Just throwing this out there for general chit-chat; since monday there has been the feeling that something is causing a disturbance in the force; I know it is a full moon this week, but this feels different...
and this is not a doom porn posting; just curious if any others here have noticed anything...

I have only noticed one thing, there hasn't been as much activity as usual on the two forums where I post every day.
Yes, has been slow the past few days... but warm weather also leads to outdoor activities also...

well i am feeling it and whatever it si i'm not liking it
hope a few chime in cause i am stumped for cause :(
i almost posted something to someone on here i may have regretted ,just yesterday.but i just bit my tongue.or held my fingers lol.fullmoon and constant rain in latespring is making me bonkers.i finally got a garden after seven years of drought and now ive got almost too much rain.
i agree but i think the moon is just amplifying the bad mojo.
i dont think things have gotten back to norm yet,or what we call normal.personally vril seemed like another psyop attack to me but ive held my fingers on that one too.maybe we should go back to be being a private forum.being off skype has been a mental blessing for me but i have no hard feelings over it.i see zorgons wisdom in staying off it ,now.
those are the things on my mind about here.
its also been a real slow news month, olbummer hasnt tried anything stupid lately.probably the election coming up and the possibility of his impeachment after thankgiving ,i hope.so he doesnt want to give his enemies anymore ammo.
over on lop, things are diff since my ban was lifted.disturbed tossed all his mods and now that place has classed up alot.the mods were destroying that place.the owner d saw the light.but its no pegasus.
ive backed off the research here to allow other members to step up.as i disagree with the theories being presented lately, rather than speaking up,im bowing out.my spirit wasnt broken a while back but it was wounded.
im still looking for my hacksaws to start back my thread.did some house organizing today just to find them.got one last place to look.
robo as much as we can disagree i truly respect your instincts
maybe it is just not being able to garden with this horrid weather..maybe
hope you find your saws
I'm excited inside because I perceive that global events are rapidly shifting behind the scenes. The time is due (I hope) when things will pop out into the open. Examples:
The two nation peace idea with Israel is dead, after many years of farce.
The US is losing hegemony across the globe. The BRICS are rising up and the dollar is the next target.
The police state atmosphere in the US has accelerated and we may be near a tipping point as to a general realization that the Federal Gov. isn't legitimate.
There's more but those are my feelings - and yes, I've been experiencing sleep/mood shifts out of nowhere.
Only thing I recently noticed that the searchword UFO in search engines comes up with more hoax sites. I used to be easy to find on Google just by typing in a couple words from the titles of my videos but the last couple months things seem to have changed or is this just my own perception?

Considering that Google shows first the pages that have more links pointing to them, I suppose it would be only a question of how long it would take to reach that situation, as the hoaxers and spammers are only after the hits that Google gives them, and so they act in a way to get Google's "attention".
Robo, we all can't agree on everything; and there are as many different theories as there are people... the trick is to work through the theories and either prove or dis-prove them... discussion and debate is what leads us down the path to new innovations and discovery...
I have a small project that the Janitor sent me the info on that I am working on when I have the time and it looks like it will bear fruit...
but even tho there have been several to disagree with his info I am still pursuing it to see if it does lead anywhere useful...
we are in this together, and have a very fine group of intellects here among us; working together and agreeing to dis-agree is all part of it...

There's a flock of about 20 wild turkey I've been giving feed corn to(deer as well, it was a tough winter), and in the last week that flock has broken up. I think it's mating/nesting season, which might have something to do with it. But they're all coming around individually right now. They haven't done that before, pretty much stayed together.
We had snow here Sunday. I'm feeling more dreary than cheery. But today, I will address items in my life that I can do something about. I cleaned iut the pickup that needs to be scrapped. I made an appointment with the vet for Sam's teeth. I made an appointment with the eye doctor for me. And I'm getting some laundry done. Small things that I can do to make things a little better in my micro-cosm.

Somethings going on!
No doubt after seeing this story from yesterday where a neighbors nasty dog gets out and goes next door to attack a 4 year old kid minding his own business while playing on his bike.
The dirty dog attacks and pulls the kid to the ground rampin up for a vicious dog attack when out a nowhere the families adopted cat saves the day by kickin the dogs azz and it runs with kitty in chase.

