Well, we always knew the 'net was a double-edged sword.

i guess if you had to compare the amount of useful traffic, like information, and the amount of sensless/debasing stuff like porn, gangsta music videos, psycho horror movies etc i'd say it was 100:1 in favour of the bad stuff  >:(

Yes that makes me angry, there is soo much good stuff on the 'net, but you have to work hard to find it.

I guess the 'net is a reflection of life itself.....
Lost in thought there.

robomont

lol, idiots think they can police a billion people.
trash in trash out.
servers burning up terrawatts on useless info.
make a bunch of virus bots printing china bad over and over to infinity.
release the bots into the system before id becomes totally inforcible.
ive never been much for rules.

idiots they may be..

but CONTROL they have.

They may not be able to block what WE see but they can certainly put the lock on inside...

Just got this yesterday from Deuem:

I don't know if you have kept up on the blocking here but they have started making it public knowledge. Even my Yahoo is now 50% blocked. It won't be long for this sites email fails. I feel the slow down is working now. They start by turning sites reaction time down. Most people think it is connection problems and move on. Sneaky but effective. Turn it down 1 or 2% a day. Ween the baby. For some reason, last week I got on for a few minutes and was able to leave a message. A moment later I was tossed off. I see I am still logged on. Maybe that looks false. I am not. I hope you won some bets on the end of the world countdown. We are all still here. If you were here and saw the weather you might have been a little worried. It was like night time all day with a weird look to the sky. Had it again today. Simple explanation. Pollution...

Have a good New Years, Say hi to the gang...

I will share a few more emails from him as he cannot post or access the forum;

I will try the vp tunnel. You see with out a proxie you can not see other proxies, they are all blocked.

Zorgon;
Ah well I can send you a list pf proxy links if that will help

If you can send it I will try.

My service thinks if they can ping the next town over and get a high number they have done their job. I told them if I wanted anyone in the next town I would just go there. I have now refused to pay them so I guess I will be cut off soon. To me it seems that they have over sold the wires by 1,000 percent. If I get on line at 3am it is all fine. The school across the street has now added over 10,000 net plugs to the overloaded line. They mostly net local China or worse they all use the cam phones. So all the bandwidth is sucked up. Now they play the GB game. At 1gb I could watch 6 movies on line at once. Now I can not watch even one and I am at 6gb. With 6gb it should be done before I start. Basicaly the only thing they know how to do is to collect money. Either all of that or they have a wire that is now down to one strand. They use the phone lines with the very small thin wires. They mount it to the building with knots in the wire attached to anything.

With the elec tion of the new g o v here, all url links with the word "For um" in it have been ban ned. I don't know if this is forever but I would guess so. They are stopping any activity they can not control. Now what fears they have, I don't know. As you know some for ums are very bad and talk about the worst of things.

All my friends with paid tunnels have the same problem. One with the lexis forum. It is also shut down.

Any back doors? with out the word for um.  If not then it was a fun ride while it lasted.

By the way, this email site I use was also ban ned for new members. I only can get in because I had a password from before. I don't know if they will kill that also.

Fun days ahead.

Hi Ron, the word blo g was been ba nned long before for ums. They have been off line for at least 5 or more years, maybe longer.  I don't know if this is an easy thing or very hard. Just need the fo rum page without that word. Call it anything. You know if you tried it I would be the only one on it so you could watch me.

I did get on yesterday with my best prox until I hit something and the page refreshed and the URL took over and I went off line. This is what the world has to look forward too. It is instant Ron. And as I say, they don't even have the balls to put up a page telling you. So everyone is guessing on what happened. Line speed, bad connection or so on. We have put computers side by side and watched the difference.

But in country, speed is there, and very fast, yet all sites are well controlled. Everybody is afraid of everybody now a days. Hey I see you have 4 more years of that guy agian. by the time he is over the states will be the same. All articles of the election and after were also taken off line and you got sent to the dungen if you clicked on one. I just read that they are passing a bill that allows them to look at every email with no wa rr ents. They do your phone and text now, so they need your email next. I guess they have nothing else to do.

Take care, Deuem

For your info the spelling errors are deliberate so his emails get through. I had to use a similar methods when using certain words or phrases at ATS (yes they DO robo snoop and block u2u's :P )

zorgon

Hi Ron, The forum site AA or Alien Anomalies uses the URL name "activeboard" and I have no problems getting on line. Even without a proxie. HUM?  http://alienanomalies.activeboard.com/

So your not only being blocked but add banned to the list from here.  I wonder how the rest of the locals are getting on line with you. Thor was saying his area got hit many times from China. Do you know how they do it?

