It's an interesting situation. It's basically as though they were given the best deal ever by sheer luck, to enact the same scam as global warming, which they weren't able to get off the ground.

As long as they can keep all Democrats and quite a few GOP that hate Trump, all pulling together, they can keep the US in a lockdown and economic freefall. It's also a great scam for keeping Biden hidden, and probably out of debates altogether.

The riots and protests were just more luck piled on top of that. Perfect way to spread the COVID and boost the sick numbers. Not to mention their classic goals of anarchy, mayhem, and wrecking the law enforcement system.

But if a dem mysteriously wins in November, the day after the election they will all announce that it's time to get the economy and normal life going again.

They will also announce that the election ran perfectly if they win, and that it was all wrong if they lose, because of COVID, unrest, fear, no national mail-in ballots, etc etc etc.

They were also able to do the massive socialist money redistribution that they wanted to do in global warming. Especially to pay people to not work, almost a temporary basic universal income.

A huge stroke of luck for the aspiring socialists and communists. Just fell into their laps, and they're fighting like hell to keep it going.

:-\  It looks to me that this virus deal,..... is just that, a deal between certain people in power to set-up a situation that allows them to implement the actions they want to enforce.  Money and control.......Make money and increase control.  Another thing is, its a great way to test the amount of control they have over the population using the media.

UK to try to enforce Wearing Masks in Shops from July 24th

This was the next thing that I was dreading... Compulsary Mask Wearing when you go in shopping areas.
Not sure if this already applies in other Countries as yet.. ie other Euro countries or the  USA/ Canada / South Americas. ...

No doubt it will be awkward to try to enforce or a real pain for small shops who dont have security...
as well as a pain for security to have to deal with offenders..

then no doubt anyone seen without a mask on will be pointed out by the public who favor it...

One still wonders if this is really for the publics  best interest  .. or just another step to make us comply if they are doing this as some agenda to brainwash us further...

If the Virus is for real... then no doubt its now a main concern that we do not get a main 2nd wave... and many of the public may still wonder if the Govt has acted too soon in having made many recent changes that seem to sugest that  the threat seemed to have been contained or lowered in its severeity..

but its now a concern that people may now ignor many of the things that have led to the improvements...that could end up bringing the threats back...

Looking back no doubt many things that certain countries did were VERY poor to have aided or lowered the viruses potential threat.. and yet some Countries applied much safer / stricter rules that appeared to have reduced the threat considerably...

and as I have said before... I personally cannot understand WHY all Countries do not have a set standard procedure to apply to attempt to avoid the poor actions that led to increasing the threat like what the UK and USA had done...

It appears that they both were very poor and slow  at dealing with the threat in their applications.. such as taking more control of who they let into their country...and how long it took before they decided to control things to an accptable or valid positive effective application.

QuoteChair of Met Police Federation Says It Will be "Impossible" to Enforce Mandatory Face Masks in Shops

Quote

The Chair of the London Metropolitan Police Foundation says it will be "nigh-on impossible" to enforce a new law which makes the wearing of face masks mandatory in all shops in England from July 24.

People who refuse or forget to wear the masks face a possible £100 fine for non-compliance, but according to Ken Marsh, who represents police officers in the capital, imposing the new law is virtually inconceivable.

"We'll be driving round and round London looking for people who weren't wearing masks, it's absolutely absurd," said Marsh.

He pointed out that the burden would fall on shopkeepers to stop refusniks, although since they have no power to detain, individuals would just leave before police could arrive.

Peter Cowgill, chairman of UK clothing outlet JD Sports, said that store employees shouldn't be expected to try to enforce the law and that the outcome would just be less people shopping.

While health authorities have repeatedly insisted that wearing face masks helps stop the spread of COVID-19, the evidence is dubious at best.

The WHO only advocated face masks after political lobbying despite the science being unconvincing.

"The World Health Organization committee that reviewed the evidence for the use of face coverings in public didn't back them. But after political lobbying, the WHO now recommends them," reported BBC Newsnight.

Face masks were also widely used by Chinese people in Hubei province both before and during the original coronavirus outbreak, with seemingly little effect.

As Toby Young explains, forcing people to wear face masks in shops will only deter more people from going shopping, further damaging any chance of a proper economic recovery.