Hero cat's family tells story behind boy's rescue: 'Dog did not even know what hit him'
Video: The parents of a California boy who was saved from an attacking dog by the family cat tell TODAY about the remarkable rescue, captured on video that has gone viral.
.The story, and the video that captured it, is enough to convert even the most hard-core dog lover into a cat person.
It's how one family cat saved a 4-year-old California boy from a vicious and unprovoked dog attack – and all captured in a one-minute surveillance clip.
"It's honestly just a blur," Erica Triantafilo said Thursday on TODAY, describing the attack she witnessed on her son, Jeremy. "I just remember hearing him and the next thing I know, I see my cat flying out of nowhere, onto this dog, and just remember trying to get my son and get the dog away and back in its yard, away from both of us that it was trying to attack."
Jeremy had been on his bike, walking it up the family driveway when the next door neighbor's dog trotted around a parked car and tore into the boy's leg, dragging him off the bike.
That's when Tara appeared on the scene, leaping on top of the dog, scaring it away. The kitty then went after the dog long enough to make sure it stayed away. The startling scene was captured in a one-minute clip compiled by Jeremy's dad, Roger Triantafilo. The video went viral Wednesday, seen more than five million times on YouTube alone.
X
Triantafilo said he was surprised to see the rescue unfold. He knew only the basics of the story told to him by his wife and emergency responders before he turned to home surveillance video to help fill in the blanks.
"I was like, 'Well, you know, I'm going to check the tape and see if we got anything, and see if it even caught what happened,'" he said. "And sure enough, it was pretty amazing to see just a cat take on a dog and so selflessly just put herself out there and not worry about if she was going to get bit or injured herself.
X
"I think that dog did not know what hit him."
The heroics displayed by Tara, a stray adopted by the family six years ago, surprised everyone.
"Every once in a while she puts our dog back into her place, but for the most part, she's just the most mellow cat you've ever met," Erica Triantafilo said. "All our boys love her and pick on her occasionally. She just loves them right back anyway."
Jeremy, who was sleeping on his mom's chest during the interview, received 10 stitches for two lacerations to his calf.
Little Jeremy told his parents "it feels better" and is looking forward to getting out there to play again. "He's just bouncing back from this," his mom said. "He tells us it feels better. And he's just ready to get out there and run around and play with the other kids again."
The dog who attacked the boy may be euthanized, she said, based on the conversation she had Wednesday with an animal control official.
"The animal can be rehabilitated by the family possibly but from what I understand, that's a long and difficult procedure to get the dog back in their (the owner's) custody," she said. "Otherwise it will be put to sleep, unfortunately."

That is one awesome bad ass cat!
@ Gigas, thanks for posting!
As to the disturbance, yes here on that one.
I did notice the full moon and thought that
might be it. However I think there is more
to it than just the moon...
I have lots of birds in this neck
of the woods, all sizes and kinds.
I have only seen one hummingbird
though, and the small finches we had
seem to have gone elsewhere, or vanished
...that might be a bad sign.
The rest seem seem to be fine so far.
It really is the bees i am very concerned
about! I dont have hardly any compared to
last year, and we do not use anything that
would harm them here. Cant say for
my neighbors. But, if there is one thing
I can point to that bids a distrubance,
that it is.
Oh I didn't post the story in my ramblings, what an awesome story Sky :D
the bees dissappeared during the drought at my place but moved into a log next to my garden this year.the log is laying on the ground and not even a foot in diameter.i put another hollow half log over it to keep them even more sheltered.
my yard is full of birds .they help theirselves to the dry dogfood i feed to my dogs and cats.jays, finches, wrens, cardinals and crows.
Nice catch, Gigas; that was one more bad putty tat... and I enjoyed seeing it rescue that youngling...

There's one thing wrong in the sentence above, it was the cat that adopted the family (something common with cats), as five years ago she follow them home from a park.

