Its my pleasure Dueum to share a bit o gold wit' ya'!!

If godzilla was coming down the raod, Id probably get stepped on trying to get my droid camera to open up quickly!LOL!

I think all folks will revert to fear in an emergency situation, and for myself, the biggest hurdle was in Oechi Ryu when my sensei would walk by and we never knew who was getting picked for Kata that day in front of the whole class! Not me, Not me!!!!  :P

I have tried to instill that sense of awareness in place of fear, and it has worked well for me, and Im sure you arent afraid of much, so for you it's a few baby steps away from being fear free for good!

Please dont get squashed by a car, although if you did, the resulting color palette would be simply amazing!
I wonder if it would look like the Dueum version without the conversion? ???

Oooh grosss!

I will always have to be conscious of not allowing fear to invade my mind, and there is always that tiny point when something that should be frightening takes place, but so far Ive been able to apply this mantra with ease, and Im sure youll have no problem doing the same.

Funny, the other day some huge guy was running his mouth at a restaurant we were at, and annoying all the other patrons with his cussing and obnoxiousness. Everyone was petrified of the guy because of his angry demeanor and huge size.

I got up and walked over to his table, and calmly asked him to please stop being so loud and to stop cussing in front of all the kids who were in the place.

He stood up 6 inches taller than me and a hundred pounds heavier, and I didnt flinch.
I asked him..."what are you going to do, kick my ass?", as I placed my arms at 3 and 9 oclock with absolutely no fear at all, and he looked at me with steam coming out of his ears, and then just walked out of the place.

As I went back to finish my lunch everyone clapped and said, dude, youre nuts, and you have no fear do you?

I said, well life just seems to work better that way, and enjoyed the peace!LOL!!!!

Cheers, my friend!

Ah, this is what I don't do because of training. I seem to be best under these conditions because of the trained fear has turned into results for me.

QuoteI have tried to instill that sense of awareness in place of fear
This sounds very close to what I was writing, just sep it up a bit, those few steps.

QuotePlease dont get squashed by a car, although if you did, the resulting color palette would be simply amazing!

Oooh grosss!

Would not work, too much gray. Gray skin, gray brain matter, gray endtrails. Na! The program likes color.

QuoteI will always have to be conscious of not allowing fear to invade my mind
For me I would just change "invade" to the word "control" and we are on par.
The fact that it is there, is another thing I can use to my advantage.

Indeed, D!  On par we are!

Great idea for the Secret thread, Zorgon! It, like the down the rabbit hole movie, simplifies a complex subject into an easy to follow road to success. I have been a fan of being positive and thinking positive for decades, yet I havent made the effort to do it 24/7.

After seeing that clip, I ordered the dvd, as my wife asked if I would. She saw the clip, too, and said, hey I want to see that! I cant get her to take much interest in what I do, and who I associate with, and for a while now Ive been thinking forward about how grand it woud be if we could share this special change my life has taken. She took that step last night, ironically within minutes of seeing the 20 minute clip, and me thinking how great it would be if we could share the ride.

Well, with one fell swoop, I think she's a comin' round, cap'n!:D

I also must say, the growth of goodness everyone here on PRC seems to have taken recently is awesomely inspiring, and the way Zorgon, Amy, and Seeker have just pushed it to the next level is fantastic.

It really is hard to find people to communicate at this level with in my town, but they are here, and whats funny is as a part of Linkedin, I get these meetup emails, that say  "join the Law of Attraction group in a nearby town".

I always thought they meant to put singles together and it was a dating group ??? so I avoided answering the messages, but now I see what theyre up to, and may join them for a meeting or two.

My personal thanks to all of you friends who have been here for me on PRC, as you guys have helped me grow so much in such a short time, I am forever indebted to you. Right now I am thinking the best thoughts about all of you, and how someday we will all meet for a big gathering somewhere beautiful.

And yes Amy, I do have a really nice TV that I always dreamed of having, yet I watch a total of maybe ten hours a week now, as spending my free time is done in an atmosphere I couldnt have fathomed a year ago...the atmosphere created by the best bunch of cool folks ever...PRC!

Well, my first new day has started with a bang, and as I watered a few plants and vacuumed the pool, the thoughts of prosperity have been flowing.

My current goal is to assemble a think tank of people like ourselves, who can make the effort of pushing for either windmill or solar energy improvement.
We all would be well paid by the grants from many philantropist's and even the government at first, and we will make the biggest push forward to become a strong part of the nations energy policy decisions.

Of course now we are little guys with big ideas, but soon these ideas will come to fruition, and we will all have the great knowledge in our hearts we achieved the ultimate goal, which to me still, as I told Amaterasu when we first met, is to Save the World and it's people from entropy.

A lofty goal? Worth it, and now more than ever in the last week, Ive become a lofty thinker!