"One of the most depressing things about this Government's diktat is that it will mean people are even less likely to go shopping than they were when non-essential shops were allowed to re-open on July 4th," he writes.

"It's as if the Government is determined to destroy the high street. First, it insisted on the closure of non-essential shops; then it allowed them to re-open, but only on the proviso that they put ridiculous social distancing measures in place, such as limiting the number of people that can be inside at any one time and insisting that anyone entering use hand sanitiser; now they've decided to make the shopping experience even more unpleasant. It's the final blow, surely? Who will bother to go to a shop when they can get everything delivered to their front door?"

Unfortnately the last few weeks I have fell behind keeping up with other posts that may had been made in ref to Covid..
5G . Bill Gates Alex Jones theories etc and if I can later try to catch up on some of it..

I will try to read your link in more detail if I can later..if It seems to suggest relevant info to query COVID as a hoax.

If you and others who agree with you Kev are right in your opinions....in which I do still highly question the whole thing...

Then no doubt what do we expect to go on to happen from now on...is no doubt a severe concern...

In ref to the mask wearing and observing what various people are saying in the media etc... many are now seeming to becoming swayed to accept it....but there are some that still speak out about their concerns about it...but I think I get the impression many have submitted to accepting it as being real... or agreeing with those who suggest we use masks... as many other countries have appeared to had done so some time ago on a longer larger  scale..

I still have to question... should we not need to at least  see significant evidence the threat is coming back... before they suggest enforcemnt to have to wear masks..

it seems they may just be suggesting it  and people now more easily are swayed to accept it.. as they are burned out after the fear from the initial threat...

which could be genuine... or maybe if the Govt are hoaxing us... they now  know this would be the case from past experiences and human psychology..

The next thing is do they try to get us to wear them just for going out side.

but how many Authorities would they need to enforce fines...or how many people would they in prision if people ignored to pay them....

the expense would be huge.

But there are people now pointing out or making a fuss to people that dont wear masks..

and some have genuine medicals reasons why they do not wear them... who may be ill and DO NOT need people exposing them..... DO THEY HAVE to get Doctors Notes to prove their situation...

or wear something that explains their situation..to avoid confrontation...

Like anything in Life..

you always get people who will NOT say anything and some always will say something...

Its hard as both types of people can have valid points...

but Introverts may not like extroverts making a fuss...or challenging them...
in Extroverts may not like people staying silient...in what they may consider things that needs to be raised or discussed.
or exposed...

So many opinions on so many things in Life....we all have and differing levels to analyse or to TRY to make sense of things...

Then even the cleverest persosn in the World will have varied views...

Who do we trust if we feel that we are not sure about certain things ? to guide us...
Many suggest Govts.../ Scientists etc.. but many may also have concerns against them..

Its so time consuming / demanding even trying to consider such things at times..

There is most definitely something shady going on and it's not good. I don't think it's going according to the plans of whomever set the gears in motion though, which means it's going to get kicked up a notch. Some further comments about wearing Masks or face coverings from PJ Watson.

QuoteThe same type of face masks that the UK government is mandating people wear in shops from July 24 onwards to protect against the spread of coronavirus specifically state on their packaging that they don't protect against coronavirus.

Genius.

Earlier this week, the government confirmed that anyone caught not wearing a mask when entering a shop or supermarket will be subject to a police fine of £100, prompting the Chair of the London Metropolitan Police Foundation to complain that this would be totally unenforcable.

However, the law states that cloth masks, scarves or other textile items that don't require the use of hands to hold them in place are acceptable forms of protection against COVID-19.

One problem with that, the packaging on these kind of cloth masks specifically states that they don't protect against COVID-19.

"This product is an ear loop mask. This product is not a respirator and will not provide any protection against COVID-19 (coronavirus) or any other viruses or contaminants," states the packaging on a standard set of cloth masks currently being sold.

Skeptics have also pointed out that people continually touching potentially infected masks and then touching surfaces could even exacerbate the spread of coronavirus.

"Apart from everything else, the only coverings the Government is insisting on are cloth ones, which every man and his dog knows are COMPLETELY USELESS," writes Toby Young.

"As Allison Pearson says in her excellent comment piece in today's Telegraph, "anything other than tight-fitting, surgical-grade masks are utterly pointless – like trying to stop a bullet with a chain-link fence". I mean, the evidence that the gold-standard N95 masks are effective in non-healthcare settings is threadbare at best – and they have to be disposed of after a single use."

