YouTube is not functioning

I started noticing problems at around 11:50 AM, October 17, Australian Eastern Standard Time.  For some reason I feel very calm about this, which leads me to believe that something genuinely serious is happening; I'm normally only scared when it is unjustified.

Information is difficult to find so far, but there is this thread on 4chan.

Apparently, while I was sleeping, YouTube stopped working, including YouTube TV and YouTube Music (I never heard of these before), but now everything is working.

I don't use youtube but very little, and wasn't early this morning; everything glitches every now and then...
