The Illuminati (plural of Latin illuminatus, "enlightened") is a name given to several groups, both real (historical) and fictitious. So yes misleading... today's conspiracy nuts have simply used the term 'Illiminati' incorrectly to refer to any and all 'secret societies' that they blame for all evils. Its funny really because all CTers are constanly babbling about being 'enlightened' but forget that Illuminati (plural of Latin illuminatus) MEANS "enlightened"  Just like Lucfer is the Bringer of Light not Darkness

Zorgon, I understand that you are coming from the perspective of the Jedi, where the Illuminati are concerned...to use the Star Wars analogy.  However, you perhaps need to realise that pretty much the only thing that the muggle population in particular sees, are the Sith.  The Dark Side is doing an absolutely booming trade these days, in case you hadn't noticed.

So who's interests are best served by promoting this age old deception?

It's not a deception.  You being one of the proverbial good guys, doesn't mean that the bad guys don't exist.  They do.  My difficulty where magick is concerned, is the opposite of yours.  You seem to overlook the fact that bad people who use magick exist.  My problem is overlooking the fact that good people who use it, exist as well.

MOST citizens in the US don't have guns either. I would guess that 90% of those in the biggest cities like New York and Los Angeles don't own guns. Out in the small towns and country side different story. Of course the BAD GUYS have them, but then bad guys break the law so all countries have bad guys with the guns

And when the bad guys outnumber and/or outgun the Police, then what will the average citizen do for protection?

That is a question that I have asked...would I want to see children learning how to use a firearm ?...I would rather not !

I agree... but if those people that hate Western society all teach thier children how to handle machine guns, does that not put us at a disadvantage? CTers are always screaming "To much military"  Okay so we cut back the military, toss out guns in the furnace... and sit back ans wait for them   (Unless the local gang drive by shooter gets ya first )

BUT I DO ACCEPT that the USA was brought up with the GUN from the old Cowboy days...and that it may be like a extra limb to some folks ! 

If you ever ride a horse out here in Nevada, you will want that pistol for those rattle snakes John's wife packed a 45 every time she went out to the mine...  and that punk kid that tried to mug her in the mall one night got quite a surprise

So I take it that many of the US Citizens will be somewhat very rebelious about any Govs attempts to disarm them !   

You could say that

Australian Gov.  tried to ban swords because a few Yakusa gangs used samurai blades instead of guns for their gang killings. Seems that law didn't make it very far.

As long as the people are think that these Sith have such power, they are ENABLING that power. Its not mind control... its the opposite in effect... they draw the energy from the sheep

I went through an initial period of watching A.J for maybe 2 years on and off !...and as I gradually learned more from him...my perspective on life really got somewhat distorted...as I started not to know what may or may not be truth or reality...as so much of what he said was so incredibly disturbing...that  as I gradually started to believe myself to be average at the best and maybe most average guys cannot take the heat when it comes down to the real disturbing things in life..and this may apply to 90 % of us and people of a much higher level of mental strengths....

When I hear A.J explaining How these top Elitist tyrants  ( or Government controllers run things in this world....I No longer KNOW what is right or wrong in many things...My mind has often become distorted...

Many of the general public just accept who these people are and trust them...BUT when A.J says things like..these are white collar criminals, run the bankers to manipulate the economies of the world and place other tyrants in power around the World..which have included Sadam, Gadaffi.
Past Russian ,  Chinese and African dictators..that have the control of Military
and police..who are often forced to be corrupt...JUST WHO are the real criminals ?........Do I trust the Military or cops anymore ? if they are working on behalf of their criminal leaders !

As gradually I see more and more take over of peoples powers for petty things...many people are being drained by it all...and the likes of the Gov spooks and  likes of TSA etc..are just becoming more and more control.

A.J refers to the likes of the CIA involved in distribution of drugs and  aiding the main dealers....yet any small dealer gets caught selling on the streets or any one found taking them...gets arrested or fined..

That side of Life has become hard to judge !

When it comes to Alex Jones, I have one rule of thumb, which is directly observable in your own experience.  You will find that no matter how much he rants and screams, no matter how panicked or hysterical he gets, after watching him, you'll notice everyone go to bed that night, and get up and go to work again the next morning.

In other words, whenever he says that the world is going to end, it doesn't; which basically makes him full of shit, broadly speaking.

Good program, but how many people can find the fortitude to even listen?  I used to think that the politicians and bankers were so blind they did not see what destruction they were driving us towards.  Then I realized that was the plan all along and that is what they want.  When states and cities cannot afford even basic services, including law enforcement, then martial law will be the only thing left.

  I am a veteran and so saddened by what is happening to our country and the world.  How many people died for our way of life just to have it go this way?  I do realize that many have died for false causes.  I hope their ghosts rise up and seek retribution.

And it's not like We have any control on the 12-21-12 thing.  The only sticking point in My whole thing is convincing toadies to release info.  If They see that They don't HAVE to be toadies in what I offer...it may work out.

I've said it before, and I will say it again.  I've been paranoid about apocalypticism for most of my life, but if nothing happens this December, then that is completely it for me, where believing in eschatological doom is concerned.  If nothing happens this year, then I am never going to listen to another prophecy of the supposed end again, but will simply draw the conclusion that anyone and everyone who makes such a prophecy is nuts.
