nope. the money was used for wars, their wars.  they high jacked our military to fight their wars, so they could then turn around and blame them for.  most of us here can remember the vietnam war and how the vets were treated. they were mandatorily enrolled in the military, and if they didn't leave the country in an awol (federal offense) were sent to war.  same machine that did that to them, is doing that to the whole country now.  and it isn't the military. it's the international rulers.  they run this whole country, the press, the music industry, everything.  everything you see around you is the result of 2 things:  1) technologically advancing society,  and 2) being run by people who have no vested interest in the welfare of the people, only how they can manipulate us to do whatever their next thing is.  and they appear to be operating along the same lines, in the british isles, australia and most of the middle east as well.

Thats true to a degree, Undo, they are a bunch of scalliwags arent they?

I do have to say that many of those power brokers are of the BB generation though, and a lot of the folks who are the next wave of them are yuppies, but your point is good there.

Leave it to the PTB to get us riled up and look the other way, eh?

I hope Drake was right this time, and they get their comeuppance.

Those Bilderbergs had a nice meeting recently, to hash out our demise, and Alex Jones looked like a man possessed at the gate!
That guy is a wild man!
I wonder if his children are like him? If so they must take a lot of trips to the closet for timeouts! LOL!

What do you think of the so called mass arrests? Will the PTB be the PTW(powers that were)?

Its a pretty eye opening article, but it does have its detractors, so let me know what YOU think!

Right on Ellirium! Our business leaders have sold their soul for a buck or two more, and what really irks me is when these products take a dump, they end up in a landfill, polluting the aquifers with a cocktail of chemicals and pcbs to knock a drunk on their arse.

It started with the baby boomers, and their slash and burn mentality, and has carried through to the yuppies, who hold their supposed right to waste and hog the environment on high. And god forbid we point out the overpopulaters, they know who they are!

Trojans for everyone!

Not to mention the desire for a new car every few years most folks possess, and I use the word possess with firmness, as look at the number of cars to people...almost one to one nowadays.
I guess we will have to hit rock bottom and watch the wasters and energy hogs suffer the blow, while we have to figure out what to do with their piles of useless crap they leave after they die in two weeks due to their iphone service not being available! Ouch!
Le

I too must jump in and say that overpopulation is a myth.  Period.  It is only a PERCIEVED problem, touted by the PTB as one form of reason to add control - with most of Us constrained to cities because of the grid.

Consider:  If every Human from just born to just hanging on was given 1/4 acre in Australia - which is 4% of land mass EXcluding Antarctica - there would still be a chunk of Australia left over.  And the whole rest of this planet.  (And that's a pretty low population density!)

Consider:  If the volume of all Humans were placed in the grand canyon...it wouldn't fill one side canyon.

Consider:  If every one of Us were placed in the state of Texas, there'd be a fair chunk of Texas left over.

Consider:  Statistically speaking Humans don't exist on this planet.

Consider:  Because We distribute food by profit and not need, supermarkets throw out hundreds of thousands of TONS of food a MONTH!

Consider:  Because We are farming with petro-"ferilizer" and not organically, yield is lower and nutrition is through the floor - if We farmed organically We would have equal or greater yield, and excellent nutrition. http://wakeup-world.com/2012/02/26/30-year-study-organic-farming-outperforms-conventional-chemical-farming/

Consider:  We pay corporate "farmers" to NOT grow food to keep prices artificially high.

Consider:  If We distributed by NEED, farmed organically, and used ALL the land, We could feed 10 times the population here now.

Consider:  With new farming methods, like vertical farming, that could go as high as 100 times Our present population.

Consider:  With floating houses and cities, the volume available to any one Human becomes enormous!

Overpopulation, My tail end.

Sorry.  This get M'goat.  I'm off the soap box, LE.  [hugs]

Ya know, Amy, you have every right to hop on that soap box, as we all have differing opinions and ideas!:D

I thought about what Undo said last night, and I think what Im trying to convey is  better called overdensity.
All the points you pose are well put in the context of overdensity, and I feel that it's a more appropriate name for the situation I am thinking of.

