garlic scapes

i just pulled the garlic scapes and while my picture sharing is ka-put  the computer has some good info with pics

if you go to farmers markets look for them and buy a handfull - it might make you want to plant some garlic    they will keep a good 2 to 3 weeks in a paper bag in the frig

i have never froze any but i think i will try over this weekend .. for soups and egg dishes thru the winter
