I thought you had some trouble understanding what I write, as many of your answers appear to be about things I didn't say. I suppose I was wrong.

I understand you perfectly. I just don't agree with you most of the time.

You tend to evaluate subjects within a very rigid framework. I suppose you'd be considered more scientifically-oriented.

I operate on a different wavelength. My beliefs are more fluid.

Then why is every one still focusing on melting stone instead of whether or not this event actually happened and what, if it is a true event, became of the coffin and contents?

OK, that's good. :)

That I already knew. :)

Yes, that's how I think, I limit my opinions to what I know (or what I suppose I know), because I think that if I start creating opinions on every other possibility then I could find dozens of possibilities, and more unknowns only makes problem solving more difficult, not easier. Having fewer options also allows us to see if they are right or wrong, and if we find that they are wrong then we know that we should look elsewhere for the right answer.

To me it's not a question of beliefs (except the fact that I base my opinions in what I believe I know or what I believe is more likely to be right), it's a question of me doing the thing I do best, solve problems, and it's easier starting with the known possibilities and then "upgrade" the problem to harder/unusual/creative/whatever possibilities.

I don't know, it looks my "marble doesn't melt in the sun" shifted (unintentionally) the topic.

What I meant with that is that if we cannot trust what is written on part of the story, how can we trust the rest? That's why I went looking for other sources. But it looks like melting marble is more interesting. :)

I thought that they tried to get the woman out, and some fluid drained away and she very quickly started to degenerate.  So, they tried to start putting that fluid back.

And apparently the fluid covered her back up and she returned to what she originally was when they found her.

::)
I know that I know nothing - thanks Capricorn.

Yes, that is what is stated in the article; but there appears to be only the one source article and very little to aid in verification of whether this was a real event or a Sorchaa Faal type snipe hunt...