"There is literally no evidence that re-usable cloth masks are effective in community settings. None. It's like wearing a tin foil hat in case you get struck by lightening – an ineffective way to protect yourself from an almost non-existent risk. What has become of us?"

Health Secretary Matt Hancock said mandating the wearing of masks would "give people more confidence to shop safely and enhance protections for those who work in shops," however many have reacted to the law by asserting that they will simply avoid shops altogether.

This will lead to yet more economic devastation, more high street job losses and in the longer term, more poverty and death.

Again, genius.

I think that I may need something more like a light weight Astronauts or deep sea divers  or motor bike like helmet or see thru type of gas mask sphere type complete head cover  that has some sort of filter or oxygen feed or demister...

or bubble heads

which also maybe better as it also may help avoid Facial recognition issues..(better if tinted or more coloured)

The Muslim Women or ninja type head coverings may  also now seem to have been a good idea in todays Surveilance society...

or maybe to wear a type of BOJO face mask  as a new styleUK  fashion  in ref to him asking us to wear masks :)

For those who hav been aware of such theories..

If correct , what you say would seem very possible... Conpirisist like Alex Jones have been saying this or similar for a long time. That some form of Chipping could occur and take more control of us...

It would seem  just like some nightmare film sceneio of the future with some Evil leaders with their Scientist to bring it to become some Hi tech Frankinstein agenda  or in a Bond movie Villians who has planned this all out for years..

Only this could be much Worse than anything ever in the History of tyranny...which has gone on over many past lifetimes...be it the Romans , Nazis or who ever..

There is No doubt about it .. we have become like Lab rats to them if this is not a real virus and is designed as a hoax.
Just seeing how many of us comply in our Millions.. just shows the power behind it...and what Fear can do...

but in reality as yet...it would not seem more fearful those who have been to war or what our past generations went thru during WW2..

UK, US, Canada accuse Russia of hacking virus vaccine trials

Quote

LONDON (AP) — Britain, the United States and Canada accused Russian hackers on Thursday of trying to steal information from researchers seeking a coronavirus vaccine, warning scientists and pharmaceutical companies to be alert for suspicious activity.

(1 of 2) A subject receives a shot in the first-stage safety study clinical trial of a potential vaccine by Moderna for COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, at the Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute in Seattle. Britain, the United States and Canada accused Russia on Thursday July 16, 2020, of trying to steal information from researchers seeking a COVID-19 vaccine.
July 16, 2020

Intelligence agencies in the three nations alleged that the hacking group APT29, also known as Cozy Bear and said to be part of the Russian intelligence services, is attacking academic and pharmaceutical research institutions involved in COVID-19 vaccine development.

"It is completely unacceptable that the Russian Intelligence Services are targeting those working to combat the coronavirus pandemic,'' British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said in a statement, accusing Moscow of pursuing "selfish interests with reckless behavior."

Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, rejected the British accusations, saying: "We don't have information about who may have hacked pharmaceutical companies and research centers in Britain."

"We may say one thing: Russia has nothing to do with those attempts," Peskov said, according to the state news agency Tass. The persistent and ongoing attacks are seen by intelligence officials as an effort to steal intellectual property, rather than to disrupt research. The campaign of "malicious activity'' is ongoing and includes attacks "predominantly against government, diplomatic, think tank, health care and energy targets,'' Britain's National Cyber Security Centre said in a statement.

Britain's NCSC said its assessment was shared by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency and the National Security Agency, and by the Canadian Communication Security Establishment. The move at a coordinated position seemed designed to add heft and gravity to the announcement — hopefully prompting the targets of the hackers to take protective action.

It was unclear whether any information actually was stolen, but the U.K. says individuals' confidential information is not believed to have been compromised. The U.K. statement did not say whether Putin knew about the vaccine research hacking, but British officials believe such intelligence would be highly prized.

Relations been Russia and the U.K. have plummeted since former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter were poisoned with a Soviet-made nerve agent in the English city of Salisbury in 2018 and later recovered. Britain blamed Moscow for the attack, which triggered a round of retaliatory diplomatic expulsions between Russia and Western countries.

