A truly enlightened one, is at peace with the world regardless of its issues or surroundings, and that allows one who is to help those who arent.
How about one who is at peace with themselves, in full knowledge that conflict is an inevitable part of existence.  Surely they are more enlightened?

Perhaps true inner peace only comes to us when we ACCEPT the truth.  Acceptance is bliss, NOT IGNORANCE.

acceptances isn't bliss either..it's just acceptance

all the fuss about everything we fuss about are just pieces of distraction
in finding the true/real reason we are here..now

so first you have accptance
and then...if you work at it or are in just the right place in the moment
you get knowledge

the ah-ha of being here...

then you can begin

I should have said acceptance comes before bliss to be fair.

Amaterasu

And what is it if You accept things - as in saying, "Yup, it really IS like that," and also see a solution?  Is acceptance a passive thing?  Like, "Yup, it really IS like that.  Now I will go be blissful..."  Or, having accepted facts, should We then strive to solve problems We see?

'Cause frankly...  Once I accepted things, I was not in bliss - I was determined to create changes for the better.  I am not in bliss, per se, fighting to bring the opportunity to ALL to pursue Their bliss.  I am Self-satisfied, though, as I see the word spread.

Was what I said.  I stand by it. :)

Amaterasu

Ah.  I am at peace with Myself, surely.  [smile]  My whole being is united in the goal of making any conflicts strictly interpersonal - as opposed to regional/national/etc.

This planet is deluded by masters of disinfo.  I aim to change that.

I just read the first link, knowing what I know now, I am glad that I am not at a 0 anymore. Alll I used to think about was money and working. It took me losing a lot to realize that we are working as slaves for a piece of paper. We should be enjoying life. Take the nature and what the world provides and what we are doing to it. I work my 9-5 now and i dont take the work home with me anymore. I lost so much time with family and friends just to work of a piece of paper. I am glad I have land that I can be away from people and just take in the real reason why we live. We live becasue earth has allowed us to live here. I tell people this and they think I am crazy but they will not accept the fact things are wrong and want to be sheep and stay on course with working for that piece of paper. Over these last two years I have realized this and have not felt the same like I used to.

PLAYSWITHMACHINES

I have a very low level of tolerance when it comes to accepting things :) yes, it's a flaw, i never said i was perfect.

I do NOT accept that we still have to burn oil to run our cars.
I do NOT accept that humans can still hurt other humans.

You're not alone, Amy, i'm standing right beside you 8)

A 'golden' statement Saturnm :)

I daresay you feel better than you used to, you have found some purpose in your life.
Go for it!!

I agree with the sentiment although I would change it to:

It is not right that humans still have to burn oil to run cars.
It is not right for humans to hurt other humans.

Unfortunately they still can.  War is also still legal, unfortunately.  War is basicall legalised mass murder.  Sick but true.

You can accept the way the world is but still want to change it, of course. Many inventors and scientists are examples of this type of person.  So are revolutionaries.

Amaterasu

Thank You, Luke.  Spreading the info to the tipping point is the first step, keeping it in Consciousness, and i surely cannot do it alone.  It's nice to know I have help.  [smile]

Aah, let's just say i have the right to not accept that it's not right....
???

I know Amy's right, info is the weapon of choice.
Get people informed, KEEP them informed, let them see the choices.
Then maybe they will start to think for themselves.

I'm not really the 'grab a gun & head for the hills' type (well maybe a little, but i've got no gun & the nearest hill is 60 miles away ;) )
Passive resistance is a way of 'not accepting' their control.
Getting to live off the land, generating our own energy etc is another way of 'not accepting' their system.

Energy is still the key issue here.
It's why the wars are still being fought, & why there is so much crap happening to people all over the world.
If we can get energy-independent, that whole system will collapse.

The collapsing part is the problem, i guess that's why we are all here?

Amaterasu

Luke, it won't collapse.  The cost of things will drop and drop until eventually the effort to collect the penny for (whatever) is more than the penny's worth, and things will be free.
