well thank you for the sentiment.   and i apologize for
upsetting everyone but i don't want to be accused of being used or inflitrated by evil entities just because someone doesn't like my opinion on a subject.  i haven't accused anyone here of being evil nor possessed by evil.  do me the same courtesy.

geze matize,,,
you guys are getting your exercise jumping to conclusions here

listen to the vid of the guy whose bees were taken..
he explains it all to you in easy to understand terms..even if you've never seen a bee

and after listening to him..he does have a gripe but in no place is monsanto mentioned..
it sound more like an incompetent gov employee..sadly female..i just hate when that happens
sigh

we have had bees and i agree there are a lot of problems..but i gotta tell you that the average homeowner spraying lawns and such is more of a problem than gm crops

here's the vid

It IS odd that He HAPPENS to have had bees that are resistant to Roundup (a Monsanto product)...  I'm sure it's just coincidental that a state employee just happened to grossly overstep Her bounds in dealing with the destruction of the evidence (now He cannot prove no "foulbrood") AND those specific bees.

I agree anyOne choosing a chemical solution to weeds is a big part of the problem, but that is irrelevant, I think.  The fact is, these bees were resistant, and kept by a long-time, experienced researcher, and they were the bees targeted.

I appreciate your thoughts

My understanding is that it is not that bad a problem AND these bees did not have it

And how did you come to this understanding?

I still don't know what the heck that bacterial disease is. From dealing with little doggies and their occasional problems with " bacterial infections" I just would like to know what this  " American Foulbrood" is..... before I decide to come to the conclusion that anybody is railroading anybody

. Not saying that it isn't happening.... but I just would like to see more facts on it posted.  It might be that "American fowlbrood" is not something that you want to be seen getting a hold in the native bee population. Perhaps those who stepped in are actually doing a service.

A little more information here please????    Linda

From:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_foulbrood

QuoteAmerican foulbrood (AFB), caused by the spore- forming Paenibacillus larvae ssp. larvae (formerly classified as Bacillus larvae), is the most widespread and destructive of the bee brood diseases. Paenibacillus larvae is a rod-shaped bacterium, which is visible only under a high power microscope. Larvae up to 3 days old become infected by ingesting spores that are present in their food. Young larvae less than 24 hours old are most susceptible to infection. Spores germinate in the gut of the larva and the vegetative form of the bacteria begins to grow, taking its nourishment from the larva. Spores will not germinate in larvae over 3 days old. Infected larvae normally die after their cell is sealed. The vegetative form of the bacterium will die but not before it produces many millions of spores. Each dead larva may contain as many as 100 million spores. This disease only affects the bee larvae but is highly infectious and deadly to bee brood. Infected larvae darken and die.

Bee larvae die.  His were thriving...

OMG.  I think *I* need to be the recipient of some of the tax honey allotted for social services.  I LOVE dark, smokey, raw, unfiltered honey!

Evenin' Amy!
Its good, but the bees dont like me messin with them! When I climb the tree, they start buzzing around my head, but never sting unless I swat at them.

Dont ask me how I found that out, 12 feet up a ladder!:(

Now I wear a hood, gloves, and a thick sweatshirt when going in for the goods!:)

Its hard to keep my grabbers down, and when they arent too thick, Ill reach in and scrape a bit off the combs with a long spoon and a deft hand!

I dont know why it's smoky, but we do have about a hundred different plants in the garden, so maybe it's a hybrid!

Filter, schmilter! thats the best part, crunchies and all!

Nevertheless, it's great on a crumpet with butter from the neighbors churn!Mmmm good!
I hope someday I can share some with you guys!

Cheers! and bee good johnnie!:D

Ummm I thought this thread was about the bees?  :o

Did I miss something?

I actually track bees , and plot out where they build their hives.
I am very practised at this, and learn't how to follow wasps when collecting their hives for fishing with.

It's a matter of watching their flight paths, then moving and triangulating the differences noted.

I did this for years , and could readily locate nest after nest.

My interest changed to leylines, but I kept bumping into bees hives... natural ones.
Been the geek I am I soon realised why the bees fly in straight lines.
They are better leyline navigators than Me.
IMHO...thats what their little dance is all about, they transmit to others the location of pollen and describe how to get their.

I would speculate that the bees globally are STRESSING... this will lead to consequences such as the parasites and diseases.
The stress is beacause they are LOST... their super invisable highways are becoming blocked with all the garbage digital outputs WE are bombarding this planet with.

The whales and dolphins beachings may be similer.

WE, YOU, ME are responsible.

I can't remember that plonker einsteins quote about bees???
Linda can quote Her fathers though.

Howdy, Zorgon, and thats a frightening prospect!!!

We did have the honey checked at the Pinellas co-op here near my house, and they sent it off for analysis, and told me it was safe to eat or even sell, but it's not worth climbing that tree and battling those little guys for a gram or two a day!

I remember the fruit fly scare of 1997 here in Florida, and the stuff they were mixing with the malathion was just like honey, albeit deadly honey, and when my truck got splashed with the stuff from a helicopter, we promptly made plans to go to Tennessee for a week, and avoided the hubbub it caused.

We have an approach pattern above my home here in Largo, which is pretty typical and predictable for most days, and I see many chemtrails around us, but have never actually seen one over or near my house.

Do you think they avoid spraying around airports? And, if they do avoid it, am I getting a pass from the PTB by living this close? :o

I will say, Ive gotten some impressive shots of the chemtrails over the Gulf of Mexico that last for hours, right around sunset. Sometimes five or six will criss cross, and my buddy actually moved to the Keys because of them.

He says his health has declined there, and he goes for biannual partial transfusions now as he has symptoms of Agent Orange toxicity even though he was never in the military, he's a pretty sick guy nowadays. Sad...:(

Its pretty sad when they can just spray us like a bunch of weevils hiding in a field, and I would like to know what that apparatus was my friend saw at Tampa airport years ago, as he called it a spraying system with tanks and pipes within the flap sections of the wings of a jet airliner there.

Mark 5 gas mask on, sir! 8)
Do they make a mark 5 for bees?

Cheers!