In a separate report Thursday, Britain accused "Russian actors" of trying to interfere in December's U.K. national election by circulating leaked or stolen documents online. Unlike in the vaccine report, the U.K. did not allege that the Russian state was involved in the political meddling.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is being accused by opponents of suppressing a report into Russian interference in British politics that was completed last year by the committee that oversees the U.K. intelligence services. The document was not cleared for publication before the general election in December, and the six -month delay since then in appointing new members to the Intelligence and Security Committee led to allegations that Johnson's government was deliberately stalling.

The opposition Labour Party has accused the government of failing to publish the report because it would lead to other questions about links between Russia and the Brexit campaign in Britain's 2016 European Union membership referendum, which Johnson helped to lead.

The intelligence committee met for the first time this week and said it would publish the Russia report before Parliament begins its summer break on July 22. Some critics accused the government of releasing its dossiers of allegations about Russia as a diversionary tactic.

Johnson's spokesman, James Slack, said that was "nonsense." The report of Russia trying to hack COVID-19 vaccine research comes two years to the day since Trump stood alongside Putin in Helsinki and appeared to side with Moscow instead of U.S. intelligence agencies about the 2016 election interference.

A 16-page advisory prepared by Western agencies accuses Cozy Bear of using custom malicious software to target a number of organizations globally. The malware, called WellMess and WellMail, has not previously been associated with the hacking group, the advisory said.

"In recent attacks targeting COVID-19 vaccine research and development, the group conducted basic vulnerability scanning against specific external IP addresses owned by the organizations. The group then deployed public exploits against the vulnerable services identified," the advisory said.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's cybersecurity agency warned in April that cybercriminals and other groups were targeting COVID-19 research, noting at the time that the increase in people teleworking because of the pandemic had created potential avenues for hackers to exploit.

The global reach and international supply chains of these organizations also make them vulnerable, the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency said in an alert published in conjunction with its counterparts in Britain.

CISA said it and the British cyberseucity agency have detected the threat groups scanning the external websites of targeted companies and looking for vulnerabilities in unpatched software. It did not identify any of the targeted companies.

U.S. authorities have for months leveled similar accusations against China. FBI Director Chris Wray said last week, "At this very moment, China is working to compromise American health care organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and academic institutions conducting essential COVID-19 research."

Mike Chapple, an information technology expert at the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business, said the Russian hackers realized that knowledge is power when it comes to COVID-19. "I think the biggest takeaway from these attacks is that other countries are actively targeting the health research industry and we're seeing the pharmaceutical companies and others being targeted because they have the information that can be used to help alleviate this global pandemic,'' he said. "It's reasonable to conclude that the coronavirus is the No. 1 priority of every intelligence agency around the world right now.''

Bill Gates Says Indian Pharma Industry Soon Able to Produce Covid-19 Vaccines for Entire World
Major countries, including US, race to develop first vaccine against Coronavirus

QuoteAs the number of COVID-19 cases approaches the one million mark in India, the country has accelerated its efforts to roll out a vaccine against Coronavirus. Recently, two potential vaccines against the virus, produced by Bharat Biotech and Zydus Cadila, were approved for human trials.

Microsoft Co-Founder Bill Gates on Thursday acknowledged India's efforts in terms of research and work on developing a vaccine against Coronavirus, while stating that India is now a member of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI).

Founded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and headquartered in Oslo, Norway, CEPI accepts donations from public, private, philanthropic, and civil organisations and finances independent research projects to develop vaccines against emerging infectious diseases.

"India has a lot of capacity there – with the drug and vaccine companies that are huge suppliers to the entire world. You know, more vaccines are made in India than anywhere – starting with Serum Institute, that's the largest. I am excited that the pharmaceutical industry there will be able to produce not just for India but also for the entire world," the 64-year old business mogul commented in a documentary titled "COVID-19: India's War Against The Virus" which is set to premiere today on Discovery Plus.

Gates also highlighted that health crisis was being magnified in India due to the country's massive population and density.

Netizens have reacted to the news on social media. Here is what they had to say.

The US, UK, Russia, India, China, and Australia are also racing to develop the first vaccine against Coronavirus.

So far, there are reportedly over 155 potential candidates, all at different stages of the development. Out of these, around 23 potential vaccines for Coronavirus are in human trials, with Russia leading the squad.

