Sound is simply moving air  in a wave pattern..

"If there are no ears to hear it, does a tree make a sound when it falls in the forest?"

No it doesn't  Without ears the world is silent  It creates a sound WAVE but you need a receiver to make it a sound

Thus sound can be eliminated or reduced by blowing air the opposite direction and breaking up the sound waves (A fan in your room creates white noise in this way)

Well in the same sense WIND at a steady frequency is effectively a sound wave. While our ears are not tuned to that low level, structures can be effected

A speed of 42.5 MPH did this

But you also have to watch out for the witch doctor mumbo jumbo.

Does that mean that, without ears, the air stops moving?  :P

A group of musicians have created a cool new beat by turning a frozen Siberian lake Baikal
into a musical instrument. By tapping the ice, rhythmic band Entobit, creates a unique beat.
