So a regular microwave oven puts out 750 (small one) to 1000 (normal) watts...

A cell tower puts out 1000 watts per channel.  Climb a tower you get fried same as sticking your head into that oven (I would recommend doing neither :P)

So the 5G is merely a different frequency

The caveat here is that microwaves travel LINE OF SITE  So since the wave length is shorter in 5G you will need more relay points in order for the signal to work

I was not implying any thing, but the danger from 5G is the same that existed before with the use of those frequencies, as they are not new.

For example, one of the new (for cellphone use) frequencies is known as "K band" and has been used by amateur radio operators. Another one, the "Ka band" is used mostly to communicate with satellites and in some radars.

As zorgon said above, the danger lies in the power used and the distance from the antenna, like in any other radio system. As 5G is a short distance communication system the power used is low.

PS: radio is not really an area in which I have more than a little knowledge, but I would the opinion of someone that was an amateur radio operator. :)

No he , as am I , is saying the danger is the same as any other frequency of microwave  5G means 5 gigahertz as opposed to the current 2.5 gigahertz

If anything it will be less dangerous because the range is shorter and it carries tons MORE data for the same energy output (bandwidth)

Similar idea as an old modem carried 56K transfer speed and today a good internet connection can handle multiple lines at the same time with 300M rate for less power than the single line 56K modem

BTW what I find really amusing is that people claim they are hiding cell towers with fake tree branches :P Well no, it is merely an attempt to make them a little more aesthetic in a neighbor hood  No one is fooled LOL

As the old saying goes, give us an inch and inevitably we'll want a mile. And certainly, this sentiment is true with technology.

Who doesn't want faster, bigger (or smaller), more efficient? Take wireless mobile telecommunications. Our current broadband cellular network platform, 4G (or fourth generation), allows us to transmit data faster than 3G and everything that preceded. We can access information faster now than ever before in history. What more could we want? Oh, yes, transmission speeds powerful enough to accommodate the (rather horrifying) so-called  Internet of Things. Which brings us to 5G.

Until now, mobile broadband networks have been designed to meet the needs of people. But 5G has been created with machines' needs in mind, offering low-latency, high-efficiency data transfer. It achieves this by breaking data down into smaller packages, allowing for faster transmission times. Whereas 4G has a fifty-millisecond delay, 5G data transfer will offer a mere one-millisecond delay–we humans won't notice the difference, but it will permit machines to achieve near-seamless communication. Which in itself  may open a whole Pandora's box of trouble for us – and our planet.


More bandwidth – more dangers of 5G
Let's start with some basic background on 5G technology. Faster processing speeds require more bandwidth, yet our current frequency bandwidths are quickly becoming saturated. The idea behind 5G is to use untapped bandwidth of the extremely high-frequency millimeter wave (MMW), between 30GHz and 300GHz, in addition to some lower and mid-range frequencies.

High-frequency MMWs travel a short distance. Furthermore, they don't travel well through buildings and tend to be absorbed by rain and plants, leading to signal interference. Thus, the necessary infrastructure would require many smaller, barely noticeable cell towers situated closer together, with more input and output ports than there are on the much larger, easier to see 4G towers. This would likely result in wireless antennas every few feet, on every lamp post and utility pole in your neighborhood.

Here are some numbers to put things into perspective: as of 2015, there were 308,000 wireless antennas on cell towers and buildings. That's double the 2002 number. Yet 5G would require exponentially more, smaller ones, placed much closer together, with each emitting bursts of radio-frequency radiation (RFR)–granted, at levels much lower than that of today's 4G cell towers–that will be much harder to avoid because these towers will be ubiquitous. If we could see the RFR, it would look like a smog that's everywhere, all the time.


Serious health concerns
First, it's important to know that in 2011, the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer classified RFR as a potential 2B carcinogen and specified that the use of mobile phones could lead to specific forms of brain   tumors.
Many studies have associated low-level RFR exposure with a litany of health effects, including:

  • DNA single and double-strand breaks (which leads to cancer)

  • oxidative damage (which leads to tissue deterioration and premature aging)

  • disruption of cell metabolism

  • increased blood-brain barrier permeability

  • melatonin reduction (leading to insomnia and increasing cancer risks)

  • disruption of brain glucose metabolism

  • generation of stress proteins (leading to myriad diseases)
      
As mentioned, the new 5G technology utilizes higher-frequency MMW bands, which give off the same dose of radiation as airport scanners.

The effects of this radiation on public health have yet to undergo the rigors of long-term testing.

Adoption of 5G will mean more signals carrying more energy through the high-frequency spectrum, with more transmitters located closer to people's homes and workplaces–basically a lot more (and more potent) RFR flying around us. It's no wonder that apprehension exists over potential risks, to both human and environmental health.

Perhaps the strongest concern involves adverse effects of MMWs on human skin. This letter to the Federal Communications Commission, from Dr Yael Stein of Jerusalem's Hebrew University, outlines the main points. Over ninety percent of microwave radiation is absorbed by the epidermis and dermis layers, so human skin basically acts as an absorbing sponge for microwave radiation. Disquieting as this may sound, it's generally considered acceptable so long as the violating wavelengths are greater than the skin layer's dimensions. But MMW's violate this condition.

Furthermore, the sweat ducts in the skin's upper layer act like helical antennas, which are specialized antennas constructed specifically to respond to electromagnetic fields. With millions of sweat ducts, and 5G's increased RFR needs, it stands to reason that our bodies will become far more conductive to this radiation. The full ramifications of this fact are presently unclear, especially for more vulnerable members of the public (e.g., babies, pregnant women, the elderly), but this technology.


Other distressing research
Unfortunately, innocent animals have already been the victims of testing to see MMW's effects on living cells. Extrapolating the results from animal testing to humans isn't straightforward, but the results nonetheless raise some serious red flags. Perhaps most significantly, a US National Toxicology Program study noted that male rats exposed to RFR for nine hours a day over two years developed rare forms of tumours in the brain and heart, and rats of both sexes developed DNA damage.

The researchers noted that the increased risk to the rats was relatively small; but if these findings translate to humans, the widespread increase in cellphone use could have a significant impact on populations. Thus the NTP study served to renew the debate about the potential harmful effects of cellphones on human health. Not only that, it caused a significant shift in the American Cancer Society's understanding of radiation and cancer, and sparked them to state that our ignorance of RFR's impact on human health could be compared to our previous obliviousness to the connection between smoking and lung cancer.

