looks like a kids toy of some kind

Yes, this one brings back memories. I thought at one time it might even be dragonflys mating in mid air.

I loaded this video and slowed it down and at .0280 when the object is in full frame, I noticed a black area behind the object that's different than the background. Don't know what it is but it looks suspecious to me.

I am going to guess a FA-18 Hornet.  Regardless it is a terrestrial aircraft IMO.

My backyard faces the New Orleans Naval Airstation here in Belle Chasse. I've seen 15's, 16's, 18's and Stealth bank over my house to land and nothing looks like that...Just me though....

Hi Sarge, nice to see you here. Did you notice that same dark outline is also going up to the line above the center or longer shaft. Almost looks like the end of an arrow where the feathers are.

I was filming the moon on an overcast night with my 70mm digital spotting scope/camera mounted on a tri-pod. I don't recall exactly why I walked away from the camera,
when I returned of course the moon was no longer in frame. I kept filming for at least a 1/2 hr or so,
then called it a night. The next day while watching the video is when i found this craft, I was so excited about what I just seen that I jumped the gun and uploaded it on Dtv .  http://www.disclose.tv/action/viewvideo/56013/UFO____Sept_21_2010/ . Big Mistake... which my friend Deuem quickly reminded me
with an private message, bringing me back down to earth. I will look for the original video, and upload it if you think it would help.
