I suspect Global Research is a Russian propaganda site. It's about as independent as RT (formerly Russia Today).  ;)

Very possible Pimander, it is based out of Canada.   It is difficult these days for one to pick their way through the Propaganda Mills of not only Russia, but also of Europe and the US. I suppose it just turns into a personal desire of which ""Slant" one wants to feed. But then, I read it all anyway , it does not mean that there are not any "nuggets" to be found.

Here is the original article site. I don't think that anyone can dispute that it is a Marxist site. But does not mean the time and place of the German Call to being War Prepared is in any way wrong.

Agreed.  Any source can be useful if you read with a critical eye. :)

So, Deutsche Welle is offering a helpful checklist of things to stockpile?

I find Russian news very useful in that they will report things that the Western media doesn't - particularly if it is negative in regard to US/EU politics.  Sometimes, it goes beyond that - I was reading the latest news about McCain's primary battle on RT when it was happening while I couldn't find anything on Yahoo, Drudge or MSN.

Funny how we still get only articles from before the document being published.

Now that we have access to the document we should have more sources pointing to all those things, right?

Again, Deutsche Welle seems up to date, current and fully running with the emergency stockpile story.
I didn't see any signs that that was published after August 25.

seems to be 8-25-16.  That's not good enough?
Not really, it's just some man talking to some woman (that, apparently, didn't know about this).

Unfortunately, as I don't speak German I cannot confirm some of things directly. I will check latter. :)

Here is another article from the BBC on the 22nd of August. It really does not say, much at all , just the "event happened" What I do find troubling in the other posted articles is the the hint that Germany is into rebuilding its army. I do not take even a hint, well. How soon we forget our past!

Germans told to stockpile food and water for civil defence
