It's hard to say what the exact solution is.  While Britain seems better, you have Tony Blair and the Iraq War. Hard to understand how that happened.

I'd go further, it is intellectual cowardice not to question what you believe.  What is there to be afraid of if it isn't the truth?

What kind of position is it to say, "Even if what I believe is contradicted by evidence because I have faith"?  Grade A nonsense!  If I did that I would be torn to shreds.

That is the difference I suppose.  The whole point of Science is to question and test ideas.  Dogma is the enemy of truth in any field of though, even Theism.

This whole Podesta/ET thing, in my opinion thing , Stinks of political subterfuge. Last night George Knapp made an excited appearence with George Noorey re: the exciting information from the Leaks. I have a real problem with Knapp as he has been talking up Podesta/ Hillary ET thing way Before any "Leaks" took place, and I know his heavy liberal leanings. The danger here as most might suspect is that Knapp is a big name, his "Credibility" in the ET world is just about beyond reproach. That's a lot of "swaying " power, if you ask me! I am going to go out on a limb here to say that Knapp had piror contact and knowledge way before The Leaks.

If ET becomes nothing but a political ploy, the whole subject becomes tainted and MORE allusive than ever before known!

There is no new information in the Podesta Leaks. Mitchell was the only credible name in the whole thing, most of us UFO "nuts" knew what he was up to.  AND he is no longer around to verify any thing with.

Duct tape fixes many things   I hear it saved an Apollo 13 crew and got them back from the moon... (if you believe such faerie tales )

But yes most theists will divert the question when you ask and real hard question. It is frustrating but also funny at times.
