i don't think it's because she doesn't want to, i think life has beaten the crap out of her and it's just going take some family like boosting up *(which may or may not include fussing hehe) to get her started on the right track for her.  now i think from reviewing her answers,  that she really does want to get her book going. it's just gonna take some brain work to get it off the ground.  i think putting it on amazon was probably a bad choice.  now that i recall that they basically steal all your sales lol

take the book off amazon and relist it as a slightly used digital copy on the resale side of amazon. hehe

i don't know what it's like now, but 30 years ago, publisher's wanted outlines,summaries with chapter titles page, rather than the whole book, so they could review it and it's not easy getting published.  now days, you could probably just link the kindle lol

When I was looking for publishers, all the houses said:  send Your manuscript, double-spaced, to [street address].  I was hoping for an online submission form - Analog changed over to online forms about a year ago...that's why I sent it to Them.  (Checked again today; My submission is still open and pending...  And it's actually been three months since I sent it.  They say 3-4 months, so I'm still hanging on that.)

i was thinking, if you present the abundance paradigm with a futuristic approach and not just the underlying communism theme, you would likely glean more interest in it simply because people like all that space stuff.  have a snappy intro like "in the future, robots will do the work, while we live our dreams"  or something like that..  you could even include a preface about the moral question regarding the enslavement of artificial intelligence.

There is no communism theme...  BIG difference between "From Each according to ability; to Each according to need," and "From Each according to gifts; to Each according to request."  This is abundancism, NOT a scarcity paradigm solution like communism or socialism or capitalism.

do you have another book in  ya?  i know when i have a book in my head, and when i don't.  and even then it can be an uphill battle. i have a very short attention span when it comes to tedious things.  detail is good but not boring detail

Whatever, sky.  I have ZERO recollection of any publishers suggested by You.  Yeah, I don't want to work - except My butt off trying to pull Humanity out of the mess We're in for the sake of all the children, My daughter included.

I WILL work when I get the wherewithal.  I will move to do so.  But yeah.  I'm just sitting around with My thumb up My butt.

Pffft.  4-6 hours a day applying to jobs, for nearly a decade....  Yeah.  Not trying at all.

That doesn't really work...  I would have a Word file to offer.  There is no item, really.  To get it off Amazon, I have to take it off Kindle.  And all I am left with is My original Word doc.

I am very good at writing short pieces - and the novella alone took three months plus to write - and I did virtually nothing else.  But, no, I really don't have another book inside.

Hoping another will come along.

sometimes it pours when it rains and sometimes it floods when it rains and pours and sometimes there's a dang hurricane and a few tornadoes tossed in to boot.. 

when z lost his job, at the same time, his wife did as well.  they were subsisting on very little money. his body was falling apart AND that's when his car broke down.  his wife couldn't look for a job cause they had no vehicle

you have the same streak going on.  poor health, no vehicle, no job offers, no phone and no money. 

i think reviewing what items are good sellers for auction houses like etsy, might be a really good option for you as a supplemental .  you can research it all from your comp then surf ebay and see if someone has any of the items listed for cheap.

either way, you're gonna need a credit union account so you can actual benefit from the sales of your book. amazon ripped ya off, as far as i'm concerned

to change ANY program to a new paradiam you have to work with the existing system
in order to create a new one
with your tech skills you should have already realized this

that you think you are working your fingers to the bone suggests you are not aware
of how things are made to happen
and your claims of the number of jobs applied  for makes me question your math skills on more than one level
70000..at 10 a day that would still take you 19+ years
and i have a hard time believing you could find that many jobs TO apply for on line or otherwise

i'm really good at getting a website up on the first page of a search engine.  usually not at the top, but i can get it on first page usually.
