Why does the death of this man move me so?

My Grandfather died of Motor Neurone Disease.  I don't know what the future holds for my father or for myself.

This one is to remind me we never know the forces, people or things that are manipulating us. Also to remember why we are using this stupid "human" suit because we can do whatever we want and we can be anything we want.

The arm one i need for protection cause I am in the need for it... At 40 lost my wife and my buzzness. Its like a rebirth and im kinda lost in the process.

So if anyone has any idea of a powerful symbol to help bring nice things, im all ears (eyes in the case )

Thank you again Space, its a nice one,  but I was expecting something magical, like runes, amulets, ancient geometric forms with a mathematical and philosophical meaning. Maybe Zorgon shows up with an idea for me.

The majority of my tattoos are of things that mean something to me.  The most elaborate one is the winged cat in a tree with the moon behind her.  It was built around the pentacle that I had gotten for protection some years earlier.  I think the process can be very cathartic.  The cat was my Mouse, who had died suddenly.  It was my memorializing of her.
