I don't think there's one thing that started it all, only a conjunction of things that got together.

Coincidence? Probably, but I don't have any way of knowing.

IMO...nothing happens in a vacuum.
So if there is more than one catalyst, care to explain how these different catalysts came together?

I don't know, I don't even know if it really was a conjunction of things that got together, that's just the impression I get.

I don't think things happen without a catalyst. And something did happen to change things for some people and not for otheres.....

Nine parallel lines that are detectable by hobbits.
Nine lines that carry information( consciousness)
Where multiple sets of such lines cross they form polygons( the ring)
Hobbits know such locations as do the mighty Oaks.

Dimensions are fixed permanent.
Time flows along the lines.
Time ( information spins around huge rings) and when the information returns You will know (ledge).

Dimensions are accessible to jump across to if You have the ability that cats have, those felines are good at jumping.