Think also of the noise pollution density causes, and thats a big factor in many peoples discomfort in big cities.

Im certain many of today's ills stem from the inability to "get away" from our fellow man for even a minute or two, unless we are locked in our homes.

Maybe if we just spread out a bit into all the open land we have in our own country, things would seem a lot more spacious and pleasant.

Is it possible our attitudes, and disconcertment with our crowded cities and towns is due to density? Is there a chance all the hopelessness we face as a big city dweller, might be cut in half if we had some room to move?

Dont get me wrong, I like having a variety of folks to be a part of, but maybe we need to make a pact with our children to use that other 70 percent of the country for people, and not just prairie dogs and corn. Although I do love prairie dogs and corn! :)

I think of Buckminster Fuller when I read your post, and how everything is expanding and growing in an acceleration, and when you add the word compression to the mix, there's a definite issue with density.

Ill take that land in Australia! Heck a 1/4 acre here in Florida doesnt mean squat, except Ill have to find another place to garden! But in Australia? Id never be home anyways, surfing, hiking, and fishing, what a beautiful place.

Perhaps if we spread out a bit, the human condition could recover from all of these perceived problems, and we could have that abundance we so desire.

Room to think. ???

So, I am very respectful of your input, I will make a change to my definition of why our societies have become what they have, and say that overdensity is probably the best name for it.

Still, I will not shop at Old Navy...I cant stand their commercials!!   LOL!

Have a great day, :)

Yes, Dave, I do believe it has very much to do with overcrowding with poverty-ridden individuals.  Or at best, semidesperate People.  People who worry about whether They will have the money for both food AND rent.  People who can't afford to get sick or need a dentist or get into an accident...  People stuck to a wage/debt slavery job attached to a grid.

Just imagine if We had anyigravity homes and could float anywhere We wanted to, never having to worry about getting to work, never having to deal with ANYONE We don't LIKE to spend time with (social superconductance, I call it), being able to spend time, and as MUCH time as We want with those We DO like.

There is plenty on this planet for all of Us.  WAY more than enough.  But because of the resistor that money represents, the energy is sucked from Us and the abundance does not flow.

And in that resistor of money, the root of all evil grows:  the LOVE of money.  The resistor is the soil for that root.

And by the way...  It's not 30% We're using...  It's more like .00001%.  [smile]

some friends of ours had become a member of the host a foreign exchange student program.  they got a student from japan.  i remember him very clearly.  we could barely communicate with him on cultural norms, but otherwise, he was pretty fluent in english.  one of things he was surprised about was the vast tracks of open land he saw along highways and so forth.  in japan, land is in such short supply, they've begun building new land with recycled garbage.   they form islands of recycled trash and terraform it, then build on that.  doesn't hold up so well in earthquakes, apparently, at least, one fellow who lived on one of the artificial islands complained about how much more drastic a tremor was there, than on the real land.

anyway, it was a culture shock for him to see so much empty space not being utilized for anything here in america.  but that wasn't the worst. the worst was when the teenagers of the family who hosted him, treated him to a viewing of beavis and butthead.  he laughed till he cried, asked for a recording of it and took it back to japan as part of his show and tell about his american experience.

yeah.......lol

I guess my night of sleeping on it paid off! :) :) :) :)

We have a big country dont we? Why not utilize it with a 100 mile economy if we can, and like Amy says, floating homes that arent attached to the soil....what a great idea and cleaner, too!

Your story Undo, of the Japanese fellow, parallels one of my own, as years ago we met a young man from Tokyo while river rafting in TN, who was travelling on a journey, something like a Jewish youngster does when they reach a certain age, and he was a fascinating kid to talk to.
We stayed up for hours discussing the world and it's issues.

He told me how they sleep in drawers like I saw on Seinfeld, and how people are always up against each other in the city, theres just no getting away.

