On the radio this am, KOMO news, Google is shutting down all the conspiracy stuff on Face Book and You Tube. Mentioned were Flat Earther's, ET's, , , , Web sites will probably be targeted soon.

The only sites that will probably remain are those sites that are government OKed for disinformation and misdirection.

A few months ago Google tried to stop ALL websites from using autoplay videos and music...

While we all hate those annoying auto play advertisements, stopping auto play messed up millions of legit uses for auto play like online games. music intros and creativity on the part of website designers.

Well the backlash was huge... end result... google backed down.

It was also stupid of them to white list the MSM news sites  which are the biggest offenders of blaring auto play

I do not see them stopping this  Google is NOT the internet police  and Facebook? LOL who cares if they go tits up anyway

There's something wrong with that, Google doesn't control Facebook.

Good catch. I caught it again a bit ago and it was said to be  targeting the suggested videos.

I have an old Android tablet that I used to read ebooks, and although it's not mine I was told by my boss to use the company's cellphone and I have been using it as if it was mine since August.

basically the app above is software that blocks cookies.by blocking cookies,the download ,upload are faster and data usage goes down.

From what I could see that app is a firewall, so it can block any communication between any app and the networks your device is connected to. It doesn't appear to block cookies, that's a function of the browser.

On one day, Marcel Fontaine was "just a guy in his 20s from Massachusetts minding his own business," said his attorney, Bill Ogden.

On the next, he was wrongly labeled as the mass shooter who killed 17 students and teachers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Feb. 14.

Somehow Fontaine's picture wound up in an article on the conspiracy theory website Infowars.com, headlined "Reported Florida Shooter Dressed as a Communist, Supported ISIS." The article featured photos from the Instagram account of the actual alleged shooter, Nikolas Cruz. Then came a random photo of Fontaine. He was holding up a fist and wearing a red shirt parodying communist and Marxist leaders.

"Shooter is a commie," was the caption below Fontaine's photo.

Now, Fontaine is suing Infowars and its owner, Alex Jones, for defamation, claiming Infowars' reckless decision to connect him to the shooting using his photo has "irreparably tainted" Fontaine's image and led to harassment, even after the photo was removed.
