Most hilarious news I've read for a while  :D

Quote"You just don't invade another country on phony pretext in order to assert your interests," John Kerry said during an interview with NBC's Meet the Press. "This is an act of aggression that is completely trumped up in terms of its pretext. It's really 19th century behaviour in the 21st century."

Kerry has also threatened to isolate Russia economically and politically and warned of potential asset freezes and visa bans, adding to media and political hype that followed Russia authorization of sending a stabilization force in Crimea on official request from the authorities.

Although Kerry was never challenged by the interviewer to comment in terms of that statement on Washington's own constant threats to use force and military invasions in Iraq and Afghanistan, those who watched the interview immediately smelled the hypocrisy

I don't think I need to say much more.. Apart from thank the Americans for a good laugh  ;)

yes that was funny ;D

Of course you need a pretext to invade someone, it's no good saying "Oh, we see you have plenty of oil, can we have some?". That never works :D

Sgt.Rocknroll

Perpetuating the myth!!!!

Fact:

"Iraq has provided the United States with approximately 14.3 million barrels of oil out of a total of about 298 million barrels imported, or 4.8 percent of our total imports."

as of 2012....

Is oil a major factor in western military plans? Absolutely!... But at least get the facts straight!...

well since american colonialism is just british and vatican colonialism in disguise, and all in the name of a new world order of whatever the heck it is, i also find it ironic but for a totally different reason.

I'm sure Putin got one hell of a good laugh from Kerry's comment.

You guys are priceless ;D

Well europe is not too happy, we buy a lot of gas from Russia, now they are talking sanctions etc, but we are getting a lot of extra gas from our own poiticians ::)

The EU and Russian economies are pretty tight.  I don't think the EU will push for any kind of embargo to punish Russia, it would just hurt the EU as well.  Putin has a strong hand right now.  We'll see how this plays out.

it's a staged drama.  none of the posturing and hand-wringing is real.  they are all friends at the top. they share sensitive data with each other, they allow each other to spy on each other's citizens, they even help cover up planetary anomalies.   if you don't believe it, just watch this and learn

My (natural) gas comes from Algeria, so Portugal and Spain are the only EU countries (I think) that would not be affected by a gas embargo.
