not off the top of my head, but you might enjoy the various translations of the pyramid texts.

Sanctuary had an episode on kali and she was a spider woman who could destroy the planet. They did a kali dance and I thought the choreograph was done rather well.

As to how they broke the language into meaning, they used an age old technique on repeating symbols like code breakers do to this day.

yeah the over head of the scene shows them forming the wormhole diagram, a double ended funnel with a singularity point in the middle, represented by the guy yelling kali's name

Yes, Ma corresponds with spiders.  I've had a number of near misses with spiders myself, where I most likely should have been bitten, but wasn't.  Although I'm also normally somewhat arachnophobic, there was occasion where, because I had been doing regular japa and puja, I was able to pick up a Huntsman spider and put it outside without fear.

The above is a photo of a statue identical to my current one.  You can probably see the arachnid resemblance quite clearly.

Also, Undo may be partially correct about Kali's correspondence with Hathor.  From memory Hathor's head was shaped like the female vagina, if the intersection with the legs was also included.

The mass of Kali's hair also resembles the shape of the Vesica piscis, or open vagina.

As well as possible geometric/mathematical symbols, we have here a reminder of women as the source of life, as Undo said.  I sometimes do not like acknowledging that, simply because I feel that it is already done so by feminist propaganda, and that in their case, they do it as a means of devaluing men; or implying that the female gender is the only one that is necessary, and that men are essentially redundant.

If I am focusing primarily on Kali however, I feel no such reticence; because I believe that she values men as well, so it is not self-destructive for me to likewise value and acknowledge her.  Quite the contrary, in fact.

I don't know what "vesica" translates to but "piscis" is fish.

Looked up the whole phrase. Vesica piscis translates to "fish bladder".

there were state religions in ancient times, that focused almost entirely on sex and reproduction.  prostitution was a lofty profession, given religious sanctity like a catholic nun.  the entire concept that the gate and wormhole were representative of a celestial womb, is not outside their normal view of the meaning of life at the time.

watch this!

the entire show was available back when google had their own video section. now that it's all on youtube, only the first part is available, as you can see it says 1 of 5.

they discovered that every galaxy has a super massive black hole at the center and they are what created the universe.  so the theme of things being created by something like wormholes/black holes/white holes, is just now being reintroduced to the common curriculum, but was originally already common knowledge, 6000 years ago and likely older than that

the video is now posted on the last page of the thread you referenced.
i dunno about the pupils in the hathor pic.  the ears are cow ears (some representations were cat ears).  did you see my posts on the subject of the evolution of the gate symbols in egypt?

the earliest example was from hathor's precursor, simply named bat.  it was not a picture of a bat, however. hehe.
the symbol evolved into the bull's horn crown that gods and goddesses were often depicted wearing in the burial chambers of pharaohs.  a red disk surmounted between bull's horns.

you can see the earliest example here
http://ancientegyptonline.co.uk/bat.html

and a whole page on the evolution of the bat symbol into the hathor cow's head
http://xoomer.virgilio.it/francescoraf/hesyra/palettes/gerzeh.htm

the bat symbol mimicked the arm positioning of beings on ancient vases from places like abydos and other ancient statues.   i'll see if i can find a link for you
