Machine Parts? - AS16-116-18603

Quote from: Pimander on August 01, 2012, 04:29:55 AM
I can see why I wasn't selected for photo intel lol.  I can barely see the words rocket and trailer.

That was my point :D  At least you don't keep telling me that all that is there is blurry rocks :P

So how about this one? Its not in Allan's set but one of ArMaP's favorite

AS16-116-18603HR click for full size NASA original

As for 'enhancements'  I usually show the simple crop of the area of interest enlarged then add some color for comparison, but when you have the original you can make your own clips

Now I can see those parts clearly... and my experience in geology tells me that ain't no rock :P

I have found odd bits and pieces in many moon images that indicate pieces of non natural debris strewn around.

Problem is now NASA is smashing spacecrafts all over Mars and the Moon so its going to be hard to tell the old stuff from our litter :P

The other thing that REALLY bothers me about these pictures is the LIGHTING, not to mention the goop on the lens and the really surreal horizon  :D

here is the next image in the role... same odd lighting

What's the problem with the light?

Atmospheric Scatter :P

And I think I will prepare for that thread on the hills :D

This is one of my favourites too.  8)

If we could find any high resolution pictures of the area taken by LRO or Clementine that would be a big bonus.  Hint hint.  :D

What, is the grey colour above the ground likely to indicate a gaseous atmosphere?

Does that make the halo around my avatar atmospheric scatter? :P

There's a whole lot of stuff in that pics that looks manufactured.

I even see something that looks like a cone head skull.  And the big block that is obscured by the smear has some interesting features too.
And you may ask yourself
Well...How did I get here?

Now that this thread is called Machine parts...has anyone besides me given it any thought that the apparent ring and pinion gears could be part of one of John Searl's lost flying generators, or from some sort of device left there by another country's secret moon mission?

Personally, I dont think alien technology would use ring and pinion gears, unless they are flying 57 chevy spaceships.

Also, the drum shape of the larger part appears to be more hollow, resembling a core drill.

If I had to lay my money down, and with that bet assume that these images arent faked, then my best and final decision would be that they are discarded mining equipment, like some sort of core drill and drive gears, left there after they broke free from their housing.

Ive never really posted much about these anomalous finds, so forgive me if it sounds a bit far fetched...its just what I see.

Cheers!

I like your idea of discarded mining parts that seems logical to as I think there is mining all over the moon.

57 chevy ring and pinion gears  from ET  craft  now that's funny  ;D

personally I like 59's  bubble tops myself...... love the cat eye tail lights. ;D

Gotta agree with ya there, Hoss! I loved the horizontal fins and those cool taillights too!

Heck, aliens would probably drive a 59 as well, they have class!

Yes, though, mining parts is probably right on...sloppy engineers!

Cheers!

It looks more like the sunlight entering the camera.

Here you go. :)

That large rock in the middle of the photo (AS16-116-18603) is "House Rock", a large (25 metres long) rock, so those "machine parts" must be very large also.

Pimander

Brilliant.  Thanks ArMaP.

With my fist look at the overhead shot, I don't see anything that indicates "mining operation" to me.  Anyone else see anything?

Does anyone think the machine parts are due to image tampering.  I'm not suggesting I know anything, but surely we should ask that question too as we are always accusing NASA of tampering. :)

I'm not sure what you mean by that.  What makes "stuff" look manufactured?  Do you mean the rocks look machined?

Where is the skull?

After studying the photos, it looks like discarded parts, possibly an engine with some landing gear...But hey it could be anything.
