A DAREDEVIL Anglesea postie has been captured on camera performing a hair-raising stunt that has gone viral.

In a video obtained by the Geelong Advertiser, the postie is pictured soaring over a make-shift jump at high speed before crashing in a residential Anglesea St yesterday morning.

The 23-year-old tackled the jump just days after handing in his resignation with Australia Post.

He declined to comment when approached at his Bachli Crt home last night but revealed he was not badly hurt in the crash during his daily mailing round.

Locals told the Geelong Advertiser the postie was egged on by tradies, who filmed him leaping over the purpose-built jump in McMahon Ave.
