American Flag Falls at Olympics

As Serena Williams was receiving her gold medal, during the usual flag display and anthem rendition, the American flag came loose from both of its' moorings and fell to the floor.  There's a lot of buzz about this on ATS; the general consensus seems to be that it's either an NWO hint, or a bit of synchronicity that seems just a little too odd to be a coincidence.

A quote from MLK comes to mind, here.

"I call on the young men of America who must make a choice today to take a stand on this issue. Tomorrow may be too late. The book may close. And don't let anybody make you think that God chose America as his divine, messianic force to be a sort of policeman of the whole world. God has a way of standing before the nations with judgment, and it seems that I can hear God saying to America, "You're too arrogant! And if you don't change your ways, I will rise up and break the backbone of your power, and I'll place it in the hands of a nation that doesn't even know my name. Be still and know that I'm God."

but we aren't too arrogant.  the people are not the problem.  i've been saying this for a long time now.  notice how rational voices rarely get any press?  ever wonder why?  cause it was already planned to destroy america, from the moment it became an independent nation.   why are we judged by the actions of our leaders, if we honestly don't have any choice which leaders we get anyway?  it's all a carefully designed social hatchet job, on a global scale. so when the dust clears, everyone else will think a good deed has been done.

the guys driving this thing, are evil bastards on a scale most of us can't possibly imagine.

p.s.  see your pms. i sent you a note on wow bgs

Serena Williams' Crip Walk Dance Criticized As Inappropriate

Serena Williams was so overjoyed after defeating Maria Sharapova in the Olympic singles and winning the gold that she broke into a Crip Walk dance.

"It was just me. I love to dance," Williams told reporters who inquired about her Crip Walk. "I didn't know what else to do. I was so happy, and next thing I know I started dancing and moving. I didn't plan it. It just happened."

When one naive reporter asked what the name of the dance could be -- "The Wimbledon?" or "The Serena?" -- Williams said, "Actually, there is a name. But I don't know if I -- it's inappropriate. It's just a dance we do in California."

"For the uninitiated, the Crip Walk is a funky little hip-hop dance move made famous by Crip gang members in Compton in the 1970s," wrote Fox Sports' Reid Forgrave, who went on to criticize Williams:

And there was Serena — the tennis legend, the winner of 14 individual Grand Slams, the best player of her generation, the American girl being crowned at the All-England Club as the queen of tennis — Crip-Walking all over the most lily-white place in the world.
She didn't do it on purpose. It was a moment of unbridled joy. She pumped her fist, jumped up and down, looked into the crowd, then did her ill-timed dance.

You couldn't help but shake your head. It was as if Serena just couldn't seem to avoid dipping into waters of controversy even as she'd ascended to the top of her sport.

Another Fox Sports reporter, Jason Whitlock, downplayed the so-called controversy, saying: "What Serena did was akin to cracking a tasteless, X-rated joke inside a church... Serena deserved to be called out. What she did was immature and classless. She made a mistake, something we all do."

Others took to defending the tennis champ.

Washington Post reporter Clinton Yates asked "Where was all the outrage when "You Got Served" — a movie that prominently featured a C-Walking dance battle — came out? Is the C-Walk suddenly more taboo as a dance because it happened on the Olympic stage rather than in a second-rate movie?"

Chris Chase of Yahoo! Sports wants everyone to relax. "This makes it seem like Serena crip-walked away from the Queen after stealing the crown jewels," he wrote. "She broke out the dance for three seconds, while looking at her sister sitting in the player's box! It's a dance move, not a political statement."

Even California rapper Snoop Dogg (aka Snoop Lion), who helped popularize the move, gave the 30-year-old a shout-out, tweeting:

The Crip Walk might just be a dance but its affiliation with the California gang has forced some schools to ban it.

In 2002, Crenshaw High School in Los Angeles prohibited the dance, with administrators saying that it "glamorizes gang life," according to the Los Angeles Times.

"Teenagers know the gang started the Crip walk a decade ago, but say it will cause a fight only if performed in the wrong neighborhood and while flashing gang hand signs," wrote Los Angeles Times reporter Erika Hayasaki. "They dance it for fun and consider it a badge of honor to master its complicated moves like the rap stars who popularized it."

Still, Williams remains unfazed by any controversy her dance might have caused.

"I dont' care. That's the least of my worries . . . I'm so excited I was able to do the dance. I'm glad I did it!" she told Us Weekly on Monday.

Celebratory dances are commonplace in sports, especially after pivotal Olympic wins. Mo Farah did his signature "Mobot" move after winning gold in the 10,000-meter race Saturday night. The U.S. women's soccer team also broke it down after beating North Korea, with Hope Solo and Christie Rampone doing the worm.

As I've been saying to undo, I can actually relate to this, as far as my experience with WoW is concerned.  You can take a gangsta out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of the gangsta.

You got Gold from me for doing it  ;D

I hadnt paid much attention to BMX for years till recently as mountain bikes are more to my 'middle age' liking these days, and in saying so... Heck the Tracks these days are off the dial.  They are like a pedal version of AMA SX tracks  :o

The Serena Williams Dance was pretty dang swell (staying on topic)  :P

I remember in one of my first ever jobs operating on an AV gig (Audio Visual Tech) years ago prior to the Sydney Olympics and how it was clearly stated how many people think the Olympics is about Sport and that its not about sport, its about Business.  At the time I thought that was horrendous, changed my tune about that now.

A lot of those Athletes can do what they do because of Business, they are a busniess in their own right. IF they do it well on the game stage and off the game stage.. THEY live their Dream, not a bad deal AT ALL seeing we do live on the planet earth better known as The Rat Race LOL ;)

Not sure why Conspiracy Boards wont milk this story as an Illuminati Bloodkill :D

Australian Robyn Glynn scatters father's ashes at Games
Quote
AN Australian woman has admitted taking the ashes of her late father - an Olympic silver medallist - to the London Games and scattering them over the triple jump run-up.

Robyn Glynn told Sydney radio that her father George Avery, who died in 2006, had wanted to attend the London Olympics because it was where he won second place in the triple jump, then known as the hop, step and jump, in 1948.

So the family booked tickets for the triple jump final, and took his remains along.

"We decided in 2000 that we were going to bring my father back here but unfortunately he passed away a few years ago," she told ABC radio.

"So my sister and myself, and our husbands, and my daughter and our grandchildren came over with his ashes. And we brought him here tonight (Thursday) and he's here with us as we watch the triple jump anyway."

Glynn then admitted that the family had taken things a little further.

"Actually, we did more than sneak him in, we snuck ourselves down to the edge of the track and in the breeze we let his ashes go and they went right over the triple jump run-up," she said, in a call from the London stadium where she had just witnessed Usain Bolt win the 200m.

"So we just said, 'Well, dad's there, he was on the run-up and he was in the pit'."

The Olympics have had everything supposedly going happen there from Project Blue Beam to heck knows what else I've seen on CT boards.

So far though I bet no-one could name the womens discus gold medal winner though without resorting to google... and neither could I :D

NASA landed a Rover on mars supposedly and yet they screwed up their Lunar test lander a few days afterwards WTF   :o

Thats a good Conspiracy ;)
