Hotel at Area 51

Great find Sgt !  ....

Initially I could not read the details until I magnified my webpage

I am pleased that someone eventually found such information...

I was wrong about it being Hilton.. but thought that it was a well known hotel..

and Holiday Inn is one of the well known hotels worldwide as far as I recall...

but th location is where I suspected that it was... ie further to the North West side of the main buildings area closer to the Mountains..and you can see many cars around the building..

Also Mc Donalds and Burger King.... I wonder if they sell  / or thought that they may have had a different chain offering Alien Burgers like that offer at the Little Alien in Rachel ! ...

NOW ... I wonder if any of us can enquire to stay there next time we visit the area..


So it was Google Earth... you found it and not google maps ! ...

If that was where I saw it for some reason I dont recall having used GE for some months...if not over 18 months ago...

I had thought that i come across it on google maps..but maybe  I was mistaken..and somehow must have use G.E...

Yes I saw the smilles but it depends how one interpretates them.. 

In the UK maybe I considered different !

As you wrote Holiday INN...   I did initially  assume that you had actually found   the map that I had seen and was conforming what I had found when I had come across it...

The thing is... there may also have been some Eating places on the thing that I had found..
and it may well have been a Holiday Inn as opposed to a Hilton..

OR MAYBE SOMEONE else had posted a link somewhere that I came across that had a similar descriptions on as you posted who had done it as a Joke ! ..

NOW I do not really know and thinking about it now....

May be what I came across had just been done as a Joke ! 

Just dont really Know for sure !

If you are spending the night at Groom Lake Detachment-3 aka Area51. They have areas dorms and such for workers who would rather spend the night then flying back and forth during the week there is a financial incentive to stay.

Also if you are a contractor and you have a program being tested at Groom where you stay may be a much nicer area then where a regular 9 to 6 Area-51 worker may stay the food for a contractor and or high ranking Military personnel is second to none. The lodging is excellent as well from what I been told and read. All the major Aircraft companies have hangars and specific places to stay if they are going to be their for a while which happens with new programs so why bother going home.

A place like Area-51 will offer hotel like accommodations but i'm certain there's no hotel there imagine how cool that would be to stay there a week . I'm sure you don't really get to see much of whats going on with compartmentalization. Maybe go up to Sams Place and have a couple drinks don't know. This reminds me of when Dan Burisch claims Richard Doty got drunk and was thrown out of Sams Place at Area-51 for throwing a beer bottle at The Joint Chiefs of Staff  !! Around 1:20 you will here Burisch call Rick Doty "Little Ricky this is so funny !!
