Why is it that I get the feeling that you are simply running back to your source to get another shovel of coal for this fire.

You can talk about this further with Mikado if you want. I grow weary of it.   Linda

Why is it that I get the feeling that you are simply trying to do everything you can possibly do not to understand what occurs physically in nature to cause gravity and the observed behaviors in a double slit experiment.

If you want to understand gravity and what occurs physically in nature in a double slit experiment then understand the following.

Displaced aether pushing back and exerting inward pressure toward matter is gravity.

A moving particle has an associated aether displacement wave. In  a double slit experiment the particle travels a well defined trajectory which takes it through one slit while the associated aether wave passes through both.

Aether is a piece of cloth...

drop something onto that cloth it will stretch the fabric...

tension of that fabric will wont to push back...

You can try this at home

What you are describing is the state of displacement of the aether.

yeah but I did it in four lines :D

Aether displaced by matter pushes back and exerts inward pressure toward the matter; which is gravity.

I did it in one.

Linda Brown

Thank you fellas.   Linda

Pimander

Except that is what the ether does not do.  Never mind. ::)

The reason the objects continue with a constant motion is because ether is NOT how you guys describe.  Jeeeez!

WTF is going on here lol.

Linda Brown

Ah! Here comes the moment between the either/ or!

haha.... thats funny......

Hello Primander.... Your description then of aether?

Thank you fellas.   Linda

Why are you unable to answer if 'stuff' has mass, or not?

In aether displacement, mass is defined as that which physically occupies three dimensional space. Aether has mass.

Copied and pasted.again.

'Horava-Lifshitz theory as a Fermionic Aether in Ashtekar gravity'
http://arxiv.org/abs/1206.6296

"We show how Ho\v{r}ava-Lifshitz (HL) theory appears naturally in the Ashtekar formulation of relativity if one postulates the existence of a fermionic field playing the role of aether. The spatial currents associated with this field must be switched off for the equivalence to work. Therefore the field supplies the preferred frame associated with breaking refoliation (time diffeomorphism) invariance, but obviously the symmetry is only spontaneously broken if the field is dynamic."

Another article referring to the state of displacement of the aether.

Now thats somethin new mpc...Lol!

The following article describes the aether as an incompressible fluid resulting in what the article refers to as gravitational aether caused by pressure (or vorticity).

'Phenomenology of Gravitational Aether as a solution to the Old Cosmological Constant Problem'
http://arxiv.org/abs/1106.3955

"One proposal to address this puzzle at the semi-classical level is to decouple quantum vacuum from space-time geometry via a modification of gravity that includes an incompressible fluid, known as Gravitational Aether. In this paper, we discuss classical predictions of this theory along with its compatibility with cosmological and experimental tests of gravity. We argue that deviations from General Relativity (GR) in this theory are sourced by pressure or vorticity."

The following article describes gravity as a pressure exerted by aether toward matter.

'The aether-modified gravity and the G ?del metric'
http://arxiv.org/pdf/1109.5654v2

"As for the pressure, it is equal to p = 53??g,6a2 so, it is positive if ?g < 3 which is the weaker condition than the previous one. One notes that the results corresponding to the usual gravity are easily recovered. Also, it is easy to see that the interval ?g < 15 corresponds to the usual matter."

The following article describes a gravitating vacuum where aether is the quantum vacuum of the 21-st century.

'From Analogue Models to Gravitating Vacuum'
http://arxiv.org/pdf/1111.1155

"The aether of the 21-st century is the quantum vacuum, which is a new form of matter. This is the real substance"

The following articles describe what is presently postulated as dark matter is aether.

'Quantum aether and an invariant Planck scale'
http://arxiv.org/abs/1110.3753

"this version of aether may have some bearing on the abundance of Dark Matter and Dark Energy in our universe."

"mass of the aether"

'Scalars, Vectors and Tensors from Metric-Affine Gravity'
http://arxiv.org/pdf/1110.5168

"the model obtained here gets closer to the aether theory of , which is shown therein to be an alternative to the cold dark matter."

'Unified model for dark matter and quintessence'
http://arxiv.org/pdf/physics/0610135

"Superfluid dark matter is reminiscent of the aether and modeling the universe using superfluid aether is compatible."

'Vainshtein mechanism in Gauss-Bonnet gravity and Galileon aether'
http://arxiv.org/pdf/1107.1892

"the perturbations of the scalar field do not propagate in the Minkowski space-time but rather in some form of "aether" because of the presence of the background field"

Apologies MPC107

I just accidently ruined your post by pressing modify instead of quote.  Sorry about that.  I have removed it but if you post it again I will reply.

How embarassing lol.

No worries.

Objects are able to move through the aether because the aether is, or behaves similar to, a superfluid with properties of a solid; a supersolid.

Superfluids and supersolids are able to push back and exert inward pressure toward matter. There is no friction in the interaction and no loss of energy in the interaction.

The energy an object uses to displace the aether the aether returns to the object as the aether 'displaces back'.

Is the Earth displacing the aether or is the aether displacing the Earth? Both are occurring simultaneously with equal force.

Hey, 1WW, let it slide of your back like water from a duck, amigo...take a breather and try to become balanced again, we all have these moments from time to time, and we all are here with you as friends will be.

You are of strong mind, and dont let anything ruffle your feathers, mate.

Keeping you in my thoughts, friend.... :D
