as for the blood..i used to do endurance riding.. that's 50 or more miles on a horse with a shotgun start and first guy back wins...there are stops you have to pass in good shape
the horse not the rider..
i have helped a women who was almost competely scapled (her stupidity)
i have had friends doing cpr on a guy who just dropped dead off of his horse
i have seen smart ass riders being dragged thur gad awful stuff by a stirrup
and the list can go for a good long time

Posting here as someone that has run in the past, and currently in the process of training for the melbourne marathon.
Runner's will say things like this to each other:
"I am going to wake up sore tomorrow"
"This race is going to kill me" <<< In context of someone never running a Marathon, and maybe not being the fittest person on block that is quite a true statement... It's going to hurt without some nutter or what have you taking you out.
"I had to take the day off work after running Marathon X"
"I know I am not going to be able to walk tomorrow after this"
All Above are comments that I would expect to hear from participant's. The conspiracy would lay in a Marathon being held where those sorta comments were absent.
STILL OFF MY MEDS...but I will TRY to hold it together; what I have to say is as important as ANY other info you might come across regarding the Boston Marathon Bombing(s):
If the info Ammy has posted (originally gleaned from Twitter) is in fact true, and the fourth estate (the so-called "news" media) colluded to fabricate portions of the incidents and narratives thereof (meaning both this, and Sandy Hook) for whatever purpose--and we are good guessers, it is conspiracy, which carries 20 years without parole in federal prison. If knowledge of this goes all the way up the chain to the president (which the fourth estate will not allow, nor will the president's handlers), it would certainly qualify as a high crime, let alone a misdemeanor.
I want this woman's body exhumed as evidence, and I want a thorough investigation...neither will happen. This is what lawyers DREAM of--HARD EVIDENCE. Ammy gets gold, and my appreciation for her post.

I don't particularly want to see innocent people being blown up or injured when they were running a 4 hour marathon time myself (they are hurting just making it to that point at that slow time of 4 hour's), yet I understand some people want to check this out considering America has a long history of self inflicted wounds to achieve something.
I could split the thread so people like myself who see this from a runner's angle can just be pissed and people looking for evidence (they may find) can work in separate means to achieve the same goal of caring for what happened to innocent people. We are all grown up's here and I hope that can happen naturally rather than someone having to appease the herd :D

I hope this comment helps people investigating the other angle as I myself could not see any oddness in the Army being at one of the Planet's Biggest Marathons located in the USA. I would be more worried about the nutters that did 911 using that as plot more than anything else to go out and spend time in the desert... and even then we don't why they are spending time out in the desert fully LOL

Speculation over an image of a couple of army guy's at a marathon of
all place's is really thin picking, let alone a warrant for a conclusion to the matters at hand.
I am not sure what the US is like as i have never been there, but given the state of affair's between Oz and the USA I imagine the culture in the states for some part's is quite the same, and that token we all have to admit that we live in a barbaric culture where people don't respect much compared to other culture's. A bombing by some nutter is quite possible.

Those comments for anyone that has a running race under their belt even at the shortest levels of distance would say "This will Kill Me".

Like I said we are all grown up and I have no problems with what people want to speculate on...We all Speculate. And thanks to speculation we have new knowledge... point being in this case is that some of us would like some time for the family's of the injured and deceased to go through their motions without added pain.
People need time absorb that their loved one aint coming home... Or are in hospital seeing Ball Bearings being removed from flesh and that they need some caring thought sent their way.
As a victim of crime myself i didn't find retribution to be comforting in the least...

As you say what APPEARS to be proof. On the other hand the mainstream media is NOTORIOUS for 'enhancing' the news to stir up the populous. Remeber that Chines Missile off California? That was a News network that was having slow sales that used a jetliner contrail and called it a missile. These are pictures of TV screens - the Sandy Hook screen I think is CNN, and the other Fox, as You said.
Irrespective of WHERE the pic originated from, We can see that the same pic is used for "Dawn" and for "Donna." So... Yeah, either They were grossly sloppy - and I mean phenomenally sloppy!!! - or there is something VERY fishy.
Really a "coincidence" that They sloppily chose a Sandy Hook photo to offer as One who was at the marathon, the last mile of which was dedicated to...SANDY HOOK! With Sandy Hook families in attendance.

Doesn't anyone else find it odd that during 9/11 there were "Drills" being conducted, at Sandy Hook again drills, now at this marathon bombing also more drills. I suspect that if we looked at every major incident of "terrorist" activity we will undoubtably discover there were some associated drills being conducted at every one. Amazing coincidences??
I'm more concerned with our nation's law makers who will come up with new and improved bills that will further erode our civil liberties. Someone may very well come up with the excuse to have more drones patrolling our cities to "keep us safe" from the terrorists. Lets see ... drones with HD and facial recognition, along with some sort of bomb detection capability ... sounds like a way to fight this new war on terror.
