I consider Cern a long shot candidate and a distant 2nd as a choice for the culprit in the Mandela effect discussion.

Most likely candidate is project looking glass being conducted by the S4 project.

I think that's the reason they create things like the Mandela effect, to keep people discussing those things while they forget other, more important things.

In my humble opinion, the mind's poor memory is a deliberate aspect of the brain's software with the objective of preventing us from assembling the jigsaw puzzle of our reality.

Whatever is in control does not want us to solve the riddle of our existence.