Other animal research worldwide illustrates how microwave radiation in general and MMW's in particular can damage the eyes and immune system, cell growth rate, even bacterial resistance. An experiment at the Medical Research Institute of Kanazawa Medical University showed that 60GHz millimeter-wave antennas produce thermal injuries in rabbit eyes, with thermal effects reaching below the eye's surface. This study, meanwhile, suggests low-level MMW's caused lens opacity–a precursor to cataracts–in rats' eyes. A Chinese study demonstrated that eight hours' of microwave radiation damaged rabbits' lens epithelial cells. A Pakistani study concluded that exposure to mobile phone EMF prevented chicken embryo retinal cells from properly differentiating.

This Russian study revealed that exposing healthy mice to low-intensity, extremely high-frequency electromagnetic radiation severely compromised their immune systems. And a 2016 Armenian study concluded that low-intensity MMW's not only depressed the growth of E. coli and other bacteria, but also changed certain properties and activity levels of the cells. The same Armenian study noted that MMW interaction with bacteria could lead to antibiotic resistance–distressing news, considering immunity to bacteria is already compromised due to the overuse of antibiotics.

Again, if these findings translate to humans, our rampant cellphone use would likely cause profound, adverse health effects; an increase in MMW's as more bandwidth is introduced could further complicate the matter.

But what's also important to note here is that 5G technologies will not only have a profound impact on human health, but on the health of all living organisms it touches, including plants, as we shall see.


5G harms the planet, too
Equally disturbing, 5G technology puts environmental health at risk in a number of ways. First, MMWs may pose a serious threat to plant health. This 2010 study showed that the leaves of aspen seedlings exposed to RFR exhibited symptoms of necrosis, while another Armenian study suggested low-intensity MMW's cause "peroxidase isoenzyme spectrum changes"–basically a stress response that damages cells–in wheat shoots. Plant irradiation is bad news for the planet's flora, but it's bad news for us, too: it could contaminate our food supply.

Second, the 5G infrastructure would pose a threat to our planet's atmosphere. Network implementation will require the deployment of many, short-lifespan satellites via suborbital rockets propelled by hydrocarbon rocket engines. According to this 2010 California study, launching too many of these babies will vomit enough black carbon into the atmosphere to pollute global atmospheric conditions, affecting distribution of ozone and temperature. Worse, solid-state rocket exhaust contains chlorine, an ozone-destroying chemical. How can any government seriously concerned about climate change allow for this?

Third, 5G will potentially threaten natural ecosystems. According to several reports over the last two decades–some of which are summarized here–low-level, non-ionizing microwave radiation affects bird and bee health. It drives birds from their nests and causes plume deterioration, locomotion problems, reduced survivorship and death. And bee populations suffer from reduced egg-laying abilities of queen bees and smaller colony sizes. More evidence of ecosystem disruption comes from this 2012 meta-study, which indicates that 593 of 919 research studies suggest that RFR adversely affects plants, animals and humans.

It bears repeating: 5G is bad news for all living creatures and the planet we share.


Beware the propaganda deluge

Despite being fully aware of all these unsettling results, threats and concerns, the US corporatocracy continues to maintain a gung-ho attitude about 5G. The Mobile Now Act was passed in 2016, and many US states have since gone ahead with 5G plans. The telecom industry's biggest players have basically co-opted government powers to enforce their 5G agenda, with companies like AT&T and Qualcomm having begun live testing. And despite research showing serious threats to humans and the planet, the FCC Chairman announced intentions to open low-, mid- and high-frequency spectrums, without even mentioning a single word about the dangers.

They're going to sell this to us as 'faster browsing speeds' – but the truth is, you'll barely even notice the difference. They're going to call anyone who protests against 5G a 'Luddite' or 'technophobe'. But why such a willingness to embrace another new technology – even though it carries serious risks and brings spurious benefits? Why not heed the lessons learned from killer products like asbestos, tobacco and leaded gasoline?

Because a tiny percentage of people will gain an awful lot of money, is one reason. And because companies and governments will be given unprecedented amounts of power over civilians is the other.

All isn't doom and gloom, though. At least one US politician is maintaining some level-headedness: in October, California Governor Jerry Brown stopped legislation that would have allowed the telecom industry to inundate the state with mini-towers. Brown's bold actions have permitted localities a say in where and how many cell towers are placed.

The state of Hawaii has stopped 5G and smart meters by collectively threatening to charge every person who installed such meters with liability for any health problems residents may suffer.

Moreover, 180 scientists have started a petition to warn of 5G potential health effects. Maybe these actions will afford more time for additional studies and data collection. Just as importantly, maybe they'll cause other politicians and figureheads to reflect on what they've been pushing for.

Take action
In the meantime, we as individuals must do everything we can to protect ourselves. Here's what you can do:

•  Understand EMFs and their behaviors. Get a good quality radiation detector to know whether or not you're near high levels of EMFs.

•  Protect yourself with an EMF Shield to mark and protect you from hotspots. Try a patented product that neutralizes the harmful effects of mobile phones and other EMF emitting devices on humans.

•  Whenever possible, limit your exposure: use an anti-radiation headset or speaker mode while talking on a cellphone.

•  Refuse to use 5G phones and devices. Full stop. And discourage those you know from doing so.

•  Refuse to buy anything 'smart' – 'smart' appliances, 'smart' heaters, etc.

•  Some believe that carrying shungite crystals can offer some protection from radiation

•  No matter what, do NOT get a smart meter – these put high levels of 5G radiation right in your home

•  Join the growing numbers of dissenters. Get active with them here.

•  Do as the Hawaiians have done and threaten smart meter and 5G tech installers with liability. You can learn how to do that here.

•  Spread the word! Please share this article with everyone you know

In response to Kevin Werbach's 3/6/19 opinion piece in the NY Times.

It's not just about competition. This one-sided opinion by an economist does nothing to lay out what else the public should know about big problems coming with 5G.

It is also about associated health impacts from 5G and installing the infrastructure via small cells that are, in fact, large emitters of far more radiofrequency radiation than we have now. Health hazards from chronic exposure to cell phone radiation are already scientifically established beyond a reasonable doubt.

