Bear is a barfer, but his hygiene is meticulous even though he is old. I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with that. It must be frustrating.

I started a thread about this, but I'll recommend it again here. I bought a Bissell SpotBot Pet and a gallon of the Bissell Pet Stain & Odor Shampoo.

This thing is awesome. It deep cleans your rug. It has two brushes, one a stiff nylon bristle brush and one with rubber fingers. I fill it to just below the Water Line with the hottest water I can get out of the kitchen and add 2oz of H2O2 as a booster, then top it off to the Full Line with shampoo.

You cannot go wrong buying this thing. I use it every day. I pick up the chunkage, pre-treat with Mohawk Carpet Stain Cleaner (awesome stuff), place the SpotBot over the mess, and push the button. I always use the Set-In Stain button to get the most deep cleaning. The cycle lasts six minutes.

You can get three spot-cleans out of each tank. Bear always barfs twice in a row and not in the same spot, so I average six cycles per barf session.

I'm sure it would work on your problem.
