Both! LOL!

FB is a valuable tool to make connections, Twitter is a tool as well, for quick updates from various breaking news stories..both good if you dont let them control your every aspect of work.

Every outlet is important if one chooses to make the foray into generating income or support financially.

I'm pretty good at editing vids...  Need the software and a computer that can handle it, though.
Any computer can handle it if you don't use the heavy weights.
All my video editing is done with free software that works on any computer capable of running Windows XP, it just takes more time to do with slower computers. :)

Had to Gold ya for that!!! ROFL

The cloaking thing I have been following since in corresponds partly to why the Govt is mum on the subject of BF. The stinkers cloak, an ''we wanted it''. But the sentiment still stands.

You guys have been doing this for sooooo long newbies come in and are basically ''lost''. We have the same problem on our BF site....we forget newb's haven't been doing this for 40 yrs and so either we sound a little ''crazed'' or too clubby.

Yes FB is I swear ''the devil incarnate'' but posting  ''Peggy'' links there on select peoples pages will bring you the kind of posters and traffic you want.

If it's trolls you insist on just go start a thread over on JREF and link to here......

Someone once told me that they loved my anomaly videos and couldn't understand why I didn't have more 'views' on my YT channel. I only started the channel as a way to post my videos to PRC. I really didn't know of any other way. I see moon anomaly videos on YT all the time and most have good stuff but a lot have faked photos and they don't dwell on what was found actually. And usually they have what I call 'weird' music tucked in. These have thousands of views and mine only a few..So I thought and rightly so that my vids are just not 'professional' enough, or just down right boring. The other day I decided I'd do a little research on how to get more views. Besides paying for 'GET MORE HITS ON YOUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL', I found out that the title is everything!. So I changed all my video titles to 'MOON ANOMALIES', etc..etc... and low and behold, I got more views...(not a lot, but more) now I'm thinking of adding quotation marks around MOON ANOMALIES and see if that addition will get more attenditon. At the end of my videos I always credit John Lear and PRC, for without them I never would have posted or made videos about the moon. And the only reason, really I come here is to check for more moon photos and discussions about the moon. I post on some threads from time to time, but mostly I lurk and once in awhile when I'm feeling 'frisky', I'll get more involved in other threads. I quit visiting ATS a long time ago as the replies were often nasty and personal. I lurk at GLP only, and ONLY because John posts there on a regular basis. The PRC is a nice place to visit and I really look forward to checking out what everyone else has to say without a lot of useless crap..

Sorry for rambling....due to jet lag...just got back from Winlock, Washington visiting my grandkids...

"You make someone Else money with everything you do in life, why not get a bigger slice of the pie"  :D

I've read from time to time how much being a bit of a Youtube star can make one but never really looked at it till this weekend!

7k for one month is not too bad  :o 8)

Another thought...

Me and the better half just bought a swank new Samsung Smart TV which has a youtube app along with many other apps and a full web browser.  I wont get into how well its implemented compared to sitting on my PC as thats not the point.  The point is convergence and abilitys to get a message across and make coin rather than see that message make coin for other people, OR have morons make the story and bank coin which has been going on for Few years last I counted when I looked at life and thought "Hmmm that seems like I'm being sold a story... better check that out more"

Another example of not being paid that myself, biggles, mic and otter would know here on Peggy is The Force.  Whoever ran web backbone for that free forum is making serious coin having us discuss.

Getting the coin to content generators who deserve it is really what its all about.   :)

Bill Irvine from ATS will always quell any thoughts on what ATS is worth....  I realised this weekend how much ATS is worth and its way more than anyone could dream.  If i was morbid i may like to see the flag to coin ratio, but really i could not care spending time getting peed-up about ATS...  ATS provided a lesson for me considering people here provided much of their traffic through blood sweat and tears at some point.

Man commercial ventures never work like that, we have unions that fought for the rights of worker's.  ATS just milked it and never returned.

But I was wondering if maybe there is a way to set up a separate PRC forum..that allows all including Trolls... and trying to find  the more  better new suitable members and invite them into this main forum...

There ya go :D  And well it seems that we actually already have that... via serendipity. Because the old forum is still up and running, though no one has checked it since :P

http://www.thelivingmoon.com/forum/index.php?

Now that could be opened for all and we screen members to move over here :D

I will look at the rest of the replies shortly but yesterday we had a toilet back up. Called a plumber and what was supposed to be a $49.00 cleanout turned into a nightmare. When he tested the drains after the repair he turned on all the water upstairs which caused a back flow that spread over the ceiling of my office and I barely had time to cover the computer.

The water also shorted out the electrical in that part of the house.

Still haven't cleaned up  all the mess yet

So it will take me most of the day to catch up

Durian is an amusing individual.  I have been gratified to observe recently, that the online vegan community is moving more in the direction of individuals who do not see themselves as footsoldiers in a war against the evil carnivores, or are otherwise visibly mentally ill; and Durian is a good example of that trend.  Although the "30 bananas a day," meme is excessively and silly, occasionally he even dispenses nutritional advice that is genuinely somewhat reliable. ;)

Sounds like a good idea to me.

Sorry to hear about your plumbing problems.

My came from the Phillipines. She didnt realize that you couldnt put rice down the drain. It took 6 years to fill 45 FT of drain pipe up ang 6 hours with an electric snake to unclog it.
Guess that was off topic :-[