Children born in the last 20 years with heavy exposures to wireless at home and at school now have cancer risks that are epidemiologically visible (testicular cancer in boys age 15-19, malignant brain tumors in adolescents at five times the rate of adults).

The epidemic rate of profound mental and behavioral impairments in newborns who will not have normal cognitive function in their lifetimes is in part due to maternal use of cell phones during pregnancy, even as Telecom companies lobby to stop maintaining safe landlines and shift us all to unhealthy and addictive wireless phones.

Nationally, the 4G and 5G densification scheme requires the equivalent of hundreds of thousands of new mini-cell towers mounted on utility poles in front of homes down every block in America. Informed resistance over health harm should doom this scheme which is clearly a federal usurping of public rights-of-way.

5G institutionalizes profit for Telecom and Wireless industries at the expense of public health and safety. No amount of industry self-promotion and complicity of the FCC as a captured agency of that industry can cover up how dangerous and unnecessary this 5G rollout will be. Every movement of its citizens will be trackable, and thus made vulnerable to commercial manipulation, surveillance and disruption.

Clearly, 5G and the Internet of Thing is a marketing bonanza for many industries that want to cash in. Most people have no need or want of more gadgets that monitor every little phase of life, particularly when the network is so prone to hacking, surveillance and privacy problems and disruption of basic services. This is only a boon to industries that want to make money on contrived needs that make ever deeper demands for wireless capacity.

New federal regulations from the FCC have recently attempted to obliterate local community authority to have any say in whether and when this new blanket of hundreds of thousands of 4G an 5G cell sites can happen, while attempting to tie the hands of communities to talk about health issues or say no to this federal power grab. Not surprising, this FCC September 2018 order, FCC 18-133, is facing multiple law suits from many counties, cities and townships. The law suits have been consolidated in in Federal Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.

When the market is forced to face the true costs of 5G to public safety, privacy, disruption of basic services, health damage, both foreign and domestic surveillance and hacking risks, and loss of personal choice – the entire fraud perpetrated by the greedy wireless industry and underwritten by the FCC will be visible and parties will be held accountable.

The New York Times has an ethical obligation to cover these adverse impacts of 4G and 5G densified infrastructure, as well.

RIPON, CA — Parents in Ripon have been fighting for a Sprint cell tower to come down for roughly two years and they're calling the company's latest decision a major win.

"It's been a very hard battle, a very hard battle. And I'm hoping we've reached the end of it," mother Kellie Prime said. Now, these parents can breathe a sigh of relief after learning the cell tower outside of their sons' former school, Weston Elementary, will soon be moved. Prime and Monica Ferrulli have been fighting for this since their sons, Kyle and Mason, were diagnosed with cancer.

"Talking to specialists in the field, scientists, our own doctors," Ferrulli explained. "All the information that we gathered indicated that that tower could be a factor in their illness.'

These moms believe that the tower had any impact on their children's cancer, especially as more students and teachers fell ill. They say a total of eight were diagnosed with cancer in the past couple of years.

Prime said, "Having so many at one school in the district, with that tower being the one thing that sets Weston apart from the other schools, it's the only thing we had to look into,"

After holding protests, and taking their substantial evidence showing harms from 24/7 exposures to pulsed, data-modulated, Radio-frequency Electromagnetic Microwave Radiation (RF-EMR) to the school board, Sprint now says it plans to move the cell tower.

Adrienne Norton, Sprint Corporate Communications, said.
"We do understand and respect the views of the community. We're committed to being good neighbors,"

The company stresses, that the tower is fully compliant with state and federal regulations.

"It's actually operating at less than one percent, hundreds of times below federal limits," Norton explained. That is what makes this decision so important.

Sprint's decision to move the cell tower recognizes that compliance with federal FCC RF-EMR exposure limits is not protective and, therefore "being hundreds of times below the federal RF-EMR exposure limits" is meaningless.

There are cancer clusters all over the US in areas surrounding cell towers that are compliant with FCC RF-EMR exposure limits. Another recent public health crisis that was reported to the FCC was for a Crown Castle cell tower in Sebastopol, CA: five deaths and 12 illnesses over the last ten years in a three-story apartment building that is 260 feet from the Crown Castle cell tower. Peak RF-EMR exposures on the third floor of this building were measured between 1,000,000 µW/m² and 3,600,000 µW/m²m which is 10% to 36% of the absurdly high FCC RF-EMR exposure limit of 10,000,000 µW/m² for frequencies of 1500 MHz or higher.

Since so-called "Small Cells" that are as close at 15 feet from homes routinely exhibit exposures that are "compliant" but in this 1% to 30% of the FCC-limit range, then the densified 4G and 5G infrastructure rollout should not be allowed in residential areas or near schools.

They even say "at levels much lower than that of today's 4G cell towers", but then say "adoption of 5G will mean more signals carrying more energy through the high-frequency spectrum".  ::)

Psychotronic millimeter wave weaponry is coming to a street near you, with the potential to unleash disease on a mass scale. Welcome to the new fifth generation of wi-fi called 5G, where the speed to send full-length, high definition movies to your iPad is ten times faster.

The Consequences
The need for speed has the consequence of going from moderate to severe health effects in record time. Note that 4G operates at 2.5 GHz or oscillates about 2.5 billion times per second.

This frequency mimics water molecules in your body, and was chosen specifically for broadcasting services and equipment under government license. This means that all company products must meet this frequency or be deemed illegal.


For what purpose is matching the human body's frequency, you may ask, other than for weaponization? Good question.

The higher frequencies of 5G – 100 GHz and beyond – will use small-scale wireless refrigerator-sized boxes, placed in front of every 2-10 homes on every street, in every city.

As you watch the latest Hollywood flick, you will bask, unaware, in microwave emissions that oscillate at the same rate as your blood and oxygen molecules. These frequencies can cause burning sensations on your skin, impact fertility, as well as alter the electrochemical waves of your brain to affect consciousness.

Awaiting Installation of 5G
Secret testing of 5G emissions made its debut during the 2018 Olympics, and then again at the 2018 Super Bowl where over 67,000 people were part of a stress-test without their consent.

Soon, the 5G antennae networks will be beta tested in nineteen U.S. cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Jacksonville, and San Jose.