Most pets have "owners", cats have "staff".
What a super cat though!
Fends dog off, checks kid and then goes back and makes sure that dog is not coming back.
Living with animals is a bit humbling. They may not be as smart as us in many ways, but they are smart where it counts.

ok thought hard about putting this out there but i'm sure most of you already have an opinion of me so ..well whatever
last night i experienced another temporal anamoly....
it's been rainy and gloomy and yesterday was no different.. wasn't too cold to let the dogs in and out but in the evening when i would step out to wipe their paws i could hear conversation.
we are too far from the neighbors to be hearing them - even with fog and low ceiling atmosphere
there was no fog but everything felt 'close' with the continous rain
so of course i looked around ..even knowing it was not "here"...
it was just a normal conversation in a normal tone but being carried from some other location..
two women and then a woman and man at a different time .. i could get a word or two and it was no world secrets..
just displaced conversation.... in english
i stepped out into the rain after turning out the lights but there was no one there
the conversation wasn't whispered.. it was normal but distant....like someone talking out in the yard...
so some type of warp... some change in the ethers.. some change in distance
oh yeah.. dogs didn't seem to notice..and they normally bark at any thing
I have had the same type of experience before, Sky; nothing recently, but have been in a quiet, remote location with no one close enough to see, much less hear, and witnessed conversations that seemed to come from no where...
there is far more to this reality that most want to contemplate, and as Matrix would say it is probably a bleed over or cross talk in the processing system...
still makes one wonder...
thanks for sharing with us...

I've had a pretty damn good week in all honesty mate on a personal level. I've done 24km of running in two blocks consisting of 14 km on Sunday and 10km on Wed in really nice weather considering the bleak intro to what we know as winter here in Melbourne Oz. I come out of that shin splint free.... Very HAPPY :D
I did my commute to work on bike all week after fixing my front disc brake...I've been catching flaky public transport for a couple of months so it's nice to put a full week back on the bike again!
Tomorrow I am seeing my 94 yo Grandma along with visiting the Tibetan Stupa in my hometown for a festival of light. Great Stupa and fireworks sounds good to me LOL
One possible oddity which may correlate though is that the machine I operate that is worth 500k USD went kapoot this week. It's had this odd problem since day dot of receiving the machine 2.5 year's ago. This week it has gone splat, receiving little fanfare if you get my drift LOL

Hero Cat Who Saved Boy Will 'Throw' First Pitch at Baseball Game
Sure, she can hit — but how's her curveball
Fans of Tara the hero cat will find out when she "throws" out the ceremonial first pitch at Tuesday's home game of the Bakersfield Blaze, a minor league baseball team in California.
Tara became a kitty cause celebre after surveillance video of her hurling herself at a neighborhood dog attacking a little boy this week went viral. Four-year-old Jeremy Triantafilo was playing in his family's driveway in Bakersfield when the dog ran up unexpectedly and mauled his leg.
Tara, a stray whom the Triantafilo's adopted six years ago, sprang into action and chased off the attacker.
"I see my cat flying out of nowhere, onto this dog, and just remember trying to get my son and get the dog away and back in its yard," mom Erica Triantafilo recalled Thursday on the TODAY show.
"I don't think that dog knew what hit him," laughed Roger Triantafilo.
Jeremy received 10 stitches for two lacerations to his calf. The dog, meanwhile, has been quarantined and will reportedly be euthanized within 10 days.
As for Tara, she's sure to get a hero's welcome at the Bakersfield Blaze game. The team, however, hasn't said exactly how she'll toss the ball — or whether it might be made of yarn.

Hey Seeker I fully get you and why you would ask this question !
It's a very valid question and one I'm very intrigued by myself as at times I also notice something amiss. ;)
I love reading people's thought's on this topic as I do sincerely think there is some correlation, and in saying so I had yp input my own week into the consensus here and be truthful in stating I had a good week. None richer mind you (dang lol) but a tad wiser in my own pursuit's!
I know at time's when I have gone a bit haywire also correlate's to a lot of different input's regarding how I treat my body/soul container, along with a full Moon.
And for what it's worth I attribute my good week more so to my recent change in what i eat abd the happiness in that choice and the benigit's I am seeing.
Who know's though next full moon I am may stark raving mad again LOL
Good for you Soma
Things have to be good somewhere.
Life was strange here also. I am not sure Sat night or Sun morning is when I started "feeling the bad vibes. By Tuesday night I just about whent red. "Things" have backed off for now.
I think Sky sent a tom cat to look after me ;) I saw him just a few min ago and left the door open in the other shop open about 4 inch so can come in if he wants. Guess what I named him Tom ;D I hope he stays around.

That's funny, I have never noticed any thing strange during a full Moon, and I am a type of person that is always looking for patterns in events that appear random.
I often hear random conversations and random music. Have for years.

