 Okay: Hi John, here we are on another forum!!!thanks again for the link that got me here I look foreward to more moon pictures. I could look at them for ever, they are fascinating, especially when I can find something new on them.

I was looking at the goggle earth, sea floor map. I was pondering the Hawian chain of islands, more closely the chain of older islands that track off to the WNW and then subsequently  they track almost due north. Its the bend point I am intrested in commenting on. Is it possible (in your opinion )that the change in direction of the island chain could be the result of a change in the tilt of the earths axis?