Deuem

So effectively Pegasus and LivingMoon are blocked in China. I knew this before. We are also blocked in Iran and Pakistan... those two I also know for certain but people in both those countries were able to use a proxy to view the sites

Point is we are NOT being seen in those three nations for certain and who knows how many others. The Google analytics world map shows no traffic in many countries. Even ATS has this issue

robomont

heck, the unlimited internet service on my straighttalk phone is like that and im here in texas.
looks like china is going to kill the www.

like spoiled little children, well take your toys and go home baby.
i think they call it isolationism and the usa is doing it to.
my visa debit card got blocked from buying products from great britain last month.
the excuse was the feds are trying to stop terrorism.
so turn up the pressure until the system blows and all the pensioners and trust fund babies get let holding the bag.

as long as we have half the population on the dole ,we use them to justify the govs existence. because we dont want granny and the disabled vets to lose their checks.

notice how russia hasnt said nuttin about anything for a while.
i wonder how they view china in these weird times.

Sounds bad, Z...
We really need a radio net-link. I'm sure there's plenty of smart people both here & there who could do it....
Give our regards to D3u3m, tell him we miss him at PRC.
Later.....

Maybe a teamspeak channel could work...We used to run game servers with comms using this for years. There is even a module for Nuke PhP that shows when clients are on and could be viewed on the sidebar.

I am starting to really think a long the lines of SW inter net wireless tech here. I am a big fan of SW bandwidths, hear everything thing from anywhere, now if we can see if PWM, LE, Z, TheJanitor, Back, TMT and a few others here can get it put together.

The brains are here, I just don't want D3u3m too pay the price for us missing his company, when this goes down, especially here in the U s A there is going to be an uprising, but the trickle effect is what they are doing , I am sure, taking little pieces at a time.

There has too be a better more efficient way to keep him on, and others, but absolutely wireless. Any ideas PWM, LE?

Will be something if we can folks.

back in the nineties there were two encryption systems out there .
one was pgp and i dont remember the other ones name but i think it was from europe or the neatherlands.
anyway a story i read was the gov forced pgp to give up it key but the other company didnt because they werent american.
that other one might be the way if the key hasnt got out or was broken.
you might research cryptome on google for ideas.

laser could be used for a line of sight connection.

SO the best thing we could do is have a site mirror based in China for the Good Stuff!

Although I am hitched to Taiwan and thats another whole kettle of worms in regards to Mandarin Speaking people one thing thing is for sure...  I think there is a healthy audience for topics that have been well researched and covered on Zee Moon.  No doubt at all that spooks on all sides view the snippets some have shared and said keep an eye out for em LOL

Are China providing a platform for Insiders to get the info out there ?   ;D

We checked out re. blocking Zee Moon in China, but this site can be accessed from China and hasn't been blocked, well up until yesterday anyway.

Perhaps it may be an individual thing, but I doubt they would go to the trouble, as there are more than 4.5 billion people in China.

Probably more to do with unreliable tech.

My wife communicates with China up to a few hours a day, and she has had no problems re. being blocked etc.

As D3u3m has said; Often wiring is tied to lamp posts and buildings. And he ain't wrong...
You have to see it, to believe it.

When you see power extension cords, existing as a "twisted pair" and joining such together is done by twisting wires (220 V) together, then using insulating tape to cover the joins, then one can understand.

Often these extension cords are lying across footpaths, to chargers charging up electric cycles etc.

"Power Cuts" were the norm. as well as TV Com. cuts, which is cable in most areas.

To understand you really need to spend some months or years in China.

What D3u3m was referring to...  LOL.

and state of the art taxi services.

There is extreme poverty in China as well as in the U.S. and other Countries. But there are very beautiful areas as well...

We need to keep a balanced view, regarding other Countries and take everything into Account.

We find what we look for I guess ?

There is Corruption in every Gov. as well as in the public sector on Earth, so this must be kept in mind.

I still look forward to going back to China again, as there are many good points about this country too.

When I lived in China for more than 9 Months I used the Internet on a daily bases, connecting with western sites, and never came across this problem.

Neither did I have any issues with "Freedom of Speech", contrary to others beliefs. (outside China)