Happy Mornin'
Littleenki

Thank YOU, Dave.  [smile] We are all blessed.

And You know MY push with energy - any free energy will do to eliminate the need for money.  I just want My flying house.  [grin]

I might point out that I don't have fear of sticking My finger in sockets...because I know I won't.

I don't fear being run over on My motorcycle (or didn't when I had one for 10 years), because I know I can handle it and survive should it actually happen (which it did a few times - and lo.  I am here).

I don't fear the plane I am on will crash because I know that should it happen, I will be free of the struggle and have a clearer perspective.

I don't fear having no money - I have friends who will (and DO!) help Me.

I cannot FEAR these things.  I do keep My eye out for any problems I can avoid - like when riding My bike back in the day, but fear?  Nope.

Oh BTW, If my plan comes to fruition...and it will...you are on tap as the VP of energy theory and advancement.

You would oversee every idea and theory that came into the group before anyone could make a decision to say yea or nay.

And your office would float above the hangar where our workshops would be, so you could watch the saving of the world in real time!

You would ride to work on the motorcycle of your choice, whether as the driver or in a beautiful cushy sidecar with those cool goggles the germans used to wear!

I cant wait for that day when we have all the pieces in place, and trust me, Amy, that day is coming fast!

I guess I am not writing this very well. What I tryed to say that there is a difference between fear and afraid.

Why would you not stick your finger in that socket? It may be off, What do you fear? Some time in your past life or lifes, we learned that this is not a good thing and took that fear and converted it to knowledge. When I ride my bike here, I only fear what the other driver is going to do because it is out of my control and learning curve. Past fears have taught me to swirve now and not wait to get hit. The plane again is a contol thing. If I was doing the flying everyone else could be in fear. but not me.

Seeing what happens to people with no money in some circumstances does set a fear up and changes how you wish to live life. It will either change you or you will die from no food. Right now I will pass on the die part. No Money, no one helping, like it is here. Why do you keep an eye out for any problems you can avoid. I would think that is from training caused by fear that you now use to your advantage. For some people this might take years, like going on a jet. For others it might take moments to pass.

I kind of thiink we are all saying almost the same things with just a different opinion on how we get there. What is the opposite of fear, strength? Ok, with out one is there another? How can you judge one by itself? It is good to hear that a lot of you live with no fear. My question is how to get there with out it.....

Deuem

Linda Brown

This may be off the subject... but since its a pretty wide opening statement I have a thought on a popular saying which I find profoundly ...... OK..... stupid......

" Whatever doesn't kill you..... makes you stronger.!"

NO.... it doesn't . It just doesn't kill you.

Sometimes the experience is so profoundly dehabilitating that there is no actual recovery from it.

What you LEARN from bad experiences may make you stronger but thats generally because you should be wiser. And wisdom always makes a person stronger, either physically, mentally , spiritually or things not even counted yet.

Deuem, my friend, you seem to be confusing worry with fear; I am not afraid of dying, already been dead once over 30 years ago; but that does not mean that I don't use caution and awareness to safe guard my person; I realise that any time I choose to hop on a bike there is always a chance of being involved in an accident; same way with when I fly to meetings, or drive across country, or work on a scissor lift 40 feet in the air...

Fear is that paralysing emotion the can and will make you freeze in place, debilitate you to the point you cannot move or respond rationally...

the whole point is simply that we are co-creators of our paradigm; that our will, emotions, and desires create that which we face on the morrow...

I watched the "Secret" many years ago, and it tells the same hypothesis as I and others relate in simpler terms; believe in yourself, totally,  without doubts, without fear, know that you are the force behind all that you draw towards you...

a person that has a fear of heights cannot work as I do at times, for their fear will cause them to either freeze up, panic, in some cases totally freak out...

continue onward, my friends, just stay totally focused and positive at all times; learn to love all things, even the people that demean you or cause harm; to react in any other way allows the dark side to win... 8)

I think all folks will revert to fear in an emergency situation,

If all people reverted to fear in an emergency situation, there would be no one to rescue anyone.

I think the problem is the definition of fear. Perhaps we need a new word to name that protective instinct we all have that makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck.

During an emergency situation, what happens to most people is not fear... it is shock. Shock of not know why this happened to them and shock of not knowing what to do.

During the EQ/Tsunami in Japan I watched that almost 24/7 for three months. One thing I noticed was the total helplessness of people.

They were cold and wet... yet there was firewood all around them from the damaged buildings...

