Hope you took photos?

Dang, well nextime.

:'(

Ok, a story.

I have a freind, her hubbie got tired of buying
a turkey every year so he thought he would
just start his own turkey farm.

Yep, he went out and caught a bunch of
wild turkeys, young ones....and spent a fortune
on feed, other issues but still one by
one they all but one kicked the bucket.

The last one they managed to keep alive
for the big meal. Well turns out the thing
was stringy, not quite edible or tasty....

I guess the moral of the story is
you can take the turkey out of the wild
but you cant take the wild out of the turkey.

Sometimes one is better off with some
jerkey, and some bourbon.

Cheers

Talk about wild turkeys.  Back in the day when I was riding Dirt Bikes. We had a large field near us that had tons of them [wild turkeys]. If they were at the start end of the field they would take flight and fly down the field by our sides. The race was on till the woods came up and then they split up. If they flew down the trail one would follow the other until they got tired and picked a tree.

Big birds in flight are quite a sight from a few feet. If no chicks are around they eat in the fields and sleep in the trees. Low trees that is. Just high enough to take flight. Turkey races, haha lol

By the way, we were not picking on them or chasing them. They just took flight and flew with us. Maybe they were bored? They seemed to enjoy it. In such a huge field they would stay right with us.

LOL, well I think this is why some folks get referred to
as "turkeys"....

Had occasion to witness first hand roving 'rafter'
of wild turkeys, they are really bored creatures
I imagine just my observation from what they do;
roam the neighborhood, then find the picket fence...
they all line up on the fence and then one by
one ( biggest baddest turkey first) fly up to the
roof of the house...they line up there on the
ridge and then one by one fly down again!

;D ;D

Turkeys!

@sky otter

Hey Z,

I wonder now if after the alien invasions if that kind