We let him stay with us  for a few weeks, and it was one of the most eye opening times of my life. When he left, he headed to Washington State to start his masters degree program, and he has since prospered in New Zealand as an environmental engineer.

Yep, 000001% is more like it, I was being conservative!LOL!

I learn so much from you three, Linda, Undo, and Amy, Im so glad I came here to PRC and met you girls!

it does get lonely bantering about with the same old mindsets we men have, and the female angle to anything is typically the most worldly way to approach life.

Another lesson for the LE, and I have no shame in admitting it, as if all of our Male leaders would listen to their ladies, this world would turn on a dime for the better!

Thanks!

that was an interesting interview.  one of things i noticed was that he avoided saying anything negative about democratic politicians. he also focused most of his negatives on republican presidents of the past.  i also noted that he was saying that the mass arrests, change from debt dollar to equity dollar, and removal of all laws from the books that came from 1800s onward, would restore this country to its original constitutional status. then he proceeds to talk about not having money at all.  he does many similar comments, which i've noticed is how all the big wigs manipulate people.  they tell you the same story with one spin on it, then the same story again, with a totally different spin on it.  and you're supposed to believe it's all the same, even though it's actually not.  i think orwell called that double speak.

list all his comments out on a paper or in a word document. number them then look for examples where his position on the same subject is listed with one version then listed again with a different version. almost as if he thinks he'll get more traction with all parties interested in a change, if he drops some type of ideal that each mindset might find attractive and persuading.  in effect, it sounds like he wants to stage a coup, replacing mostly republican politicians but he wants the support of grass roots people on all sides to do so.  then the government that's formed from that will be "constitutional."

yet when you read what he thinks constitutional is, you realize that he's basically not describing a constitutional government at all.  it's kinda odd, but i've been noticing alot of the double speak thing, everywhere.  news programs, the bible, music, everywhere.  maybe this is how they get us, by appealing to both sides of our brains or something.

Yeah, I really am unnerved by this whole thing.  I'm so with You, Beth.  And like I said...  I think David is a gatekeeper.  Maybe it's just Me...  But He dropped Me like a hot potato when I showed Him My solution.  No discussion, no questions, no input at all.  POOF.  Gone.

I would think that if He is what He claims, He would at least have questions.  Not necessarily believe it would work, but at least have objections, even.

the laws of 1800 and later, did things like  set a minimum wage,  equal pay for equal work, equal opportunity employment,  limits of a work week (so they didn't have you mandatorily working 16 hour days (or lose your job), unless you agreed to do so for extra compensation),  safety standards, such as making sure there are sufficient fire escape routes, goggles and ear plugs, lead poisoning testing and other tests related to working with hazardous and toxic substances, women's right to vote, blacks right to vote, child labor laws, restriction on monopolies, end of slavery, no debtor's prisons, regulations on commerce, such as the laws that protected smaller businesses from being pushed out by charging them more money for imports and exports and rail transportation, than larger businesses with the same product,  making it illegal to sell people fake medicines, and etc.

going back before all those laws, would leave us all wide open for massive human rights abuses and financial hardship like you wouldn't believe.  there's no doubt that some laws doth suck, but many are there to protect us from each other.

I have seen that indifference in a few others, as David does bounce around and forget where he's been.
I am pissed at him for blowing you off, Amy, and if he really understood your platform he would change his mind  quickly.

Gatekeeper is probably the right word for him, and he's saying come on in, but dont be surprised if you dont like what you find.

I do find him to be a bit full of himself at times, and thats the correlation I made in the first sentence, where he and several others have exhibited this type of mental hubris.

Nassin Haramein.

Edgar Cayce.

Buckminster Fuller.

Giorgio Tsoukalous.

All brilliant in their own right, but definitely aware of their special position in the food chain.

Im sending David an e-mail to see if he will reconsider interviewing you, and as he has answered me on several occasions with lengthy and interesting responses, Im sure he will see it.

You, Amy, have the clearest idea of what it will take to make the bond between our world and our souls right again, and as smart as he thinks he is, you are just as smart if not more, so off I go to Gmail!