In India, there are 331,146 active cases, with 24,915 deaths. A total of 612,814 people have recovered or been discharged as well, according to latest statistics of the federal Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

QuoteNo doubt it will be awkward to try to enforce or a real pain for small shops who dont have security...
as well as a pain for security to have to deal with offenders..
In Portugal that doesn't apply, as the number of people inside shops is already reduced to (in theory), 0.02 persons per square metre, so most small shops can only have one person at a time inside.

Quotethen no doubt anyone seen without a mask on will be pointed out by the public who favor it...
As far as I know that hasn't happened here, at least not in a scale to make it noticeable. A few days ago there was one person that went to the office of a company that, although not the one where I work, it's a "sister" company, and I have been helping them most of the time. That person didn't have a mask, so we gave her one and she put it on without any problems, I suppose she only forgot about it.

QuoteOne still wonders if this is really for the publics  best interest  .. or just another step to make us comply if they are doing this as some agenda to brainwash us further...
Wearing masks is the best way of not spreading CoViD-19 or any other disease, haven't you noticed in the last years, when we see images from Japan we see some people wearing masks? They have been doing that for a long time.

QuoteIf the Virus is for real... then no doubt its now a main concern that we do not get a main 2nd wave... and many of the public may still wonder if the Govt has acted too soon in having made many recent changes that seem to sugest that  the threat seemed to have been contained or lowered in its severeity..

but its now a concern that people may now ignor many of the things that have led to the improvements...that could end up bringing the threats back...
In Portugal, in the Lisbon area, we haven't had a reduction of the number of new cases, so things are stricter than in the rest of the country. One of the reasons things haven't got better is because people are ignoring the directions of the health authority and even making "CoViD parties". In at least one case some of the people in one of those parties were making bets to see who would catch it first when the police arrived and disbanded the party.

QuoteLooking back no doubt many things that certain countries did were VERY poor to have aided or lowered the viruses potential threat.. and yet some Countries applied much safer / stricter rules that appeared to have reduced the threat considerably...
The places where things were better controlled were the places where people are already being controlled, like China and South Korea. Yes, I said South Korea, people were completely tracked by the government and as they knew exactly where people were at almost any time they were able to quickly find the sources of the infections and close those areas. They were very strict and the result was a strong reduction in cases soon after the start.

Quoteand as I have said before... I personally cannot understand WHY all Countries do not have a set standard procedure to apply to attempt to avoid the poor actions that led to increasing the threat like what the UK and USA had done...
Different laws, timelines and situations.

For example, in Portugal they had to declare state of emergency, which allows the suspension of some constitutional rights, to be able to enforce the stay at home order and give police the power to sent people back home, as the Portuguese constitution states that everyone has the right to resist an order that goes against their rights, liberties and guarantees.

QuoteIt appears that they both were very poor and slow  at dealing with the threat in their applications.. such as taking more control of who they let into their country...and how long it took before they decided to control things to an accptable or valid positive effective application.
In Portugal, our biggest problem was lack of control of the people entering the country. I know a lawyer that married an Italian man and moved to Italy 2 years ago. As she still has some pending processes she has to come to Portugal from time to time, and she entered Portugal, coming from the North of Italy, the area worst affected, at the beginning of March, and she told us that nobody asked her if she had any symptoms or any thing like that, she just walked through the airport without any control.

QuoteLooks like maybe Alex Jones could have been right that Trump may have challenged Bill Gates (If Gates is head of the WHO)
That's a very big "if"...

QuoteIt seems that the UK Govt have been concerned about Huawei as they say they plan to ban using its services / equipment..

UK to ban new Huawei equipment due to security risks

https://www.foxbusiness.com/technology/uk-ban-huawei-equipment
I saw that today on Euronews, the UK, as usual, acts like a servant of the US, so if the US bans Huawei they have to do the same. The interesting part is that most equipment for 5G is made by Huawei, so I suppose 5G will have some delays as a result.

PS: Vodafone in Portugal uses Huawey routers for the normal and corporate Internet clients.

I find it funny that at least 4 or 5 years ago it was known that Chinese technology is riddled with back-doors and seemingly added functionality to give them spying capabilities in a lot of goods. It should be NO surprise to anyone that in this day and age you can't trust anyone to do the right thing and make products that have your best interest in mind.
