So now we have at least TWO odd looking OOPART 'rocks' in the same area. I am willing to bet its some ancient parts of something :D

And don't forget THIS one from Jim Garvin of NASA

 armap;
I gave you numbers for two images taken from different positions.
   they are
     2012-10-10 16 50 50 utc
     2012-10-10 16 51 23 utc     found on sol 64
these are  the only two I know of.

I know I am beating a dead horse, but have you considered that
the rover images we are privileged to see, are not from mars ??

excellent, Gigas, more food for thought... I just cannot readily accept that this is a piece of nature untouched, fashioned, or shaped by anything other than
intelligent design...

Gray scale for Robo

What ever is right to the right of this looks like it used to sit on it.

Can anyone pick it up and place it back where it maybe broke off of?

zorgon

I thought Sgt  did that?

robomont

thankyou deuem.feeling generous .gold for you.
im still of the belief its a intelligent design.but to play devils advocate for a moment.lets say its just mineral formation.i only know of two ways that peice could have moved that far is by wind or frost heave.if its wind then there are some real strong winds on mars to move it that far or mars has plenty of water .for frost to move it.

another strange thing about it is its color doesnt match the surroundings.
i think before we send folks to mars we need to send a drone to go around and hide all these anomalies so we can continue with the status quo.we wouldnt want a rebellion when the truth came out.plus we dont want mars colony bribing us with alien tech.
resistance should be futile for the colonist.lol.
ive never been much for rules.
being me has its priviledges.

I pulled the original image into a program I have and ran 'detect contours' effect on it and this is what I got.
What this tells me is that the object in question is one solid piece. Probably a rock or tolet seat or Stargate Dialer. You decide..
