i have a request about the boston bombings today

to gather your energy and by whatever label you call your power

to ask that a very bright light be shown on the perpetrators of this so that they may be caught

there are some very powerful folk here and i know we can do this

Just to add for anyone that may consider running as a shite activity...

The Boston is the most famous race in the world and one runners aspire to compete in.  And last time I looked at my belly.. more running and inspiration is needed.

Folks, please remember this is an event witnessed by hundreds,
if not thousands of people. There are real people who are in
the hospitals, some of them having surgery...

There are countless pictures of the event, as horrific

Putin Offers Assistance
Russian president Vladimir Putin offered the U.S. support to investigate Monday's bombings in Boston.

From the Associated Press:

Putin said in a condolences note published on the Kremlin's website Tuesday that the international community should come together to fight terrorism.

Putin said Russia "would be ready to provide assistance" to U.S. authorities with the probe into the bombings at the Boston marathon.

One runner says that on Saturday, he heard a woman telling several
runners that were picking up their pre race packages that if they ran,
they were going to die.

Very odd, and distrubing...

Runners getting set to take part in the Boston Marathon were warned beforehand that they were going to die, said a Squamish resident who took part in the race....

Mike Heiliger, 59, said a woman holding several bags was telling runners who were picking up their pre-race packages in downtown Boston on Saturday (April 13) that they were going to die if they participated in the event.

"I was downtown on Saturday and you know, you see these people on the street and think it's just some nutbar," he told The Chief from his Boston hotel on Monday. "It was a little creepy because you can identify who the runners are and I heard her say to this runner two feet away from me that, 'If you run tomorrow you're going to die.'"

i came back to say that i am not hiding my head in the sand.. yes i know what's out there..in here..etc..

the bloody pictures bothered me and my reaction to them ways to say peace and love.. really?
if that is calling someone out.. then i guess i need to add more words in explaination

i do not think hitting folks in soft spots is called for and i try very hard not to do that

i will now address the one army comment about why they were there with a question to you guys
have any of you ever worked at a large event such as this?

i have

the army
the town dignitaries
anyone who is seemingly important is called in to add to the BIGNESS of it
that's the norm of large events not a black ops program


as for the blood..i used to do endurance riding.. that's 50 or more miles on a horse with a shotgun start and first guy back wins...there are stops you have to pass in good shape
the horse not the rider..
i have helped a women who was almost competely scapled (her stupidity)
i have had friends doing cpr on a guy who just dropped dead off of his horse
i have seen smart ass riders being dragged thur gad awful stuff by a stirrup
and the list can go for a good long time
never did i think the black opps were involved or that there was some conspiracy involved
my point is folks do dumb things -  bombs in public fitting in here

i think you give the bad guys way too much freakin credit  and that was my point

as far as live feed.. i watched the tv..three different channels for most of the afternoon
there was no shortage of phone vids or participants calling in and or telling what happened where they were..
that's real life..everybody has a story... they weren't all coached or
shut up

my original post will tell you where i was coming from but if you want to go round and round on this stuff.. i ain't playing
i believe in the goodness in humans and i will not waste my time OR yours debating bullpoop

Posting here as someone that has run in the past, and currently in the process of training for the melbourne marathon.

Runner's will say things like this to each other:

"I am going to wake up sore tomorrow"   

"This race is going to kill me"  <<< In context of someone never running a Marathon, and maybe not being the fittest person on block that is quite a true statement... It's going to hurt without some nutter or what have you taking you out.

"I had to take the day off work after running Marathon X" 

"I know I am not going to be able to walk tomorrow after this" 

All Above are comments that I would expect to hear from participant's.  The conspiracy would lay in a Marathon being held where those sorta comments were absent.