Directed Fires And Poisoned Trees
Many people in California report that the extensive "weird fires" are destroying homes and leaving trees untouched. Everything does not burn. At other times, the metal of cars and rails burned with the leaves on trees, leaving tree trunks and kindling.


Could these unusual fires be the result of lasers from Directed Energy Weapons?

Whole forests have been devastated down straight lines, obeying fence lines. Add to that, the sanctioned poisoning of hardwood trees by timber companies that has led to over one million dead trees to create a fire hazard.

Are the trees being destroyed merely to unblock hazardous signals? Is this treason/tree-son on multiple levels? These same millimeter waves have been used by the U.S. Army as a crowd control dispersal weapon called Active Denial Systems.

Firefighters in Sacramento have reported memory problems and confusion following the installation of new towers outside the city fire station. Some cities, including Santa Rosa, have halted their 5G plans while health concerns are addressed.

Tree Towers
The power of trees keep us calm by acting on our autonomic nervous system, as well as our spirit.


Numerous studies show a dose-response relationship between urban tree cover density and self-reported stress recovery. Studies show reduced physiological markers of stress in subjects simply looking at images of nature.

Unless we can stand up, speak up, collaborate and network, we risk being victims of the attack coming at us unseen, as millimeter waves are directed at our bodies and minds. If we feel powerless and isolated now, imagine what it will feel like once the new networks are installed and operational.

Imagine what it will be like when the trees are replaced with towers that look like trees. We only feel isolated when we work alone and isolate ourselves. Like a forest, there is strength in numbers.


Massive 5G Cell Towers Disguised as Trees
Camilla Reese of Electromagnetichealth.org says we are facing actions at the federal and FCC levels that will create a dense network of high-intensity 4G and 5G microwave radiating cellular antennas in front of homes across America.

Moreover, federal legislation, S 3157, would severely reduce local revenues, shorten review times for applications and curtail local control over siting of cell towers.

Camilla says the movement to stop this rollout is necessary for health but is also about getting corporate money out of politics and building an independent media not dependent on toxic polluters and the corruption driving it.

Health Effects of 5G
Because 5G frequencies affect oxygen molecules, they affect all biological systems, including DNA, circadian rhythm, heart function, hormonal regulation, and immune system.

Hundreds of scientists have expressed concern that humans may experience serious health risks including increases in blindness, cataracts, retinal degeneration, hearing loss, male infertility, cancers, peripheral nervous system damage, impacts on immune cells, red blood cells leading to low cellular oxygen, and impaired transport of nutrients into cells. Impacts on birds and plants may be more severe than the impacts on humans.

Beyond direct effects to health, harmful frequencies threaten society as a whole by ignoring the human right to informed-consent to high levels of radiation.

All life on the planet has a right to health and a healthy life. By accepting the 5G rollout without a discussion, as happened with the airport scanners, we give up sovereignty over our bodies and accelerate our demise.

These frequencies ionize metals being sprayed into the atmosphere under military "geo-engineering" programs to charge the atmosphere, along with our bodies. These programs further block the healing frequencies of the sun required by all life.

S 3157 has bipartisan support and currently faces little opposition. It could slip through the Senate via unanimous consent, appear in the House briefly and get attached to a spending bill — without any debate or roll-call votes specific to S 3157.

This would wipe out nearly all the protective ordinances already passed by forward-looking cities.

On September 26, 2018, the FCC is scheduled to vote through its Wireless Infrastructure Order (dockets 17-79 and 17-84). This order attempts to preempt local control of the public rights-of-way.

Wireless companies could then more easily install — in front of homes — cell towers that would irradiate those nearby with intense, pulsed, data-modulated, Radio-frequency Electromagnetic Microwave Radiation (RF-EMR) — 24/7.

One ray of sunshine: millimeter wave (mmWave) signals are more robust than many had feared. So far it seems the worries about rain fade and soft obstructions, such as foliage, were overblown.

A critical element of 5G is virtualizing the network, with the goal of making communications networks endlessly configurable to suit the various and changing needs of network users. On-demand network reconfigurability creates a need to make sure that each new configuration is delivering what was ordered. By definition, testing in advance is not possible.

5G has qualities new to cellular communications, including network configurability and lower latency that presage innumerable potential new uses, but the first impression most people are going to have of 5G is going to be with familiar telephony and broadband services. It would be bad for carriers if phone and internet on 5G networks aren't appreciably better than they are on 4G. Services on 5G had better not be worse.

Carriers are consequently calling on their T&M partners to extend their test capabilities from the lab into the network itself, to a) make sure the technology works when installed and b) new services perform as advertised when they're spun up.....SNIP

Imagine playing a co-op shooter like Fortnite Battle Royale or PUB-G on a VR headset... in real-time, with zero lag... all through your phone, while traveling in a fleet of self-driving cars going 200 miles an hour. Sit tight, because the future of gaming, and everything else, is about to change forever.

If you look up in the corner of your phone, you're probably used to seeing a little indicator that says 4G LTE or, 3G, or... god forbid, 2G – and you've come to recognize that it probably has something to do with your phone's connection to your mobile network. The higher the G, the faster the connection. It's pretty easy to follow, the G stands for generation, and each subsequent generation refers to a specific minimum speed, connectivity, and reliability necessary to classify the network as that particular generation. 1G let us talk to each other, 2G let us send messages, 3G gave us broad data and internet, and 4G/LTE made it a whole lot faster.

But all that is in the soon to be past, because up on the horizon is 5G. And while you may be thinking that 5G is just a little faster, a little more reliable, and a little newer – it's actually a massive breakthrough that's going to change the way devices connect to the internet, and more importantly, to each other. In fact, as 5G rolls out over the next two years, it's going to change... well, everything with a wireless connection. Which, at this point is ...well, pretty much everything. So, what's so special about a 5G future?

First of all, it's fast. Like, really fast. Like, 20 gigabits per second over wireless fast. Like 100 - 250 times faster than 4G. By comparison, 4G provides speeds, on average, of about 10 - 20 megabits a second. So that's going from streaming one Netflix movie in HD, to streaming 400 movies in 8k at the same time.

But that's not really the most impressive part... what sets 5G aside is its crazy low latency rate, which is the amount of delay between the sending and receiving of information. Now, 4G tends to average about 100-200 milliseconds. To be fair, 100 milliseconds is FAST; human reaction time is about 200-300 milliseconds. But 5G... will get it down to 1 millisecond. Or less. That's almost real-time. And being able to send and receive information in what is essentially real-time, means that we can use 5G... to replace real-time interactions.

