my mom was an antique fan. she passed away a couple years ago just a few months shy of 90 years of age.   i am not so much a fan of antiques but i do love to study ancient texts and cultures and could very easily be persuaded to collect ancient  artifacts if such a thing were legal, but it ain't and i guess, some artifacts should, in the famous words of lady galadriel, "stay buried" (she was referring to the one ring, which i liken to the star gate idea). if i found something like i'd be trying to figure out where it could be hidden so it wouldn't be opened, subjecting us all to who knows what.

anyway, that's a different subject.

i'm sorry and i don't think A51 meant any wrong by it, probably just trying to stop any potential name calling from starting as it was getting close.  one of the problems is that religion is such a sore spot.  i should know that by now, but was hoping (foolishly i might add) that it wouldn't be as much of an issue here.   and it really isn't, just occassionally.  add to occassionally, the incidents i see elsewhere. i log onto world of warcraft and the trade chat occassionally erupts to a christian bashing frenzy. later, when i log off and read the news, and see more and watch youtube videos and see a video down the side about more and more and more and .....i mean asking me to not believe in something that is, from all appearances, harmless (how scary is jesus ?  the guy says forgive everyone, love everyone, doesn't sound like a bad idea. hehe), or face persecution or death or harrassment or constant demeaning.  really now.   not gonna happen. lol

so anyway, yeah i'm sorry.

i like the colors and patterns and style, but i realized after i painted it that her 3 braids were 666 backwards lol creeped me out.  i guess backwards 666 is the opposite of forwards 666. yeah, that's the ticket!  lol

i had a theory that the two pillars represented the ascending and descending radiation jets from the center of a quasar (active galaxy), because these are mentioned twice in the book of enoch while he's on a tour of the universe or something. lol that's one interesting story.

i know the traditional description.  i did some research on it but didn't get real indepth.  just enough that i noticed, well, here:
