sky -

Good detective skills. If you have settled on one then PM your answer.

This reminds me a lot of researching UFOs. You track down many trails not knowing if or where they will lead.

...and then occasionally you hit the jackpot.

and

he was also in star trek

His "Taxi" (1978) character, Reverend Jim Ignatowski, was a big fan of the original "Star Trek" (1966) series. Lloyd later went on to play the Klingon commander Kruge in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984).

and

To prepare for the role of Taber in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975), he lived in a mental institution for a few weeks and studied the patients. He modeled his character after one of the patients and stayed in character throughout all filming even when not on screen.

i was asking if you were holding onto your answer that it was not lloyd

Well of course I am.  8)

As the clue maker I am bound by honor to make them factual and answer PM guesses honestly.

Read back over them after you discover the answer, and you will find this to be true.

However clever wording is the art form of this contest when the game's afoot.  ;D

And me 'enjoying torturing folk'? Oh come now, don't you see the people that live for their shot at the daily crossword puzzle?  ;)

Don't be stressed and enjooooooy it!  ;D

1980s.....

I keep looking at this guy and I do think that I have seen him
at some time...

He seems to have a bit of Eastern in him...and may have starred in a Kung Fu Movie...

Reminds me of a character in the water Margins series.

BUt at the same time he seems a bit old for it..

Is it a scene from a fight ?

Adding to Undos observations..
The Blue stuff he has on his trousers and fingers...I wonder if that is from the Floor as that is also blue..
There seem to be about  3 maybe 4 others persons in the picture.

I want to add for clarity that players are not limited to one guess.

You may submit new guesses as often as you like.

;D

astr0144

So this guy is NOT the main character of the film !

But is he in it a fair amount  ? or Just a small part ?

I take it you have seen this part of this movie ....

IF so is that a Blue carpet or floor or a swimming pool in that background ?

No it is not a scene from a fight.

More like a confrontation as I mentioned earlier.

Suffice it to say his is not a lead role.

Ok it's past midnight so here's todays clue -

For those searching but not in a great haste,

will see with each post made in this place,

the answer staring them right in the face.

When using intuition and deciding which is right,

have we not learned which one not to fight?

When sorting which speculation is best,

and then also which might be instead worst,

remember sometimes the best hint be not the last,

but instead the one that was...

;)