That might be one of the biggest breakthroughs in 5G: a network of self driving cars – all sending data between each other, and communicating with traffic lights, road sensors, aerial drones, and so on. Think about it, human reaction speed is 200 milliseconds, and we still have accidents every day. Imagine if your car could react, and communicate its reaction to hundreds of cars around it, all within a millisecond. Not only could we end car accidents, hell, we could end traffic altogether. Hundreds of self-driving cars, going lightning fast to your destination, with no risk that they'll hit each other, because they all know exactly where they are in real-time, reacting to the actual world around them. Autonomous or remotely controlled trains, delivery trucks, even airplanes could be on the horizon in the near future.

In fact, forget cars for a second, and think of all robotic devices. Surgeries could be performed, from the other side of the world, with robot surgeons controlled in real-time by expert surgeons, being assisted by other expert surgeons simultaneously; saving lives in situations where time and distance are the difference between life and death. Factories can be staffed by robots that can communicate their task and position to each other, allowing them to not only do more, but do it more efficiently, and wirelessly over a 5G network. Imagine a fleet of drones flying over a field of crops, using sensors on the ground, to sort, pick, feed, and water individual plants – all on their own.

Why do we have the "Race to 5G"?
Because 5 comes after 4 . . . this is more a label for perceived progress than actual, tangible consumer benefit. Market watchers and consumers know that the "Smart Phone" has run its course. It has reached market saturation and consumers are settling into a more sane upgrade pattern — keeping their phones for three year or longer. Smart Phones, since about 2015 or so have, on the whole, have been more capable than consumers need or want. That explains why Smart Phone unit sales in the US have flattened or dropped for multiple years.

The same can be said for the Wireless networks. We have reached market saturation. Where there is 4G Wireless service, people are satisfied with their service. Where there is no 4G service (the rural and lower income areas) people are not. Will 5G address the need to for upgraded service in these underserved and unserved areas? Not likely because the business case for private wireless companies is not lucrative enough. It is more lucrative for them to force another unnecessary upgrade on the densely populated urban and suburban areas in an effort to convince people to upgrade, once again.

5G wireless, therefore is just another bait-and-switch campaign to secure more regulatory and financial benefits for AT&T and Verizon so they can maximize their future profits. 5G is merely a label for "what comes next" — lots of hype and promises for the future that history shows will mostly not materialize.

The game plan: AT&T and Verizon can just promise a new shiny bauble (the Internet of Things) make more money and get rid of all regulations. That is what this is all about.

   •   Any real consumer benefit? Mostly from "meh" to downright indifference.
      
   •   Any fix for the growing Digital Divide? Sorry. Not profitable enough.

So far, it's been mostly hype and every one of those state "Small Cell" deployment laws, passed in only 21 of our 50 states, is forcing the installation of 4G cell towers on utility and light poles in front of people's homes with the "promise" that 5G will be coming "real soon".

Waiting for . . .?
On December 8, 2015, I quoted a Fierce Wireless interview of former Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam, where Verizon claimed it would deliver speeds of 1Gbps with a commercial launch in 2017.

"Verizon's McAdam: 5G speeds will be up to 1 Gbps and will be live at Verizon HQ in January (2016). Verizon's 5G service to go commercial in 2017 and beyond."

That never happened, except for controlled test locations. Now, Verizon is claiming it will have 5G in 30 cities by year end...

Not really difficult to see who the industry hacks are.... :P

Which radiation is more harmful to health, those emitted by 3/4/5G mobile networks, Bluetooth devices or a Wi-Fi router? Here is the truth.

Today, we are surrounded by devices that emit electromagnetic waves: smartphones, TVs, Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth headsets and so on. Anything that uses a network, be it WLAN, 3G or LTE/4G, is "potentially dangerous" for health ... But is it really like that? And above all, which of these radio frequencies that we use every day can expose us to greater risks? We make clarity.

Smartphone radiation: which waves do more harm?
Today there are 3 transmission standards for mobile: GSM (2G), UMTS (3G) and LTE (4G), which differ substantially in speed, which increases as the generation increases.

The frequencies used are the following:
   •   2G – between 900 and 1,800 MHz
   •   3G – between 1900 and 2,170 MHz
   •   LTE/4G – between 800 and 2600 MHz
   •   
No technology of those cited causes harmful radiation as it is non-ionizing electromagnetic waves, that is, they do not ionize the medium through which they pass and do not alter the molecules.

The only effect on the human body is heating, but exposure levels are so low that they can not be considered risky.

It should also be remembered that radio-frequency devices, in order to be placed on the market, must comply with maximum exposure levels so as not to incur proven health risks. These requirements are: 8 Watts/kg for the body and 2 Watts/kg for body parts such as the head.

[tfw note: These morons conveniently leave out that those tests done on 'the head' are referring to Phantom Head One - modeled after a military man's adult head.]  :P

Wifi
The Wi-Fi devices we find on the market take advantage of the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands to exchange data and information packets. The factor at stake, if we talk about health dangers, could at most be the power, but we consider that the signal emitted by a Wi-Fi router is about 100 milliwatt and that even at normal operating distances the signal strength is so low not to be a cause for concern.

Bluetooth
Now the technology goes to the wireless direction and more and more accessories and wireless devices (think of Apple's AirPods ), but the brands have every interest to lower as much as possible the power of emissions so as to preserve battery consumption.

As for Bluetooth devices, the power used is too low and the minimum energy impact "to be able to damage any biological tissue with the mechanisms known to us at present. If it were risky for health it should be in ways that no one has ever imagined", said John Moulder, a radiation expert biologist at the University of Wisconsin. Bluetooth uses a frequency of waves very similar to that of Wi-Fi, but we can consider it more a "Wi-Fi light" and therefore even more harmless.

Egad! You just can't make this stuff up!  :P

The bluetooth devices sold by Apple have an output of 10-18 milliwatts, and less than 1% of this energy comes in the form of electromagnetic radiation, a more than insignificant amount compared to that which is exposed by supporting the smartphone to the ear.

