We don't have words like "mankind" either (at least I don't remember any, which means that if it exists it's not commonly used).

The problem with a still image is that is doesn't show what was happening at the moment. I know that I hate videos, but, as I also say, they have their usefulness, and if we are talking about a person that was talking then we should look at that person's eyes while they were talking, not at a still image that may have been chosen for a specific effect in the viewer.

The claim that women voting for Clinton were voting with their vaginas was off-putting because it implied that preferring a female candidate wasn't a political choice, but rather an irrational animalistic imperative.
