Okay  Dexter Press was an official souvenir publisher back in the 60's

These slide sets are available from many different tourist areas so they are all reprints from official images. Just like you see postcard stands still today, Dexter had these souvenir slide stands

They said it was a damaged ceramic tile which had detached from the Space Shuttle.

What did the triangle you witnessed do?  I am interested in triangles.