Even a recent research by the International Agency for Cancer Research has concluded that the more a device is far from one's head the less harmful it is, but there is no definitive study in this regard and the results often come to antithetical conclusions.

And the 5G?
The 5G will use the maximum frequency spectrum possible and never used so far, ie radio waves between 30 and 300 GHz. The alarms about the risks to human health are not lacking, but despite several pseudoscientific studies, there is currently no real evidence on the harmfulness of 5G. Even in the case of 5G, in fact, the frequencies have a very low intensity to have ionizing effects on biological tissues. The waves used by the 5G have more difficulty penetrating through the air and the walls, and this therefore also applies to organic tissues.

Gotta love their closing statement.

All the arguments about the danger of the 5G are not scientific and can therefore be relegated in the field of hoaxes.

Absorbed or reflected? Some of those frequencies are used in police radars.

   Here's a quote from Nexusnewsfeed.com:

   As you can see this frequency is basically absorbed readily by anything with liquid water in its make up.  So the more water, the more easily the signal is absorbed.  Since we are mostly water, this will affect us easily.
    If it was reflected by objects and not absorbed it would still be radiant and just take a new direction with probably a small reduction in signal strength and not be truly blocked.  Another issue with millimeter wave length is the range.  They do not travel very far, so they will need many more towers to achieve coverage. 
   Although I believe this is pointed this out in previous posts above, this particular range of frequency is use in military sonic weapons (at higher power and concentration  for acute reaction) because of its ability to penetrate the tissues of the body and brain causing a variety of symptoms both mental and physical.

Perhaps like many of you, we are not aware of any substantive, independent testing about the health effects it may cause. We believe there has been some testing regarding high energy millimeter wave (mmWave) radio frequency (RF) propagation, which doesn't look good for living things. However, 5G New Radio (NR) uses low energy RF. The problem may be (if there is any problem) long term exposure to 5GNR.

Again, we are in the business of telling people about the merits of 5G, so don't take this as hypocritical. We don't know any more about the potential ill health effects than anyone else in lieu of testing. Sadly, it would likely have to be long-term testing to be conclusive.

One guideline to consider, even more so with 5G than ever before, would be to limit the exposure of directed energy towards you head and vital organs. In other words, use a headset, which is a good hands-free safety idea anyway. This is just using good judgement regarding any wireless technology.

As a side note, we see most of the applications and services being data-oriented with 5G. However, Voice over 5G (Vo5G) will be integrated with many next generation apps such as Virtual Reality (VR). The distinction is that the user interface (UI) will likely be wearable technology (e.g. a VR headset) and the 5GNR signal will be beamed to a smartphone (or some other device) and then relayed to the UI via some other wireless signal, most likely WiFi.

We have written extensively about how we see 5G being used (such as Vo5G: https://mindcommerce.com/reports/vo5g-market/), but like others in the information and communications technology industry, admittedly know very little about the potential health concerns of 5G.

Besides police radars, as I said before, I found out that those frequencies are also used on full body scanners, and they work by analysing the wave reflected by the body.

How can a radio frequency be used on sonic equipment? We can only ear frequencies below 20 KHz (for an average young adult) and we do not ear electromagnetic radiation.

    Sorry, I was looking at military energy weapons and my mind was still on the sonic while I did that post and I didn't catch my slip.  I should have said millimeter wave or short wave energy.    There is a lot of good info in the above post from Thor you should read.

The introduction of 5G mobile phone networks could seriously affect weather forecasters' ability to predict major storms.

That is the stark warning of meteorologists around the world, who say the next-generation wireless system now being rolled out across the globe is likely to disrupt the delicate satellite instruments they use to monitor changes in the atmosphere.

The result will be impaired forecasts, poorer warnings about major storms, and loss of life, they say.

"The way 5G is being introduced could seriously compromise our ability to forecast major storms," said Tony McNally of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts in Reading. "In the end it could make the difference between life and death. We are very concerned about this."

The crisis facing the world's meteorologists stems from the fact that the radio frequencies the new 5G networks will use could contaminate critical Earth observations made by weather satellites.

Instruments on board the satellites peer down into the atmosphere and study variables such as water vapour, rain, snow, cloud cover and ice content – all crucial factors that influence our weather.

One example is the 23.8 gigahertz (GHz) frequency. Water vapour emits a faint signal at this specific natural wavelength, and this data is monitored and measured by weather satellites. Forecasters then use this information to work out how a storm or weather system is likely to develop.

"Such data is critical to our ability to make forecasts," said Niels Bormann, also of the Reading weather centre. "They are a unique natural resource, and if we lose this capability, weather forecasts will get significantly worse."

The problem is that some 5G phone networks may transmit near a frequency similar to that emitted by water vapour, and so would produce a signal that looks very like its presence in the atmosphere.

"We would not be able to tell the difference and so would have to discard that data," added Bormann. "That would compromise our ability to make accurate forecasts."

The urgency of the problem is underlined by the fact that US Federal Communications Commission and similar agencies in other countries have already started to auction off frequencies close to the 23.8 GHz frequency to future 5G network providers. In addition, other bands that are used to probe our weather include the 36-37 GHz band, which is used to study rain and snow; the 50 GHz band, which is used to measure atmospheric temperature; and the 86-92 Ghz band, which helps to analyse cloud and ice.

All these contain sections of waveband that are being auctioned off in the US. It remains to be seen if other nations will follow suit and sell these frequencies in their own countries over coming months. The issue is set to be debated at a global conference in Egypt later this year.

Forecasters say the US move has already compromised their ability to collect data, and promise to lobby other nations to limit use of crucial frequencies to preserve their ability to provide accurate forecasts. They accuse phone operators of ransacking the radio spectrum for wavelengths to exploit, and regulators of failing to protect the natural frequencies vital for Earth observation from space. "The more we lose, the greater the impact will be," states meteorologist Jordan Gerth, of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, in the current issue of Nature. "This is a global problem."

In case of the frequencies used on 5G, the highest it 86 GHz, well below the upper 300 GHz limit of millimetre waves. Also, being a lower frequency it's a lower energy radiation.

X-Ray is a short wave radiation but with a higher frequency and energy than the frequencies used by 5G.

The direct energy crowd control systems use a slightly higher frequency (96 GHz) but a much stronger intensity, but even then they only affect the upper 1/64 of an inch of skin, as they do not have enough energy to penetrate the body.

