The moon is all the rage these days. China wants to send people there. So too does the United States and NASA. In fact, just about every country with a space program has some sort of lunar ambition that they hope will play out over the next few years.

Now, there's a new entrant in this new space race, a nonprofit organization called the Open Lunar Foundation. Based in San Francisco, it's a group made up of tech executives and engineers—many of them with former ties to NASA—who have serious ambitions to create a lunar settlement.

I was wondering about that myself.

It seems there is more and more Lunar stuff in the news....(so is something going on?)

Lots of lunar programs in the news; lots of new ufo/uap / ancient e.t. stuff on the tube; lots of info about fusion research and new predictions floating around;

SpaceX and Virgin Galactic both pushing the lunar agenda, plus Elon Musk has his Buck Rogers' looking Mars rocket...

So,yeah, might be something going on behind all this noise...

Possibly, it was reported when 4 names and Springer, Knapp, all those turkeys were out there, that Bigelow had sold the property 3-4 years ago...

Probably so, I don't keep up with that group much and it wouldn't surprise me at all..

Any time I look at a full moon, I flash back to the scene in the 2002 version of The Time Machine.  I see the moon coming apart.  I don't think I would want to go there.  I would much rather visit other star systems.
