Most "aware" people in the world today are just waiting for the "other shoe to drop". They, those awake and aware, all "feel", or see and accept some evidence that points to "something big" about to happen. I also admit that it could still be a few years off. But, it could also be happening right now.

Yes, "advanced technologies" would seem to be magic, or miracles, to a less advanced society. That is a proven fact. Our level of advanced technology now allows us to see quite clearly the "foot prints" throughout history of the ET presence. The conspiracy to keep this a secret is a joke. Yet, it also serves it's purpose. Mankind, each and every one that has ever lived, had to be tested. Why? Because we are all individuals and given not just a brain to question and figure things out, but the free will to act as we want. That "testing" is about over. How can I know this?

When mankind has reached the level of technology, as we now have, we are able to recognize ETs throughout history, and they know it. All the mythologies, religions, folklore, legends and tales have been hiding the interactions of the ETs with mankind.

Some of us now know better. Some of us have found the hidden document from ET that has been under our noses for thousands of years that explains it all. It was just religionized to hide it.

I might have missed an introduction, so first let me say hello and Welcome.

I for one am very interested in your thoughts about all of this,
as I am sure many of us here on Peggy have interest.

As to unexpected change, I am hopeful about the E-Cat technology.

I'm on a blog list with some Ph.D's who keep up with the situation daily.  You have the mainstream academics running around with their fingers in their ears while repeating the same tired nonsense over and over about 'scams', etc.

At the same time, there are real engineers and scientists in Italy, Sweden and the US moving forward with replications.  There is also a venture capital firm (Cherokee) now backing one group.

In short, it starts to look like the "Wright Brothers" all over again.  I hope.

The problem with that is that some people created great expectations about it, but we are still waiting for their "working system" to be proven as working.

Rossi's  Nickel-H2 technology is the hands of other scientists and engineers.  He had backing from Italian scientists such as Focardi and Piantelli.

A venture capital group named Cherokee (including a millionaire named Thomas Darden) is trying to build out the technology in connection with the Chinese.  Defkalion did a whole live streaming demo some months back which I watched.  Brillioun is most likely to create a working utility with it.

He based his energy calculations on turning all the water into steam, dry steam.

But he wouldn't let anyone see the outlet, which went conveniently into a drain.

Nor was the temp of the steam measured, normal 'steam' that you get from a kettle at 99.9 degrees is mostly water droplets, not real steam (which is invisible, not like kettle steam).

Now to heat the water just a few more degrees to get REAL steam takes 7 times more energy.

So Rossi's calculations could be out by a factor of 7

He had the huge electric heaters running right through the experiment, i saw the current diagrams, it was using just as much juice as it was putting out, maybe 7 times more in view of the above statement.

If we can get to measure the volume, flow-rate, AND the temperature of the 'steam' then we will have a much clearer picture.

Given Rossi's scandalous past enterprises, i'm sorry but i don't think it's going anywhere.

Again, this technology is not simply "Rossi's".  Defkalion is building it out.  Brillouin is building it out. Industrial Heat, LLC has bought rights to it and has Darden's ($) backing. And again, Rossi had backing from real University physics professors in Italy.

In one demonstration, the reaction chamber was observed to be incandescently yellow. 

Irving Langmuir discovered an odd heat reaction with atomic hydrogen (i.e. not h2) about 70 years ago that could melt tungsten. I see this current claim (involving Nickel) as part of that anomaly. This anomaly is something J. Naudin has also experimented with.

I feel the effect is real but a practical powerplant needs to be built.