    Well thanks for the agreement that it is indeed intensity that causes change in affect.  I'm glad you know what the affects are from long term exposure to as you put it "weaker effect" when no one else seems too.  According to the data its still under study.  And that is what is not cool about this whole 5G thing.  Not enough is known about the long term exposure to these fields.  Not to mention there is an issue with proximity do to the fact that a cell-tower is slightly larger then the hand held scanners and backscanners you talk about.  Like you said your self "The direct energy crowd control systems use a slightly higher frequency" and that has an acute reaction in seconds.  But I'm glad you think you know!  Maybe you should live right next to one and be an experiment.  Of course there are people winning suits against Co.s using towers already, as the towers and tech are now.

I agree completely, there aren't (apparently) enough studies for this new use of those frequencies, but that's no reason to present them as being as dangerous as most sites against it appear to do.

Besides using the wrong URL for the source I forgot to point on my previous post that that higher frequency means higher energy for the same intensity (I was almost asleep when I wrote that). Also, those crowd control systems waves have a power of 30 kw, much higher than any cell phone tower (I think the maximum allowed is 500 w, while a phone has a power of 1 or 2 w), resulting in a much higher energy emitted and much stronger effects.

First of all I don't have any trust on the US justice system, so any court decision in the US means nothing to me, and that case was not just about possible health effects of the cell tower, it was about the couple having to move from their home because of being frightened for the security of their children during the construction, frightened for the health from the radio tower (I couldn't find any place that said what kind of frequencies were to be used on that tower) and because the company had full access to their property whenever they wanted.

In the ranking of the smartphones that emit more radiation we find different models of the iPhone but above all the Chinese devices.


Punctual like a Swiss watch, the smartphone-radiation topic is back in vogue.

Nowadays, in fact, we are more and more smartphone- dependent: our phone is at our fingertips 24 hours a day, in our pocket while we go to work or on the bedside table when we go to sleep. This is now the normality. But what we keep asking ourselves is whether the radiation emitted by smartphones is really harmful to our health and which models are more or less safe.

At the moment research has not produced concrete and univocal results: we still do not know how much and if the radiations emitted by smartphones are actually harmful. You may also be interested in Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, 5G: dangerous radiation, yes or no? We make clarity.

From the list, however, emerged a fact: Chinese devices appear in greater quantities among smartphones that emit higher levels of radiation, followed by the iPhone.

The Statist website has compiled and published the list of smartphone models that emit more radiation (which you find below) on the basis of data collected by the German Federal Office for Radiation Protection (Bundesamt für Strahlenschutz). The institution has in fact a complete and updated database of mobile devices, new and old, and the level of radiation they emit, both in standby and when you place them on the ear to call.

Smartphones that emit more radiation: the ranking:


According to the list above, the most dangerous radiation-level phones are the Chinese. In fact, the Xiaomi Mi A1 is in the first place, followed by OnePlus 5T. In fact, the two companies are widely represented in this ranking, with as many as 8 models among the top 16 most risky smartphones.

In any case, we also find the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8, respectively in the 9th and 14th place, as well as the Google Pixels, HTC and Sony.

Although there is no universal guideline for a "safe" level of phone radiation, German ecology certification Der Blaue Engel (Blue Angel) certifies only phones that have a specific absorption rate of less than 0.60 watts per kilogram. All the phones present here are more than double this benchmark.

Smartphone and radiation: where is Huawei?
In today's ranking we note the absence of Huawei: in the list does not appear even a smartphone model of the Chinese company. The data amazes if we consider that in the 2018 ranking Huawei smartphones were present and also in large numbers.


At the top of the list there were still Xiaomi Mi A1 and OnePlus 5T, followed by Huawei starting from Mate 9 up to the P9 Lite.

There were six Huawei smartphones on the list and, in general, the devices to emit more radiation are all of Chinese manufacturers except for the fourth position where we find Nokia.

It should also be noted that the second-ranked attendance level was Apple: there were in fact three iPhone on the list that, despite occupying lower positions, still remained among the smartphones to emit the highest number of radiation.

Instead, the absence of Samsung is surprising: the South Korean house had accumulated many accusations over its devices over the years. In any case, even if it is not yet clear what the damage that radiation can cause to our health, it is always good to try to avoid keeping your mobile device too close to head, heart and private parts.

There's no universal guideline for a "safe" level of phone radiation but the recommendation is that it shouldn't be higher than 2.0 Watts per kilogram, so all the phones on those charts are below the "official" safe level.

The one I am using has a value (close to the ear) of 1.39. Luckily, I rarely have to use it as a phone. :)

Cell Phones Might Be Causing Horns to Grow on Young People's Skulls: Study

Well, this is terrifying.

Researchers at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia have found evidence that our frequent use of mobile devices could be fundamentally altering our physiology. Specifically, they're seeing horn-like bone spurs appear on younger adults (the most frequent users of those devices).

The good news, if there is any here, is that you're not going to see a generation of kids looking like triceratops wannabes, with horns poking out of their foreheads. The bad news is, the spurs are growing at the back of the skull.

Here's what the researchers say is happening: Frequent users of mobile devices regularly tilt their heads forward to view them. That shifts the weight of the head from the spine to muscles in the back of the head, which causes bones to grow in the tendons and ligaments. That results in a horn-like spur that grows from the base of the skull.

"Our findings raise a concern about the future musculoskeletal health of the young adult population and reinforce the need for prevention intervention through posture improvement education," the scientists noted in the report, which was originally published a year ago, but has come to more prominent attention recently.

The study looked at 1,200 X-rays taken in Queensland covering a wide variety of age ranges. One-third of those showed the bone spur, with the frequency decreasing with age. Larger spurs were much more prominent in younger people.

Cell phones have been criticized for their impact on human health before, but researchers say this is the first time the body has shown an adaptation to technology used in everyday life.

"An important question is what the future holds for the young adult populations in our study, when development of a degenerative process is evident in such an early stage of their lives?," they wrote.

Worried about the effect of phones on your own body? The study's lead author suggests you run your hand over the lower rear part of your skull, telling the Washington Post that if you've got a horn growing there, you can probably feel it.

WHY 5G
It'll speed up your internet by 100x, it'll allow you to perform surgery with a robot, it'll let thousands of drones fly through the sky. It'll allow clinics to show patient data.

