Sounds bad..  I saw a program many moons ago on the BBC about Volcanic flanks breaking off and causing mega Tsunami , they used Hawaii and the Volcano on one of the Spanish islands in the Atlantic (cant remember , maybe it was Tenerife??. ) edit - La Palma

Is there much TV / Cable coverage in the US about Hawaii and the state of the volcano guys

Well I use a little of the sheet every day and haven't suffered from arthritis since I started eating it. Haven't gotten "high" from it in years. You have a one track mind Zorgon. That plant has more benefits than people know, but we are learning!

Lava effusion continues at fissure #8 and #18, feeding lava flows advancing SE and NE, threatening Kapoho

The activity in Lower Puna remains stable at high levels with the principal vents being fissure #8 (western portion of the system) and #18 (eastern part). Both feed voluminous lava flows that continue to consume land, property and pose threats as to cut-off additional areas, prompting the need for evacuations especially in the Kapoho area.
