Well, those menus look like indexes, so instead I was thinking that with a list with 3 elements for each page (title, URL and level on the menu) it would be easy to create those menus automatically. You would need to add extra text and images manually, but the tedious work would be done by the computer, after all that's what they were created for.

To create that list mentioned above you would need to get all the pages catalogued and classified, something that could also be (at least partially) automated, with a program acting like a kind of Web spider, reading the pages and finding keywords in them to classify them, either on the title or on the content.

I am becoming skeptical about the Breakaway Civilization idea - or at least its supposed best example - flying triangles.

They seem to have been around for more than a century,  they show up and screw around in ways that should get someone court martialed (Belgium) and often behave in a manner consistent with other UFO's as described by Vallee ( half real, half hallucination).  Seems more alien than human.