While these use cases sound great and futuristic, for 5G, they're a bit dumb.

Showing a patient's medical data when they're at the clinic can already be done with WIFI.
Performing remote surgery at a hospital can already be done with WIFI.

Drones which require fast 5G signals to operate, is a DANGER HAZARD.

Does your reception ever break up? What happens when they're flying over areas which aren't covered.

More importantly, fast 5G only actually works at short range. By short, fast 5G requires 10 times more antennas than 4G, because the signal operates at a higher frequency they don't travel as far. So drones flying here there and everywhere aren't really going to be in those fast 5G areas now are they?

The 5G being used currently operates at the 3GHz spectrum, but the problem is that 5G can go up to 100GHz. When you start going above 29GHz you hit the realm of extremely high frequency. This frequency is the same as those hated TSA scanners use, which by the way you only have to traverse sometimes if you're travelling internationally and unlucky. But more importantly, it's been used in the medical field to change cell growth[1].

Now doctors and scientists usually say, but hey, if phones were dangerous, there would be more cases of brain cancer, and yes, that's right, brain cancer rates haven't gone up, they've just steadily dropped slightly. HOWEVER, I don't know about you, but I don't constantly keep my phone on my head. Where I do keep it however, is near my balls.... Did you know since 2002, sperm counts have fallen by 50% over the past few decades[2].

Also, did you know that Apple recommend you use your smartphone on hands free. And Samsung recommend you place your phone 1.5cm away from your body. I don't know what kind of trousers you wear, but if your mates acting a bit weird, tell them to lay off the skinny jeans.

What's scary about 5G is its mission statement. 4G only supported 4000 devices per square km. But, 5G aims to support 1 million[3]. And considering that the different cells support from only 8 to 200 users, then you're looking at 5000 cells per km at the best case.

The one saving grace at the moment with 5G is that, currently it's all hype. The 5G that's being installed at the moment here in Australia operates at 3GHz[4], so, it's just ever so slightly faster than 4G, but these units are designed to operate at higher frequencies, and with a switch of a button, you might start needing some tin foil.

All great advice as usual, especially the latest demonstration on using a cellphone safer. one small concern to consider is the possible side effects on using ethernet power lines that use your existing home wiring. according to a demonstration from a building biologist these power line adapters can be give off tons of EMFs dirty electricity, perhaps this isn't always the case, I don't know...but in my opinion a flat UTP or shielded Cat6/7 ethernet cable can be easily ran and connected to a ethernet switch or router at about 200ft lengths if needed and it's usually a cheaper and likely a safer alternative.

It will be very difficult to keep apart 5g and covid.
I have recently noted an increase in a condition in fish known as white spot.
This is said to be caused by a parasite, which is commonly found in water ways and aquariums.

Cause and effects.

White spot is linked to STRESS in fish, this is normally OXYGEN DEPLETION.

The DNA damage caused by 3 W/kg irradiation was significantly increased at the times of 0 and 30 min after exposure (P < 0.05), a phenomenon that could not be seen at the time points of 60, 120 or 240 min (P > 0.05). Detectable mRNA as well as protein expression of Hsp70 was found in all groups. A lake I normally fish in Brackley next to the Mercedes formula one teams headquarters is closed due to white spot.

That may account for some of the other later parts of the video that its his reflection..

but considering the concerns over Covid 19, that could be if its for real or if  its part of some type of  much more serious side of a NWO plot. this seems what is one of the most concerning issues at the present time.

I think what George said is what as to many people consider has been the case thru out a certain period  of history..at least as to how it effects a certain % of the population.

It seems the Powers that be ... do at varying times attempt to act on it in a more severe way.

ie to keep us / them under control, poor or to try prevent us being happy or reproducing...

but that is not all or completly the case for all ... or we would not now be here...

But it coud well be that they are trying to make us rather somewhat concerned and unhappy ! or attempting to
upset  the next generation.

How does your immune system protect you from a change in atomic state? This is like suggesting some people in the Hiroshima blast radius were 100% immune to the effects of radiation. I don't see this being a possibility unless similarly it has something to do with RADIUS OF EFFECT which we have already been over many times.

I do not have very much Chemistry or Electrical background ..

but I am familar with parts here and there... and can be reminded and can recall some of it when I read some ref to it..

Its amazing that Atoms were only suggested since the 1800s and that electrons were suggested only as far back as in 1897 by JJ Thomson.

From I think I recall all Atoms are said to have Electrons that go around or orbit the atoms nucleus...protons / neutrons.
and different atoms have variable ammount of photons/ neutrons /electrons.   and can gain or lose elections.. that can alter their state or what they become or combine with. and I assume  alter its mass / shells / energy levels, vibration etc .

If they are negatively or positively charged then they are ions, not atoms, so I suppose you mean something else, not "negatively charged". Could it be the "oxidation state"? That would work as you say, as Oxygen has an oxidation state of -2, Hydrogen +1 and Carbon +/- 4 and 2, according to my old periodic table.

What are you calling "magnetic direction"? ???

I contacted a Physical & Theoretical Chemistry professor that studies spin chemistry, the influence of spin in atoms and electrons in the way chemical reactions happen, and asked him two things:
a) Is it possible for a change in spin to prevent a chemical reaction from happening?
b) If the answer is yes, does it happen with Oxygen in haemoglobin?

His answer was:

After a lot of digging I think Kevin does have a valid point that 60Ghz does cause varying degrees of harm to any biological entity that uses oxygen. The harm may not be directly from the radiation but the radiation may "trigger" pre-existing ailments. I do NOT think it is causing COVID-19 symptoms. I think it may be assisting the virus but not solely responsible for what is happening. On another note... This 60Ghz radiation has an extremely limited range. It is NOT beamed from satellites. Satellites mostly use Ku band frequencies. The atmosphere would absorb 60Ghz, therefore the only place it is going to be streamed from is a tower.

Ellirium113 , what i meant by 'tell me I'm wrong' was my conclusion from reading the article that 60ghz had no effect on the human body. I would hope someone else would read the article and then 'tell me I'm wrong'.

I think you're right, but they may not be, as that study used a radiation at 1 mW/cm², the limit antennas are subjected to. Cell phones reach a much higher value, close to 50 mW/cm² when used right next to the head.
