For the moment, there have been several studies & replica's made, most notably from 2 russian scientists, Roschin & Godin, and Paul Brown.

Paul have a history together, it is not clear what happened, but it seems Brown ran off with Searl's plans & tried to replicate it, with some small success.

There are others, we will dig them out later.

I was in an argument for 3 years about searl, & it all boils down to EVIDENCE ::). I eventually had to concede i had NO real evidence that it works, this centres on the 'alleged' BBC videotape of an actual IGV demonstration, and an operational 3-ring SEG.

This is the actual 'proof of principle' we need, the 'mock up' SEG you see on Youtube has only ONE ring, and the rollers are surrounded by very suspicious coils... ::)

Searl says the coils are needed to stop the rollers flying off, but isn't that the same problem with the IGV, or the outer set of rollers on a complets SEG?

As is, the model is nothing more than a big induction motor, analysis of the vid shows they are being switched on & off, to help the rollers round.

So where's that all-important 'diode action' giving the high voltage?

Until we answer these questions, we won't get far on this, IMHO
PWM.
