Has Anybody Really Taken The Red Pill?

In the respect of taking the Red Pill: Opening your mind to every Truth regardless of prior knowledge/filters.

I believe that nobody has taken the Red Pill, because:

1. The removal of the Filters of the brain would totally incapacitate your ability to think correctly because of prior programming.
2. Doing so would make you a "Complete" anathema from Society.

So most people have taken the Purple Pill i.e. Opened their minds to "Some" truths, but refused to believe the "Whole" truth.

This leads to a few problems:
1. Contradictory Evidence in your mind leading to shutdown of the capacity for the discernment of Truth.
2. Not examining any claim in the light of evidence.
3. Going with Societal Norms i.e. Group Think

Do you think anybody could completely remove "Truths Protective Layers" (Thanks Neil Armstrong) and still exist in this Society?

How can anyone open their mind to every truth without a way of know what is and what is not the truth? Just because someone says it id doesn't make it so.

Hmmmm....... Truth comes from Discernment.

It's you saying it, not someone else.
It's what is wrong with modern society....... They know something to be true (Discernment) and are told that "Learned" people know better than them.
Examples?
Climate Change, Abortion, It's raining outside but the "Weather Channel" says it isn't, so it's not raining.

You get the picture........ which is what the topic was about to begin with.

Let us not forget the forbidden archeology and all the mysteries such as Easter Island and Puma Punku that baffle the main stream, yet when taken in the context that our current stab at civilization is not the first run here, but at least the 5 if not more times around, opens up many new trains of research and thought...

My line has been "Look closely, see clearly, think deeply, and choose wisely" for many years, which does require critical thinking and the ability to reason; one is lead to the thought that the majority either do not use either or else have been mind-numbed to the point of being oblivious to anything outside their small slice of here and now...

Expanding ones mind to perceive the entire Universe at once is a goal of every mystic and secret society. Once you reach that level of consciousness you will KNOW the truth... (and effectively be godlike)

It was also the goal of the 70's drug culture  and the shamans taking their schrooms to release the mind with drugs..

OK, I interpret it as "truth" meaning how things really are, not how we may perceive them. My bad.

I get it now, thanks. :)

As an expression, the red pill needs to be retired from use.  It has been hijacked by the Right, and usually refers to ideas which are among the most delusional in existence.  There is actually a movement named after the expression now; they are a group of male chauvinists who exploit pathological weaknesses in female psychology in order to obtain sex.

Before you ask, no, I'm not an SJW.  I just think there are horrible ideas on both sides.

The decongestant  I sometimes  take is red, so yes, I've taken the red pill.  I  take orange pills too.
I think more than five civilisations have come and gone, but I  don't currently  have proof.

Egypt, Rome, the Inca, the Mayans.  We know about them, but they're extinct.  Though I assume you mean global civilisations, yes?

You are wise man Seeker.
Modern Archaeologists say that empires like the Mayans (As an Example) built all the huge structures like Cuzco and Macchu Pichu, but the Mayans themselves said that they were there when they arrived in the Americas.
Same with the Pyramids, Khufu supposedly built them, although no evidence exists that he did.
More likely when the Egyptians came to that region the Pyramids where already standing.

The Green Pill, that's a new one Zorgs.
Does it dye your pee green?
So the Red Pill removes all constraints on perception, the Blue Pill increases the constraints so you go even deeper into slavery, what does the green pill do?

Yes Petrus, like the ones that built Balbek and left those huge Foundation stones that subsequent civs built on top of.
It was a World Wide communicating empire with the same religion.
Who knows how many restarts we have had?
Some may have even colonised the Moon and Mars.

Starwarp, I daresay there are many among us that would disagree with you  8)

QuoteModern Archaeologists say that empires like the Mayans (As an Example) built all the huge structures like Cuzco and Macchu Pichu, but the Mayans themselves said that they were there when they arrived in the Americas.
That is one of the major failings of modern archeology; everything to them, no matter how many years or generations info has been recorded or passed down thru each generation, is myth and fable according to them...

QuoteSame with the Pyramids, Khufu supposedly built them, although no evidence exists that he did.
According to the Kings' stele, located between the forepaws of the Sphinx, Khufu found them buried in the sand and uncovered them...

QuoteMore likely when the Egyptians came to that region the Pyramids where already standing.
Yep  8) carved in stone for all to see, but that doesn't fit their narrow view of things  ::)

According to the Tibetan monks, this is the fifth incarnation of civilization that they know of; the Indian Vedas go back between 25,000-50,000 years; the "myths" of Atlantis, Lemuria, and Mu are deemed bull poop by the main stream Archeologists; I believe they need to eat more fiber and get their head out of their collective ass  8)

but just my opinion  8)