They said they had no gas to send a working vehicle to bring aid, yet the country side was litered with cars that had gas in the tanks... but no one thought to syphon it off

It wasn't only about 4 weeks into it that some made shelters out of the debris, gathered wood for fires and boiled water for drinking

I even wrote the Japanese news network to ask why, but got no reply

So it shows that we have become so complacent as a society that people don't even have the basic survival skills they need for an emergency

Fear... the kind that makes you freeze up so you cannot function is very bad... If you have that when Godzilla is in da hood you will be squished :D

Fear... the kind that makes you worry about that airplane, about crossing that street... that will lead to anxiety and a big bill with a local shrink

THIS is the one that applies to the Law of Attraction... if you fret about it long enough, you will eventually draw it too you

On an airplane you can help your anxiety by sitting over the wing. It is the most stable part of the plane and the least bumpy in turbulence. It is also the most likely spot to survive a crash and it is near the emergency exit door :D  Just keep the window closed during a storm,  because the wings will look like rubber

Crossing the street... always be aware of the situation... Instead of worrying about that car, pay attention to all details. Just because you have a green light is no guarantee that the guy will stop at that red light

If your worried about getting schmoshed on a motor bike, maybe you are driving that bike irresponsibly :P

Worry is not quite fear, but that state of mind will cause you to miss some important detail that MAY cause you grief because your mind is elsewhere

Fear... as in being attune to danger around you. That is the term we need to change.  It is more being alert and using that sixth sense we all have but few can call on at will. It is that sixth sense that keeps us alive... and it is clouded by fear, as fear in this case may make you leap before you look

 ;D

i've never understood worry
if you are worried about something you educate yourself on it
what would happen if
how would i handle it
what can i do to prevent it
and then you are as prepared as  you can get and you let go of the worry

now fear is a whole other ballgame
if you are in an alterted state/dreaming/astral travel/etc  and have something coming after you
yikes now what..
educate yourself again before hand or for the next time..only this time find out about yourself
who you REALLY are and how Powerful
and know that you really can handle anything tossed your way
but only if you know that..and truly it's all you have to know
recognize yourself and you are free

we are awesome

Littleenki

Mornin' Zorgon,

I posted "I think all folks will revert to fear in an emergency situation, "

You replied "If all people reverted to fear in an emergency situation, there would be no one to rescue anyone."

Both true, Id say.

Many responders have a great deal of fear, they are just trained to suppress it whilest saving people who are injured or trapped, but rest assured, as a volunteer fireman for a while, I was scared poopless while going into a burning building on fire, or approaching a burning car. Fear was right there in me the whole time, I just kept it in it's little box.

I guess that turns it into worry.

Fear is a cause AND effect, so true definition of it is quite difficult in any context.

I guess fear wears many hats, as you say, Zorgon. I know when I get on a plane I always look around me and can tell who is afraid and who isnt by the way they look out the windows, check their seat belts repeatedly, drink voluminous amounts of scotch(thats me:)) and so on.

Im sitting on that wing from now on!LOL!

People reverting to fear in an emergency may not always be the first thing that happens, but of course as the event wears on, it changes to several other layers...shock or what have you.

Worry, as you say...will we have food, will there be looters, will we get ice and power?...is a big part of any emergency, just not in a run and hide sense.

Worry, as it seems, does frequently come before the emergency, maybe even causes it to have a higher percentage of happening if it is directly a result of the person in fear, like a guy on a jetski who forgets that they dont have steering without throttle and coasts into a bridge piling at 40 mph with the handlebars turned all the way to one side and no throtttle applied.

As the bridge approaches, his fear or worry of passing beneath it alters his perception of what he needs to do to go smoothly through...seen it happen dozens of times.....and then wham!

As far as shock, Ive seen it in play after a few of the hurricanes weve had here in Florida, and like you say, they walk around in a daze with no idea how to help themselves, while everything they need is still right there...gas, wood, propane grills, fish(in the water still :P)...just no ice or power.

It is a sad sight for the ones who havent been able to handle the trauma. Ive helped many through the aftermath and see their fear and worry as debilitating at best.

The Secret. Love it, Z!!!!!

Thanks so much for showing me the whole collection in the thread you put together, I will remember that thread you started everyday of my life from here on out, as when the growing began.

As you may know I sell jewelry that my wife and I make, and sales are definitely affected by attitude and such, but the feeling I got last night while just standing there, after reading all of the book by Rasmussen, and watching the movie, was so surreal for me.

People would walk by our booth, and just stop and turn towards us, and come right up to the table with a smile on their faces. I dont know what they were experiencing, but I know it was profoundly enjoyable for our wallets!!!!  :o After one day of applying the methods therein, the book and movie, I saw a result!

I have to say, I never really watched the Secret or thought of the law of attraction beyond particle physics, and the movie, although great and eye opening, was a simpler version for me than the book by Sean Rasmussen. I think everyone here wants to see the movie as it is the easiest form of the whole, but I implore all of you to read Rasmussen's book for clarity and recall after the movie is tucked into the dvd stack.

And as Rasmussen says, carry it with you and read it often for a refresher, I will!

A truly new look at life, Zorgon, and if you hadnt presented the opportunity, I may have never known that secret at all.

My sincerest thanks to you, friend!
