Building On Mars

I did a search and didn't find any mention of this here. Looks like a building on Mars, very distinct.

Seeing that the image was taken from a panorama, it's likely that the original photos don't have the "building".

I sent a message to the panorama maker asking him what photos did he use to create the panorama, I hope he answers.

ArMaP, it seems that you are right. If one goes to the YouTube video, and looks at the comments, they will see this coment by Neville Thompson, maker of the this panorama pic - ie "the wall is not there in the original pics"!

I did find the NASA raw image of this Sol day 387, and this pic does not show the wall/building.

ArMaP, I have looked again, and I now do not find it there either! Maybe the poster of the video deleted Neville's comment?? It obviously was there, because I have and posted the screenshot of it! Something screwy going on with this!!!

The building was there (2013) but now is gone?  Someone has an original shot that shows it? Or not?

The building wasn't there, and I guarantee the poster deleted the comment  just another glory whore wanting their shot in the limelight...

if you haven't noticed IQ's seemed to have dropped sharply as social media has grown...

The building was there (2013) but now is gone?

From the (deleted?) message from the creator of the panorama, he used the greyscale images (like this one) that are sent as a kind of "preview" to make the panorama. As those images (as you can see in the above link) have a grid of black dots all over them that probably messed up the software used to make the panorama, as that software looks for common pixels in two adjoining photos to join them.

LOL Neville Thompson works for NASA  You will see his name on the original photo. If you recall Neville has done this several times even when we were back on ATS..

So is he making 'stitching errors' or are his rerrors NOT completely editing out the buildings

The panorama? I also have several panoramas on that site and I don't work for NASA, anyone can make a panorama and upload it to that site.

If it was a NASA server it was not his server. That server was the server for the "Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth", if I'm not mistaken, but I think you still have the screen captures, right?
