Since when did they let you jump out of planes over rocket launches?

Is this the latest thing millennials are doing? First planking, now this?

Now THAT is AWESOME  looks like a close up of the Critter coming out of the clouds in the NASA video

At 1:25 the one that come up out of the clouds

Some of these things are huge.

I can't help but think that their lifespan has something to do with their size. The small ones don't last (like with ball lightning), the big ones seem to stick around.

It's good to finally start getting footage of them from someone other than NASA. Hopefully the next one won't be filmed with a potato.

It doesn't look to me like they are over a rocket launch, and we only have the title to tell us that it was a group of parachutists. The title also says they were Italian, but the only thing I can ear is "oh my god", without any noticeable Italian accent, so I have my doubts about the truthfulness of that title.

The images do have some kind of resemblance to a rocket launch, but it's hard to tell, as the bright light in the dark surroundings gets overexposed and loses detail, so it's hard to tell if it looked more like a rocket or not in normal conditions.

That one, to me, looks like an out of focus object close to the camera. The one at the centre of the screen at that time is the one I have always been interested in, as it's the only one with a completely different behaviour.

Most people ignore it and prefer those that "come out of the clouds".

PS: the quality of that video is terrible, there are much better versions available.

I found a slightly different version of the same video here. After we accept (or not) that site's cookies (or after we mess with the page's HTML ;D) we can see that the video is presented as being a view of the launch of Mars InSight, back on May 5, from Vandenberg Air Force Base.

Thanks to the text at the top right I found what looks to be the original video, posted on Instagram on May 5.

In this version I can also ear "there it goes", something I was not sure about the video on the opening post.
