Down here we call em' hurricane lamps' . No home is complete without one. Spent my summers at my grandma's farm in Hackberry La. I know how to live without modern utensils. Didn't have A/C until I was 17 in 67'.

The Seeker

I spent a month out in the desert outside Quartsite Arizona back in 2003, just my partner Charlie, our camping gear, no electric or generator, no running water or inside facilities of any kind, just us, the desert, our base camp we set up, and enjoyed the hell out of it...

but also I am not a 'sportsman': I eat what I catch and grew up on a farm...

how uncivilized of me...