How about something underground
Today I pick my sister up for lunch from her work. I am parked in the black top parking area and shut off the engine. I notice a vibration in the seat and floor board where my feet are resting. Its like a machine is shaking the ground and my car is transmitting the vibration up into the floor board and seat.
This also happened two weeks ago in green bay while I waited outside at the hospital for this same sister. I was parked on the black top back lot in her car and felt the sensation very noticeably. I even got out of the car to stand on the ground to see if I could feel it in my feet but could not. I got back into the car and immediately felt the vibration in the seat and floor board.
Both times the vibration was a constant vibration like shaking and never any abrupt jarring or big shaking. It felt as though something was boring underground. The distance from green bay to where I felt it today is 5 miles.
No construction in either area when this occurred.
lol.. Back.. be sure to feed him
Gigas.. any fracking going on around there?
shasta..i've had it happen before too but it was a bit intense last night with more than one conversation
No fracking that I am aware of.
It felt like a machine underground vibrating the seat and floor of the cars I was in. I had a bottle of water that I set up on the dash the first time I felt it at the hospital but the water did not react.
I've been hearing baglipes tonight. Good thing I like bagpipes.

that's why they're called 'LUNATICS'!
My wife's an RN on a telemetry unit at the local hospital and she absolutely hates working during a full moon because all the crazies come out and do stupid crap and in up in the hospital....that's a fact!....
I suppose it's more of an American thing, I have never noticed it and I have never seen any data that supports it.
When we're talking about things that people can control, like violence and doing stupid things that end in the hospital, the way people acted because it was a full Moon (and they think they are supposed to do something) may be the reason behind it and not the fact that it is a full Moon.
Edit: does anyone have some statistics? :)
Just anecdotal evidence. I believe emt's, nurses, cops when they tell me personally. More crap and dangerous crap happens during a full moon!

I don't doubt that's what they say and what they feel is happening, but people are easily influenced, so if they are already expecting it they will notice it, while they do not notice when they are not expecting it.
Hey Armap ;)
Dude, my very first girlfriend at the age of 16, her mother had a nursing home. You know, looking after the elderly.
Well I remember her commenting at the time that she had to double the staff on nights when it was a full moon because the patients wouldn't sleep and needed more attention generally.
It used to piss her off cos it costed her more money.
We are mostly water, and the moon moves the tides.
What does the moon do to you?

That's also possible just because they were thinking about it. :)
QuoteWhat does the moon do to you?
I never noticed anything, and I always know in what phase the Moon is. :)
Edited to add, from Wikipedia:
QuoteThe term lunar effect refers to the belief that there is correlation between specific stages of the Earth's lunar cycle and behavior in animals, including humans, that cannot simply be explained by variation in light levels. A considerable number of studies have examined the belief: by the late 1980s, there were at least 40 published studies on the purported lunar-lunacy connection,[1] and at least 20 published studies on the purported lunar-birthrate connection.[2] Several extensive literature reviews and meta-analyses have found no correlation between the lunar cycle and human biology or behavior.[1][2][3][4] One study with strong experimental controls indicates a possible connection between sleep quality and lunar phases,[5] but there has been no independent confirmation of these results to date.
I worked as a nursing assistant on a telemetry unit. Full moon, new moon, Sunday nights and Thursday nights were the worst. And the premiere of Titanic. Holidays were bad too. People would fly into DIA from Texas or Florida, get off the plane, and come to the hospital. Denver hasn't been at sea level for quite some time now. People forget that little detail.

It is even worse here in Georgia; tis true, it may just be the suggestion that the full moon has an affect on people, but all you have to do is converse with people in law enforcement(next door neighbor is a lieutenant on the swat team) medical profession (ex-daughter in law and several friends are nurses) or 911 (long time friend worked for 911 and GEMA) and they will tell you the same thing: full moon and new moon does seem to have it's affect on peeps...

Then the influence should be bigger on the New Moon, as the Moon and the Sun are exerting their influence (is that sentence correct?) on the same side and not one on each side as during the Full Moon. :)

Yes, that is a possibility also, Ellirium; but what I was originally talking about is more of a ripple or wave in the collective unconsciousness... some can sense it when there is a great disturbance or calamity at hand that affects a large number of people...
